In accordance with an embodiment, an ink circulation device comprises an ink supply section, an ink return section, an ink circulation pump, a filter and a bypass section. The filter partitions an upstream side ink flow path arranged between an ejection section of the ink circulation pump and the ink supply section into a first flow path communicating with the ejection section of the ink circulation pump and a second flow path communicating with the ink supply section. The bypass section is arranged at the upper part of a vertical direction with respect to the filter, directly communicates the first flow path with a downstream side ink flow path arranged between the ink return section and a suction section of the ink circulation pump. An inkjet recording device of the present embodiment comprises the foregoing ink circulation device.

An inkjet printer for the labeling of goods has a housing having outlet openings for ink droplets on a front face, a printing mechanism, and two hydraulic couplings that are accessible on the outside of the housing. Each hydraulic coupling has a mechanical connection part and an automatically closing first valve. Each automatically closing first valve has a first valve body and a first pusher connected to the first valve body. A filter has a filter housing in which the filter medium is accommodated and on which two hydraulic mating couplings are disposed that are accessible from the outside of the filter housing. In a joined state of the two hydraulic couplings and the hydraulic mating couplings, the pushers are each in contact with each other and respectively keep the valve bodies connected to them in an opened state.

Fluid ejection and circulation

A fluid ejection and circulation apparatus may include a fluid ejection device, a filter to filter fluid supplied to the fluid ejection device and a pressure regulator. The pressure regulator may include a fluid chamber having a fluid port and a first port extending from the fluid chamber to the filter. The pressure regulator may further include a valve to open and close the fluid port and a compliant chamber within the fluid chamber. The compliant chamber is to undergo different inflation levels in response to fluid chamber pressure. The valve is to open and close the fluid port in response to changes in an inflation level of the compliant chamber. The fluid chamber comprises a second port cooperating with the first port to form a circulation path through the fluid chamber that is directed away from the filter.

Nozzle rows that discharge the same liquids are disposed at locations symmetrical about a reference line. The flow path member includes a first flow path member, a second flow path member joined to the first flow path member, a filter retainer member that is joined to the second flow path member and that holds filters, a third flow path member that is joined to the filter retainer member. The liquid flow path includes first horizontal flow paths that are provided between the first flow path member and the second flow path member and that divide the liquid supplied from the liquid supply unit and buffer chambers provided on the first horizontal flow paths. Between the second flow path member and the filter retainer member, filter chambers are provided in regions that face the buffer chambers. The buffer chambers communicate with central portions of the filter chambers.

Provided is an inkjet print head capable of favorably cleaning an ejection port surface and also of improving landing accuracy of ejected ink onto a print medium. For that purpose, a conductive layer formed of a conductive material is formed on a support substrate, flattening processing is executed, and a liquid ejection substrate is mounted on the support substrate with good positional accuracy without protrusion of a sealant for protecting an electric connection portion of the liquid ejection substrate from the ejection port surface.

The invention relates to a method of cleaning a fluid circuit in an inkjet printer that comprises a print head connected to the fluid circuit through an umbilical (19), and also comprises means (50) of recovering fluid from the print head (1), this method comprising at least sending solvent to said fluid recovery means (50), without making this solvent flow in the umbilical or in the print head.

FILTER UNIT AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS

A filter unit which is detachably mounted on a liquid ejecting apparatus including a liquid ejecting section which ejects liquid, the filter unit including a filter which filters the liquid; and a storage medium which stores information on the filter.

INK JET HEAD AND INK JET DEVICE

An ink jet head includes a pressure chamber, a main flow path, an actuator, a nozzle, a first communication flow path, and a filter. The pressure chamber is filled with an ink. The main flow path supplies the ink to the pressure chamber. The actuator changes the pressure of the ink filled in the pressure chamber. The nozzle is connected to the pressure chamber and ejects the ink filled in the pressure chamber by driving of the actuator. The first communication flow path connects the pressure chamber to the main flow path. The filter is disposed at a predetermined position between the nozzle and the vicinity of a first boundary of the main flow path and the first communication flow path, and the filter captures an impurity in the ink which has a size larger than the diameter of the nozzle.
