GLASS UNIT FOR AN ILLUMINATED VEHICLE ROOF, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A GLASS UNIT, AND ILLUMINATED VEHICLE ROOF
A glass unit for an illuminated vehicle roof has a glass pane, a plastic film and an outer and an inner polyurethane layer. These components are stacked one on top of the other in a planar manner in the following order: glass pane, inner polyurethane layer, plastic film, outer polyurethane layer. Furthermore, the plastic film has a lower refractive index than the adjacent outer polyurethane layer.
Composite glass pane
A composite glass pane that contains two glass panes or two polymer panes or one glass pane and one polymer pane and has at least one polymer film bonded therebetween, wherein a first type of polymer film having a first stiffness is arranged in a first, larger areal region of the composite glass pane and a second type of polymer film having a second, higher stiffness than the first polymer film is arranged in at least one second areal region.
Packaged film assembly for lamination between substrates
A packaged film assembly includes a packaging material and a switchable film. The switchable film is packaged in and attached to at least a portion of the packaging material.
Multi-Layered Windowpane and Method for Producing Such Windowpane
The invention relates to a multi-layered windowpane including a first transparent outer layer, a second transparent outer layer, and a third, smaller, transparent inner layer that is located in between the outer layers, an adhesive transparent foil layer located between the first outer layer and the third inner layer and a sealing surrounding the third inner layer. The invention also provides a thin layered windowpane core to be incorporated in such a multi-layered windowpane as well as a method for producing such a multi-layered windowpane.
MULTILAYER STRUCTURE
A disclosed multilayer structure includes a resin layer, a glass layer laminated over the resin layer, and a tension applying portion configured to apply a tension in a direction in which the resin layer extends.
Interlayer film for laminated glass, and laminated glass
An interlayer film for a laminated glass, containing in sequence an A layer, a C layer, and an A layer, and also containing a B layer at any place between or outside these layers, wherein each A layer contains a first thermoplastic resin, a resin material constituting each A layer has a tan δ peak of −30° C. to 10° C., the resin material of at least one layer of the A layers has a peak height of a tan δ of 1.5 or more, the B layer contains a second thermoplastic resin, and is constituted of a resin material different from the resin material constituting the A layer, and the C layer is a layer composed of an inorganic glass having a thickness of 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm, or a layer having a thickness of 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm and containing a third thermoplastic resin.
METHOD FOR MAKING A LAMINATED GLAZING PANEL
A method for making a laminated glazing panel is described. A bolt having a head portion and a stem portion extending therefrom is positioned in a hole in a sheet of glazing material so that a first surface of the head portion is faces in the direction of a first major surface of the sheet of glazing material and the stem portion extends beyond a second major surface of the sheet of glazing material. A sheet of adhesive interlayer material is positioned on the first major surface of the sheet of glazing material to cover the first surface of the head portion. Suitable lamination conditions are used to laminate the sheet of adhesive interlayer material to the sheet of glazing material. During lamination, fluid trapped between the first surface of the head portion and the sheet of adhesive interlayer material is removed via a fluid pathway associated with the stem portion. Laminated glazing panels made using the method are also described.
Glazing unit, in particular for aeronautics, able to be blocked in its receiving opening in the event of breakage
A window pane includes at least one structural substrate referred to as interior substrate, intended to face toward a host structure within which the window pane is intended to be fixed, and having a face, referred to as interior face, wherein the interior face of the substrate includes, projecting therefrom and at the edge or near the edge and along at least one of the sides of the window pane, at least one male or female retaining element intended to collaborate with at least one respectively female or male retaining shape arranged in the host structure of the window pane.
INTERLAYER FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, AND LAMINATED GLASS
An interlayer film for laminated glass, comprising a first layer containing a polyvinyl acetal-based resin, wherein the first layer contains no plasticizer or contains a plasticizer in an amount of 15 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the resin contained in the first layer, and the first layer has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 50° C. or lower.
Glass resin laminate, composite laminate, and manufacturing method thereof
To provide a glass resin laminate of the present invention, in which the glass substrate and the resin layer containing a TFE polymer are strongly laminated, is hardly warped and is excellent in the electrical properties, a composite laminate further having a metal foil, and methods for producing them. A glass resin laminate comprising a glass substrate 10 having an uneven surface 12 with an arithmetic mean roughness of at least 5 nm, and a resin layer containing a tetrafluoroethylene polymer in contact with the uneven surface 12, wherein the uneven surface 12 has specific convex portions 21 and 22 which narrow at at least a part of the root portion as compared with the tip portion.
