ROOF SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE COMPRISING A SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY
A roof system for a vehicle includes a sunshade assembly, which comprises a flexible sunscreen having opposed longitudinal and transversal edges and a winding shaft carrying a winding roller configured for winding and unwinding the sunscreen. The roller is provided with an internal spring connected between the roller and the shaft and is preloaded to wind the sunscreen thereon. Two drive cables extend along and are capable of a movement parallel to the longitudinal edges of the sunscreen. The cables are connected to opposite ends of an operating beam for moving it to wind and unwind the sunscreen. A rotatable gearwheel is positioned at only one end of and concentrically fixed to the shaft and is drivably in engagement with one of the drive parts, such that a displacement of said one of the drive parts results in a rotation of the shaft in the same direction as the roller.
Apparatus and method for shielding an occupant from sunlight passing through side windows of a motor vehicle
An apparatus for shielding an occupant of a motor vehicle from sunlight passing through the side windows of the motor vehicle includes a guideway and a shade. The guideway includes a first open lateral end and a second open lateral end. The shade is displaceable along the guideway between a first use position projecting from the first open lateral end, a second use position projecting form the second open lateral end and an intermediate stowed position. A method of shielding an occupant of a motor vehicle from sunlight passing through a first side window and a second side window is also described.
Vehicle Roof With Support Portion and Roller Blind Assembly
A vehicle roof having at least one transparent roof portion, a roof-attached support portion and a roller blind assembly for selectively shading or at least partially exposing the transparent roof portion, the roller blind assembly having at least one roller blind unit comprising a roller blind web, which can be wound up into a roller blind coil, and a lateral bearing element on either side of the vertical longitudinal center plane of the roof. The roller blind coil can be disposed between the two lateral bearing elements. The roller blind assembly may have a bearing shell on top of which the at least one roller blind unit is attached via the lateral bearing elements and which is fixed to the at least one support portion from below.
SHADE DEVICE
A shade device includes: guide rails extending in parallel to each other in a first direction as one direction; a winding shaft extending in a second direction as a direction orthogonal to the first direction on one end side of both of the guide rails in the first direction; a light-shielding sheet having one end portion coupled to the winding shaft; a rod extending in the second direction and coupled to the other end portion of the light-shielding sheet; sliding members attached to both of the end portions of the rod in a longitudinal direction and slidably supported by both of the guide rails; and guide members are attached to both of the end portions of the rod in the longitudinal direction, slidably supported by both of the guide rails, and fixed in a state where both of the side edges of the light-shielding sheet are folded.
OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR A VEHICLE AND ROLLO ASSEMBLY FOR USE THEREIN
An open roof construction includes a rollo screen and a winding shaft. The screen includes a screen edge which is attached to a stationary member. An operating beam on an opposite edge is movable parallel to the opening in correspondence with the amount of screen wound on or off the winding shaft. The screen has two longitudinal edges which, when the screen is wound off, are brought into engagement with holding members extending alongside the longitudinal edges of the roof opening. The holding members each comprise at least a groove having an elongated opening. An edge area near each edge of the screen is insertable into the respective groove together with a locking member clamping the screen in the groove. The locking member, the edge area of the screen and the groove having a shape and/or dimension preventing the locking member from unintentially leaving the groove through the entrance opening.
SUN-PROTECTION ROLLER BLIND, SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM WITH SUCH A SUN-PROTECTION ROLLER BLIND AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SUN-PROTECTION ROLLER BLIND
A sun-protection roller blind for a motor vehicle, with a flat roller blind body and two guide bands which extend along two edges of the roller blind body, in which the guide bands are made of plastic and the roller blind body is welded to the guide bands. A sliding roof system with two guide rails in which the guide bands of such a sun-protection roller blind are received. A method for producing such a sun-protection roller blind, in which the roller blind body is thermally welded to the guide bands by means of ultrasound or by means of a stamp.
ROLLER SHUTTER FOR AUTOMOBILE
The present invention discloses a roller shutter for an automobile, comprising guide slots, a roller shutter, a lock catch assembly locked with the guide slots, a rolling and unrolling assembly, a plurality of groups of pre-positioning installation assemblies and locking assemblies. Compared with the prior art, the roller shutter for an automobile enables the two guide slots to keep parallel through the pre-positioning installation assemblies and the positioning and locking assemblies during the assembling of the roller shutter. Because the switching process of the roller shutter is smoother at the connection between the roller shutter and the guide slots, more labor is saved. A guide turntable enables the roller shutter to slide through frictional force with the slots of the roller shutter, rolling and unrolling become smooth. The lock catch assembly can lock and position the roller shutter at any time, flexibility is strong and freedom is high.
Roller blind arrangement for a motor vehicle
The invention concerns a shade system for a motor vehicle, said system being adapted to obscure a transparent bodywork element. Said shade system comprises at least one shade guideway, a winding shaft and lateral elements wherein are guided the lateral edges of the shade guideway. The lateral edges of the shade guideway have each a flat and flexible driving band. In order to ensure that said diving bands are wound on the winding shaft and are unwound therefrom in a specific manner, a lateral winding guide is arranged at the winding shaft for each driving band, said winding guides preventing the driving bands from being laterally offset at the winding shaft.
Roller blind arrangement comprising guide strips for a roller blind web
A vehicle roof roller blind arrangement having roller blind web, windable to form a roller blind fabric roll in a winding area, and two guide rails disposed on either side of the web and which have respective guide tracks in which lateral guide strips of the web are guided, the guide rails connected to each other via a transverse frame part in which the winding area for the roller blind web is formed. Each guide rail has a clean-cut end adjacent to the transverse frame part. The transverse frame part has a strip infeed element for each guide rail, the strip infeed elements forming infeed tracks for the guide strips, each infeed track being defined by at least one inner retaining rib and at least one outer retaining rib for the guide strip, and the infeed tracks ending in the guide tracks of the guide rails.
