A tire includes a tread portion with a designated install direction to a vehicle to have an inboard tread edge and an outboard tread edge. The tread portion is provided with a circumferentially extending inboard shoulder main groove to form an inboard shoulder land portion and a circumferentially extending outboard shoulder main groove with a width smaller than a width of the inboard shoulder main groove to form an outboard shoulder land portion. The inboard shoulder land portion is provided with inboard shoulder lug grooves extending inwardly in a tire axial direction from at least the inboard tread edge and terminated within the inboard shoulder land portion. The outboard shoulder land portion is provided with outboard shoulder lug grooves extending inwardly in the tire axial direction from at least the outboard tread edge to the outboard shoulder main groove.

TIRE

A tread portion includes a land portion provided with lateral groove-shaped elements arranged in a first array. Each lateral groove-shaped element extends from a first end to a second end. In the first array, the second end of one of the lateral groove-shaped elements is located at the circumferential same position as the first end of another of the lateral groove-shaped elements. Each lateral groove-shaped elements includes a first portion on the first end side, a second portion on the second end side, and a third portion therebetween. The first, second, and third portions are inclined in the same direction. An angle θ3 of the third portion to the tire circumferential direction is smaller than angles θ1 and 02 of the first and second portions, and a length of the third portion is greater than a sum of lengths of the first and second portions.

TIRE

A tread portion includes land portions divided by circumferential grooves. The land portions are provided with a set of lateral groove-shaped elements inclined with respect to tire axial and circumferential directions. Each lateral groove-shaped elements includes a circumferential first and second ends. The set of lateral groove-shaped elements is arranged in a first array over an entire circumference of the tire. The first array is such that in each of all pairs of two lateral groove-shaped elements adjacent to each other in the tire circumferential direction of the lateral groove-shaped elements, the first end of one of the two lateral groove-shaped elements is located at a circumferential same position as the second end of the other one of the two lateral groove-shaped elements. Two lateral groove-shaped elements included in at least one pair of the all pairs are formed on different land portions from one another.

Tyre

A tyre includes a tread portion including first and second land portions. The first middle land portion is provided with first middle lateral grooves traversing the first middle land portion completely. The second middle land portion is provided with second middle lateral grooves traversing the second middle land portion completely. Each of the first middle lateral grooves and the second middle lateral grooves is a curved groove which includes a first convex portion located on a first side with respect to a groove-reference-straight-line that connects both ends of a groove centerline of the curved groove and a second convex portion located on a second side with respect to the groove-reference-straight-line, and a circumferential length of the groove-reference-straight-line of each first middle lateral groove is smaller than a circumferential length of the groove-reference-straight-line of each second middle lateral groove.

Tire

A tire 1 includes a pair of crown circumferential grooves 30, a pair of shoulder circumferential grooves 31, a crown land portion 40, and a pair of middle land portions 41 and 42, the crown land portion 40 includes a main crown shallow groove 100 and at least two sub-crown shallow grooves 101 and 102 each extending so as to communicate with the crown circumferential groove 30 and the main crown shallow groove 100, the pair of middle land portions 41 and 42 include V-shaped slots 201 and 202, respectively, and the sub-crown shallow grooves 101 and 102 and the slots 201 and 202 are located so as to be substantially point-symmetrical about a midpoint between positions at which the adjacent sub-crown shallow grooves 101 and 102 communicate with the main crown shallow groove 100.

A heavy duty tire comprises a tread portion having circumferential grooves and land portions. The circumferential grooves include two shoulder circumferential grooves and a crown circumferential groove. The land portions include two of shoulder land portions and two crown land portions. The width W3 of the shoulder land portion is 17% to 28% of the tread width TW. The crown land portion is divided by crown shallow groove into crown blocks. The groove depth of the crown shallow groove is smaller than the groove depth of the crown circumferential groove. The groove bottom of the crown shallow groove is provided with a groove bottom sipe. The ground contacting top surface of the crown block is hexagonal, and the maximum circumferential dimension is 100% to 200% of the maximum axial dimension.

A tyre includes a crown main groove formed by unit patterns. Each of the unit patterns includes a first inclined element, a second inclined element, a first bent element, and a second bent element. The first inclined element extends obliquely. The second inclined element extends obliquely in a direction opposite to the first inclined element. The first bent element extends so as to connect between the first inclined element and the second inclined element. The second bent element is connected with the second inclined element. The first bent element is bent so as to be convex toward the first tread edge without having a component extending in parallel with the tyre circumferential direction. The second bent element is bent so as to be convex toward the second tread edge without having the component extending in parallel with the tyre circumferential direction.

Heavy load tire

A heavy load tire includes: a plurality of circumferential grooves extending along a tire circumferential direction; a plurality of lateral grooves extending along a tire width direction and formed in a direction crossing the circumferential grooves; and a plurality of blocks partitioned by the circumferential grooves and the lateral grooves. On a whole surface of one end portion in the tire circumferential direction of a center block formed in a center area among the plurality of blocks, an inclined portion inclined inward in a tire radial direction toward the end portion is formed.
