Liquid container and manufacturing method of the same
A liquid container includes a container portion and a lid. The container portion includes a plurality of storage portions separated by at least one partition rib and storing liquid respectively in an isolated state. The lid bonded with the container portion so as to cover an opening region of the container portion. A plurality of project portions engaging with the partition rib so as to sandwich the partition rib from both sides of the partition rib is integrally molded with the lid. In a state in which the partition rib is engaged with the project portions, a bonding portion is filled with bonding resin so as to seal a cavity between an edge end of the partition rib and the lid and a cavity between an edge end of an outer circumference of the container portion and the lid.
RECORDING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECORDING
A recording apparatus includes an ink tank, a recording head, a carriage, an ink supply channel, one or more memory devices, and one or more processors to execute the set of instructions to perform operations including causing the recording head to eject the ink based on print data to perform recording on a recording medium; and obtaining, based on the print data, information on an amount of ink to be ejected to a recordable area in which the carriage moves in one of the first direction and the second direction. A length of the ink supply channel from the bend to the recording head increases in the first direction and decreases in the second direction. The one or more processors changes acceleration of the carriage according to the amount of ink to be ejected to the recordable area, the amount being indicated by the information.
Water-soluble azo compound or salt thereof, ink and recording medium
A compound represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof, and an ink including the same. In formula (1), each Q independently represents a halogen atom; R.sup.11 and R.sup.12 independently represent an alkyl group substituted by an ionic hydrophilic group; and A.sup.1 represents a C1-C3 alkoxy-substituted alkylamino group ##STR00001##
Ink jet recording apparatus, ink jet recording method, and ink composition
An ink jet recording apparatus includes an ink composition, an ink encasement in which the ink composition is encased, a recording head that ejects the ink composition, and a carriage configured to move the recording head back and forth. The carriage carries the ink encasement, with the ink encasement integrated with the carriage. The ink encasement has an ink fill port that opens and shuts as a port through which the ink composition is loaded. The ink composition contains a disperse colorant, with the volume-average particle diameter of the disperse colorant being 110.0 nm or more and 200.0 nm or less, and also contains at least one organic solvent with an SP of 9 or more, with the percentage thereof being 10.0% by mass or more.
Printing-fluid cartridge having interfering surface, and set of the printing-fluid cartridges
A printing-fluid cartridge is inserted into a prescribed insertion space of a cartridge-attachment section in an insertion direction crossing a gravitational direction to be attached thereto in an attached posture. The printing-fluid cartridge includes: a housing including a storage chamber, a supply portion having a supply hole, an electrical interface disposed at an upper surface of the housing, and an interfering surface. The interfering surface is positioned upward of the storage chamber and extends in a widthwise direction of the housing. The interfering surface is positioned downward and frontward relative to the electrical interface and is configured to abut against a projection provided at another insertion space different from the prescribed insertion space of the cartridge-attachment section during an insertion of the printing-fluid cartridge into the another insertion space.
Aqueous ink, ink cartridge, ink jet recording method and method for producing aqueous ink
To provide an aqueous ink having excellent ejection stability and capable of recording an image having excellent abrasion resistance and the like. An aqueous ink for ink jet containing a resin particle, in which the resin particle is formed of a first resin and a second resin, each having a carboxylic acid group, the first resin is a polyester resin not having a crosslinked structure, the second resin is at least one of a polyester resin and an acrylic resin having a crosslinked structure, and the crosslinked structure of the first resin and the second resin is an alkylene oxide group having a repetition number of 1 to 9.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a carriage configured to scan in a scanning direction, and a discharge head mounted on the carriage and configured to discharge liquid. The discharge head includes a housing and a cover that covers the housing, and a space is provided between an end portion of the cover and an end portion of the housing in the scanning direction. The cover is movable relative to the housing in the scanning direction.
System including a reservoir configured to store liquid and a tank to which the reservoir can be connected
A system includes: a housing; a first tank; a second tank; a first reservoir configured to be connected to the first tank; a second reservoir configured to be connected to the second tank; and a liquid discharge head that ejects the liquid supplied from the first tank and the second tank. The housing includes: a front wall; a rear wall facing the front wall; and a housing side contact, the first reservoir and the second reservoir includes: a liquid flow hole; a first outer wall; and a second outer wall facing the first outer wall, the first tank includes a first flow pipe, and the second tank includes a second flow pipe. The system further includes a circuit board that is disposed on the second outer wall and has a reservoir side contact that contacts the housing side contact.
AQUEOUS INK, INK CARTRIDGE AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
An aqueous ink jet ink contains a pigment, a resin and an additive. The resin has a unit containing a carboxylic acid group and a unit containing an aromatic group. The additive is at least one member selected from the group consisting of butanedicarboxylic acid, pentanedicarboxylic acid, pentanetricarboxylic acid, hexanedicarboxylic acid, hexanetricarboxylic acid, heptanetricarboxylic acid, octanetricarboxylic acid and nonanetricarboxylic acid.
