MOVING HANDRAIL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOVING HANDRAIL
Provided is a moving handrail that can lengthen its lifetime. The moving handrail includes: a handrail main body portion; a fabric arranged on a guide surface of the handrail main body portion and extending in a handrail longitudinal direction; and a resin sheet arranged on the fabric so that the fabric is sandwiched between the handrail main body portion and the resin sheet, wherein a surface of the fabric facing a handrail guide has arranged thereon an end portion of the fabric in the handrail longitudinal direction, and wherein the end portion of the fabric in the handrail longitudinal direction is covered with the resin sheet.
MATERIAL WELDER
A material welder for welding at least two portions of a weldable material together, including: a top bar assembly and a bottom bar assembly, a portion of the top bar assembly directly above a portion of the bottom bar assembly, the top bar assembly including a first and second heating element substantially in the same plane and the bottom bar assembly including a first and second heating element substantially in the same plane, at least one heating device adapted to selectively heat the first heating elements and/or second heating elements, an actuator device adapted to move the top bar assembly towards the bottom bar assembly and/or the bottom bar assembly towards the top bar assembly, such that the first heating element of the top bar assembly aligns with the first heating element of the bottom bar assembly and the second heating element of the top bar assembly aligns with the second heating element of the bottom bar assembly; a contact surface of the top bar assembly and a contact surface of the bottom bar assembly adapted to contact the material during a welding process.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WELDED MOLDING, WELDED MOLDING, AND PIPE
A method for manufacturing a welded molding made of liquid crystal polyester as a formation material is provided, the method including: a step of heating each of a first ridge portion of a first member made of the liquid crystal polyester as a formation material and a second ridge portion of a second member made of the liquid crystal polyester as a formation material to a temperature equal to or higher than a flow start temperature of the liquid crystal polyester; and a step of abutting the first ridge portion and the second ridge portion to each other to perform vibration welding while pressing the first ridge portion and the second ridge portion in a direction in which the first ridge portion and the second ridge portion are brought relatively close to each other.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRESSURE PADS FOR INDUCTION WELDING
A compression load distributor includes a support layer and a heat spreading layer. The support layer includes a flexible carrier configured to distribute a load from a compression load applying device. The heat spreading layer is coupled to and carried on the support layer, the heat spreading layer comprising a heat sink configured to transfer heat throughout the compression load distributor. The heat sink is thermally conductive and electrically non-conductive.
METAL COMPOSITE JOINTS FOR COMPOSITE RODS
A method for joining composite rods with tubular shape without expensive, machined connectors and without compromising the structural integrity of the composite rod includes internal and external collars applied to the ends of the composite rod and deformed via unidirectional compressive load applied by a clamp in the radial direction of the composite rod cross-section. The resulting plastic deformation of the metal collars and composite rod interlock those components to support both compressive and tensile loads. The deformed metal collars are easily joinable to other components via off-the-shelf hardware.
Bag sealing apparatus and bag sealing method
A vibration measurement device measures vibration of at least one of the first sealing member and the second sealing member. A determination device determines quality of the sealing process according to a measurement result of the vibration measurement device from before the first sealing member and the second sealing member reach the closed position to after the first sealing member and the second sealing member reach the closed position. The sealing drive unit causes relative movement between the first sealing member and the second sealing member from an open position at a moving speed determined according to a type of the bag, to place the first sealing member and the second sealing member in the closed position.
BOND STRIP TECHNOLOGY
A process for joining polymer molded parts. Providing a first part made from a first material and a second part made from a same or different first material. Attaching an infrared or other thermal bonding material to at least one of the parts in a place for the parts to be joined. Thereafter, heating the at least on infrared bonding material with an infrared heating element and pressing the first part into contact with the second part wherein a bond is formed.

A battery cell manufacturing device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a sealing tool that presses a sealing part, in a battery case including a sealing part having a structure in which an electrode assembly is mounted onto a receiving part, and an outer peripheral surface is sealed by heat fusion, wherein the sealing tool comprises a first sealing tool located at an upper part and a second sealing tool located at a lower part with respect to the battery case, and wherein the sealing tool comprises a sealing surface in contact with the sealing part, and at least one pressure sensor is located on the sealing surface.
Modular stand-alone ultrasonic sealing system
A modular stand-alone ultrasonic bag sealing system has an ultrasonic sealer assembly that utilizes a sonotrode and an anvil that are actuated together to form a bag seal in a bag configured therebetween. The system also has an integral control system that is physically configured on the housing of the system and runs a control software. The control software is configured to control the ultrasonic sealer assembly to close and open to seal bags. The controller may have a plurality of signal inputs for receiving input signals from a bag feeder assembly or from an auxiliary machine. The system may also have an integral bag feeder assembly that has an index roller for feeding a bag to the ultrasonic sealer assembly. The system is configured for quick integration into a process line and has versatility of communication through the control software and signal inputs and outputs.

A rotary to linear actuator, comprises a drive crankarm that rotates in a first axis of rotation; a first and second gearset connected to the drive crankarm through a second crankarm; and a piston captured between the first gearset and the second gear set, wherein the first and second gearsets rotate a crankarm connected to one end of the piston, wherein the piston is caused to move linearly upon rotation of the crankarm.
