Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire, an inner second land portion includes chamfered portions and lug grooves. The chamfered portions are on an edge portion on a tire ground contact edge side of the inner second land portion and widen chamfer widths on a road contact surface of the inner second land portion in a tire circumferential direction. The lug grooves terminate in the inner second land portion at one end portion and open to central portions in a longitudinal direction of the chamfered portions at another end portion. An outer second land portion and an outer shoulder land portion include closed lug grooves terminating in the outer second land portion at one end portion. The closed lug grooves extend in the tire width direction and penetrate a circumferential narrow groove. The closed lug grooves terminate in a ground contact surface of the outer shoulder land portion at another end portion.
Tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion including a tyre equator, a tread edge, a tread width which is a distance in a tyre axial direction from the tyre equator to the tread edge, a shoulder land portion including the tread edge. The shoulder land portion is provided with a plurality of first shoulder lateral grooves. Each first shoulder lateral groove includes an inner groove portion extending inwardly in the tyre axial direction of the tread edge and an outer groove portion extending outwardly in the tyre axial direction of the tread edge. Each first shoulder lateral groove, in a tread development view, has a groove area Sb of the outer groove portion extending in a region from the tread edge to an 125% position of the tread width is greater than a groove area Sa of the inner groove portion.
Tire tread and a tire comprising a tread
The subject invention reveals a tire tread having a circumferential tread cap with circumferential grooves, wherein the tread cap rubber compound has a Shore A hardness from 45 to 75. Moreover, the tread comprises at least one circumferential groove reinforcement reinforcing at least a bottom portion of at least one of the grooves and comprising a groove reinforcement rubber compound, wherein the groove reinforcement rubber compound has a Shore A hardness from 70 to 100. The tread also comprises a circumferential tread base layer arranged radially inwards of the tread cap and comprising a tread base layer compound, wherein the tread base layer compound has a Shore A hardness from 15 to 60, and wherein the Shore A hardness of the tread cap compound is higher than the Shore A hardness of the tread base layer compound.
Tyre
A tyre includes a tread portion including a first middle land portion, a second middle land portion, a first shoulder land portion, and a second shoulder land portion. The first middle land portion is provided with first middle lateral grooves terminating within the first middle land portion, the second middle land portion is provided with second middle lateral grooves terminating within the second middle land portion, the first shoulder land portion is provided with first shoulder lateral grooves, and the second shoulder land portion is provided with second shoulder lateral grooves. The first middle lateral grooves and the second middle lateral grooves are inclined in a first direction with respect to the tyre axial direction, and the first shoulder lateral grooves and the second shoulder lateral grooves are inclined in a second direction opposite to the first direction with respect to the tyre axial direction.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND TIRE MOLDING MOLD
A pneumatic tire includes sipes disposed in a land portion formed in a tread portion, and pin holes for stud pins disposed in the land portion. The sipes are disposed at positions where a distance Ds from the pin hole and a diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)≥4.0. A sipe in which the distance Ds from the pin hole and the diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)≤5.0 is defined as a pin hole neighboring sipe. A sipe of which the distance Ds from the pin hole is the smallest, among the sipes in which the distance Ds from the pin hole and the diameter Dp of the pin hole satisfy (Ds/Dp)>5.0, is defined as a normal sipe. The pin hole neighboring sipe is formed in a high rigidity shape having higher rigidity than the normal sipe.
TIRE
The circumferential groove and the circumferential groove of the pneumatic tire are formed inside than a tire equatorial line when mounted to the vehicle. In an outside center land portion and an inside center land portion, linear width direction sipes, width direction sipes and width direction sipes inclined with respect to the tire width direction are formed along the tire width direction. An inside shoulder land portion has a slick portion in which the surface of the inside shoulder land portion is slick in a grounding region of the inside shoulder land portion in a state where normal load is loaded on a tire.
Tire
In a tire having a composite groove provided on a shoulder land portion, the durability of the shoulder land portion is improved. The tire includes a tread portion. The tread portion includes a first shoulder land portion including a first tread edge. The first shoulder land portion has a shoulder composite groove, and a recess formed on a buttress surface. The recess includes an opening edge on the buttress surface, a bottom surface along the buttress surface, and an inner wall surface connecting the opening edge to the bottom surface. The shoulder composite groove includes, in a transverse cross section thereof, a sipe element having a width not greater than 1.5 mm and extending in a tire radial direction, and a groove element connected to an inner side in the tire radial direction of the sipe element and having a width greater than 1.5 mm. The groove element is open at the bottom surface of the recess.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread rubber having a hardness less than 60 degrees. The tread portion comprises two shoulder circumferential grooves, two shoulder land portions, and one or more crown land portions therebetween. The shoulder land portion is divided into shoulder blocks by shoulder lateral-groove-like tread-pattern elements having a depth of not less than 50% of the shoulder circumferential groove depth. At least one of the crown land regions is divided into crown blocks by crown lateral-groove-like tread-pattern elements having a depth of not less than 50% of the shoulder circumferential groove depth. When a value obtained by dividing a ground contact area of one block by a maximum depth of the lateral-groove-like tread-pattern elements which divide the block is defined as the block area per unit depth, the block area per unit depth of the shoulder block is smaller than that of the crown block.
