METHODS OF JOINING TEXTILES AND OTHER ELEMENTS INCORPORATING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER MATERIAL
A yarn or thread may include a plurality of substantially aligned filaments, with at least ninety-five percent of a material of the filaments being a thermoplastic polymer material. Various woven textiles and knitted textiles may be formed from the yarn or thread. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be thermal bonded to other elements to form seams. A strand that is at least partially formed from a thermoplastic polymer material may extend through the seam, and the strand may be thermal bonded at the seam. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be shaped or molded, incorporated into products, and recycled to form other products.
Circuit for the inductive heating of a metal
An inductive welding device includes a circuit for the inductive heating of a metal that is embedded in a non-magnetic bed. A transformer induces eddy currents in the metal as a function of an exciter current and an exciter voltage and forms a load impedance together with the metal to be heated. Temperature monitoring is provided for the metal to be heated. The load impedance is operated in the region of the resonant frequency of the load impedance. The exciter current and exciter voltage and their phase shift relative to each other are measured and logged when the metal is heated. A temperature progression which is proportional to the phase shift is calculated from the exciter current, exciter voltage, and phase shift.
Packaging device
The disclosure refers to a packaging device for manufacturing a packaging for a foodstuff. In particular, the packaging may include a trough-shaped lower packaging part and a top film which can be sealed together along their edges by means of a sealing tool of the packaging device. In order to improve a packaging device completely without evacuation or by evacuation in a simple and inexpensive manner with only a slight negative pressure in such a way that sufficient vapor purging is possible and at the same time cooling of the foodstuff before sealing or excessive degassing of the foodstuff does not take place, vapor can be introduced under pressure between the lower packaging part and the top film at at least one vapor entry point before sealing and can be released into the surrounding atmosphere at an outlet point from the packaging.
Method for assembling a metal part with a composite part and corresponding assembly of parts
The invention relates to a method for assembling a first metal part with a second part made of a composite material comprising at least one matrix and fibers arranged inside the matrix. The method comprises at least: a step of forming the first part, consisting in producing a plurality of teeth projecting from a contact face of the first part, two adjacent teeth being separated from each other by an interstitial space, the teeth having an end protuberance; and a step of pressing the second part against the first part,
in such a way that the fibers of the composite material can penetrate inside the interstitial space defined between adjacent teeth and that the fibers are retained by the end protuberances of the teeth.
APPAREL AND OTHER PRODUCTS INCORPORATING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER MATERIAL

Various woven textiles and knitted textiles may be formed from the yarn or thread. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be thermal bonded to other elements to form seams. A strand that is at least partially formed from a thermoplastic polymer material may extend through the seam, and the strand may be thermal bonded at the seam. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be shaped or molded, incorporated into products, and recycled to form other products.
Connection element, connection arrangement, method for producing a connection element and method for producing a connection arrangement
A connection element includes a composite component with a cured epoxy resin, a first layer including a first thermoplastic polymer and an intermediate layer arranged between the composite component and the first layer, the first layer containing both the cured epoxy resin of the composite component and the first thermoplastic polymer of the first layer. The first thermoplastic polymer has a melting point above a curing temperature of the epoxy resin and is soluble at a temperature of at least 150? C. in the epoxy resin used for producing the composite component.

Method of manufacturing rubber-bush-provided stabilizer bar and rubber-bush-provided stabilizer bar
A method includes a coating step of coating a vulcanizing adhesive at a surface of a vulcanized centrum of a rubber bush; a heating step of heating a portion to be adhered of a stabilizer bar; a fitting step of fitting the centrum of the rubber bush at which the vulcanizing adhesive is coated on the heated portion to be adhered of the stabilizer bar; and an adhering step of clamping the rubber bush in a radial direction by a clamping device to adhere the rubber bush on the portion to be adhered of the stabilizer bar.
Systems and methods for ultrasonic welding
Systems and methods to improve weld quality are described. For example, certain systems and methods described use weld quality monitoring as feedback to an ultrasonic welding process to improve weld quality. Still other systems and methods provide improvement to double sided and single sided ultrasonic welding through the use of selected multiple pulses.
