Pneumatic tire

In a pneumatic tire, one end of a first lug groove opens to an edge of an inner second land on the ground contact edge side, and at the other end terminates within the inner second land. One end of the second lug groove opens to the edge of the inner second land on a equatorial plane edge side, and the other end terminates within the inner second land. The first and second lug grooves are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction. In a region on the outer side in the width direction, a circumferential main groove on the equatorial plane side defining the outer second land has a bent shape with an amplitude in a lateral direction, and includes an acute angle bend bending at an edge on the equatorial plane side. The outside second land includes a lug groove opening to a position facing the bend.

Tyre

A tyre includes a tread portion including an outboard middle land portion disposed between an outboard tread edge and a tyre equator. The outboard middle land portion includes first and second longitudinal edges, outboard middle lateral grooves extending from the first longitudinal edge and having terminal ends within the outboard middle land portion, first outboard middle sipes extending from the respective terminal ends of the outboard middle lateral grooves to the second longitudinal edge, and second outboard middle sipes extending from the first longitudinal edge toward the second longitudinal edge beyond the terminal ends of the outboard middle lateral grooves and terminating within the outboard middle land portion. The outboard middle land portion is not provided with any lateral grooves that extend from the second longitudinal edge toward the first longitudinal edge to reach an axial center location of the outboard middle land portion.

A tire having a tread portion with: zigzag shoulder main grooves having a trapezoidal wave form comprising first and second circumferential segments and first and second oblique segments; and shoulder axial grooves extending from the shoulder main grooves beyond the tread edges. The shoulder axial grooves are respectively smoothly continued to the first oblique segments or the second oblique segments so as to form composite shoulder axial grooves whose groove widths are smoothly increased toward the axially outside of the tire.

A pneumatic tire includes alternating first and second groove portions. The first groove portion intersects an equator and extends in a width direction. The second groove portion inclines from the first groove portion to a tread edge at a smaller angle relative to a circumferential direction than an angle of the first groove portion relative to the circumferential direction. The first groove portion communicates with the second groove portion of the lug groove adjacent in the circumferential direction. The first groove portion is on a stepping side of each lug groove. The second groove portions are curved or bent and an average angle of the second groove portions in an inner region is smaller than in an outer region. Shallow grooves having a bent point are formed on blocks. The blocks are defined by circumferential narrow grooves connecting the second groove portions adjacent in the circumferential direction and the lug grooves.

The present application relates to a high grip snow tire, which belongs to a field of snow tire, including a carcass. The carcass is provided with pattern blocks and friction blocks on the circumferential surface thereof, which are positioned on the same side with the equatorial plane of the carcass. The pattern blocks and the friction blocks are successively distributed along the circumference of the carcass, and are in mirror symmetry about the equatorial plane. The friction block includes a plurality of fixing protrusions, which are gradually sharp along the direction away from the carcass. The carcass is provided with a protection groove on the surface thereof, and the fixing protrusions are positioned in the protection groove. The present application has the effect of improving the grip.

TIRE TREAD

A tread for a tire includes a first circumferential main groove; a second circumferential main groove; a third circumferential main groove; and a fourth circumferential main groove. The fourth circumferential main groove has a stabilizing structure for increasing tread stiffness. The stabilizing structure is axially offset a predetermined amount from a centerline of the fourth circumferential main groove. The fourth circumferential main groove has an angled axially inner sidewall, an angled axially outer sidewall, and a curved base surface. The stabilizing structure extends radially inward from the curved base surface of the fourth circumferential main groove.

STABILIZER STRUCTURE FOR A TREAD OF A TIRE

A tread for a tire includes a first circumferential main groove, a second circumferential main groove, a third circumferential main groove, and a fourth circumferential main groove. The fourth main groove has a stabilizing structure for increasing tread stiffness. The stabilizing structure has a circumferentially extending subgroove in a radially innermost bottom of the fourth circumferential main groove. The subgroove is axially offset a predetermined amount from a centerline of the fourth circumferential main groove.
