Open roof construction for a vehicle and rollo assembly for use therein

An open roof construction includes a rollo screen and a winding shaft. The screen includes a screen edge which is attached to a stationary member. An operating beam on an opposite edge is movable parallel to the opening in correspondence with the amount of screen wound on or off the winding shaft. The screen has two longitudinal edges which, when the screen is wound off, are brought into engagement with holding members extending alongside the longitudinal edges of the roof opening. The holding members each comprise at least a groove having an elongated opening. An edge area near each edge of the screen is insertable into the respective groove together with a locking member clamping the screen in the groove. The locking member, the edge area of the screen and the groove having a shape and/or dimension preventing the locking member from unintentionally leaving the groove through the entrance opening.

At least one fixing element is formed integrally on each of the guide rails at an upper side facing the body-shell element, said fixing element being in engagement with at least one molded portion which is molded to the body-shell element and has at least one fixing counterpart.

SUNSHADE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING

A sunshade system for a vehicle, comprises a sunscreen having at least a main part and two opposed, laterally placed, inwardly folded parts. The sunscreen includes an intermediate part extending in between the main part and the inwardly folded parts each connected to the intermediate part by means of a fold. Two opposed longitudinal guides retain the adjacent inwardly folded part and at least a part of the corresponding intermediate part of the flexible sunscreen. The guides engage the inwardly folded part. Each intermediate part includes a first compressed part extending in longitudinal direction and comprising at least material of the main part. The first compressed part is established under the influence of a compression treatment such that said material in the first compressed part has a thickness smaller than the thickness of the same material in the main part.

Roller Blind System for a Vehicle Roof

The present invention relates to a roller blind system for a vehicle roof, comprising two roller blind assemblies, wherein he roller blind web of the first roller blind assembly is designed to be longer in the extension direction than the roller blind web of the second roller blind assembly. At least one compression-resistant drive cable is provided, a first section of which is firmly attached to a pulling hoop of the first roller blind assembly and a second section of which can be detachably engaged with a pulling hoop of the second roller blind assembly. According to the invention, a locking mechanism is provided, which has an elastically deformable clip-on connection, by means of which the second section of the drive cable can be detachably engaged with the pulling hoop of the second roller blind assembly.

Roller blind arrangement comprising guide strips for a roller blind web

A vehicle roof roller blind arrangement having roller blind web, which can be wound up to form a roller blind fabric roll in a winding area, and two guide rails disposed on either side of the web and which have respective guide tracks in which lateral guide strips of the web are guided, the guide rails connected to each other via a transverse frame part in which the winding area for the roller blind web is formed. Each guide rail has a clean-cut end adjacent to the transverse frame part. The transverse frame part has a strip infeed element for each guide rail, the strip infeed elements forming infeed tracks for the guide strips, each infeed track being defined by at least one inner retaining rib and at least one outer retaining rib for the guide strip, and the infeed tracks ending in the guide tracks of the guide rails.
