HEAT EXCHANGER
Disclosed is a heat exchanger capable of exchanging heat between coolant and refrigerant of different kinds in one device and providing an effective heat exchange ratio between the coolant and the refrigerant. The heat exchanger includes a refrigerant flow path having a refrigerant inlet and a refrigerant outlet, and a coolant flow path through which coolant flows to exchange heat with the refrigerant. The coolant flow path includes a first coolant flow path where first coolant flows, and a second coolant flow path where second coolant with a different kind from the first coolant flows. The heat exchanger is partitioned into a first heat exchange section, in which the first coolant exchanges heat with the refrigerant and a second heat exchange section, in which the second coolant exchanges heat with the refrigerant, so that the heat exchange in the first heat exchange section and the heat exchange in the second heat exchange are carried out independently.
Electric vehicle, heat pump air conditioner assembly for electric vehicle, and control method thereof
A heat pump air conditioner assembly for an electric vehicle and a control method thereof, and an electric vehicle with the heat pump air conditioner assembly for the electric vehicle are provided. The heat pump air conditioner assembly includes a heat pump air conditioning system and a HVAC box body. An in-vehicle heat exchanger of the heat pump air conditioning system is located in the HVAC box body. An auxiliary heater is also arranged in the HVAC box body. The auxiliary heater is located at a leeward side of the in-vehicle heat exchanger. The heat pump air conditioning system is provided with a defrosting branch connecting with a refrigerant outlet of an external heat exchanger and a suction port of a compressor. When the heat pump air conditioning system is in a defrosting mode, the HVAC box body supplies air to the vehicle, the auxiliary heater is turned on.
Vapor injection heat pump and control method
A refrigerant loop of a vapor injection heat pump includes a compressor, first and second expansion valves, and first and second separator valves. The separator valves allow an entire refrigerant flow to pass therethrough or operate to separate vapor and liquid components of expanded refrigerant and inject the vapor component into a suction port of the compressor. Vapor injection occurs in both heating and cooling modes of operation and may depend upon an ambient condition (e.g., high or low ambient temperatures). An accumulator receives an output refrigerant of the heat exchangers dependent upon the mode and directs a vapor component into another suction port of the compressor. A control module controls at least the first and second expansion valves and first and second separator valves dependent upon the mode of operation which include, among others, heating, cooling, and dehumidification and re-heating.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEFROSTING A HEAT EXCHANGER
A method for defrosting a heat exchanger of a refrigeration circuit is provided. The method includes monitoring a compressor suction parameter at a suction line to a compressor of the refrigeration circuit. The method also includes determining a compressor suction parameter threshold. Also, the method includes initiating a defrost mode of the refrigeration circuit when the compressor suction parameter is less than or equal to the compressor suction parameter threshold.

Integrated heat pump bundled module mounting manifold
A vehicle HVAC system including a heat pump system. The heat pumps system including a refrigerant module mounting manifold, the manifold including a first plate and a second plate. The first plate and the second plate are configured to couple together such that together they define a plurality of channels for directing the flow of refrigerant through the heat pump system. One or more auxiliary modules are fluidly coupled to the refrigerant module mounting manifold.
HEAT PUMP SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A heat pump system may include a cooling apparatus configured to include a radiator, a first water pump, a first valve, a second valve, and a reservoir tank which are connected through a coolant line; a battery cooling apparatus including a battery coolant line connected to the coolant line through the first valve, and a second water pump and a battery module which are connected through the battery coolant line to circulate the coolant in the battery module; a heating apparatus including a heating line connected to the coolant line through the second valve and a third water pump provided on the heating line, and a heater; a chiller provided in the battery coolant line between the first valve and the battery module, connected to a chiller connection line through the second valve connected to the chiller connection line, and connected to a refrigerant line of an air conditioner through a refrigerant connection line.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
An air conditioning system for a vehicle. The air conditioning system includes a cooling line adapted to transport a coolant fluid and a first heat-exchanging arrangement connected to the cooling line. The air conditioning system includes a first liquid container being arranged to hold a first liquid heat exchange medium and the first heat-exchanging arrangement is arranged inside the first liquid container for exchanging heat between the coolant fluid and the first liquid heat exchange medium.
Refrigeration system for a vehicle, comprising a refrigerant circuit having a heat exchanger, and heat exchanger for such a refrigeration system
A refrigeration system for a vehicle including a refrigerant circuit having a double-flow heat exchanger, it being possible to operate the heat exchanger as a refrigerant condenser/gas cooler for an AC mode or as an air heat pump evaporator for a heat pump mode. The first flow of the heat exchanger has a first refrigerant connection and the second flow of the heat exchanger has a second refrigerant connection. For double flow through the heat exchanger in AC mode the first refrigerant connection is a refrigerant inlet and the second refrigerant connection is a refrigerant outlet. For single flow through the heat exchanger in heat pump mode the second refrigerant connection is a refrigerant inlet.
