Module carrier for a door module of a motor vehicle door and method of producing the same
It is provided a module carrier for a door module of a motor vehicle door, wherein at least one functional element is to be fixed to the module carrier. The module carrier is formed substantially by an organic sheet and is delimited by an encircling outer edge with at least one sealing element. On the module carrier, there is provided a multiplicity of interfaces firstly for fixing the module carrier to a door structure of a motor vehicle door and secondly for connecting the at least one functional element and/or further components of the door module to the module carrier.
VEHICLE TRIM PANEL INTERLOCK FOR LIMITING TRIM PANEL SEPARATION DURING AN IMPACT CONDITION
A vehicle door includes a first interlock coupled to an inner frame panel. A second interlock coupled to an inner trim panel. The first and second interlocks are separated to define a ready state. During an impact condition, the first and second interlocks selectively engage one another to define an impact state that resists deflection of the inner trim panel away from the inner frame panel.
Door module for a motor vehicle door
It is provided a door module for a motor vehicle door, having a module carrier which is formed substantially by organic sheet, an attachment region of the module carrier, which is surrounded by a stamped protuberance of the organic sheet, a window regulator drive, arranged in the attachment region, of a motor vehicle window regulator, and at least one flexible traction mechanism proceeding from the window regulator drive and coupled thereto, which traction mechanism extends along the module carrier. In the attachment region of the module carrier, a longitudinally extending stiffening region is formed, which is formed at least partially as a stamped protuberance of the organic sheet and which runs along the direction of extent of a section of the flexible traction mechanism.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
The vehicle door assembly includes an outer panel which has a rocker sill area and a beltline area. A reinforcement member, which is made of one or more pieces, is attached with the outer panel along at least a portion of an outer periphery of the outer panel. The door assembly further includes a module which is made as a single integral piece and is fixedly attached with the reinforcement member. The module has an inner beltline reinforcement and supports a pair of window channels and a window regulator for controllably raising and lowering a window between an open position and a closed position.
Upper reinforcement for a door trim panel and method of tuning performance characteristics thereof
An upper reinforcement for a door trim panel includes a reinforcement channel, softening features within reinforcement channel, a tab depending from the reinforcement channel, and a trigger feature between the reinforcement channel and the tab whereby the reinforcement channel is released from the tab during a side impact. A method of tuning performance characteristics of the upper reinforcement is also described.
RIGIDITY-IMPROVED VEHICLE PANEL DOOR
A rigidity-improved vehicle panel door includes an external panel positioned, toward the outside of a vehicle, in a door of the vehicle, an internal panel, an external edge portion of the internal panel being joined to the external panel and the internal panel being positioned, toward the interior of the vehicle, in the door of the vehicle, support members disposed in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, reinforcement members coupled to a front end portion and a front end portion, respectively, of the door, joint members superposed and coupled to the reinforcement members, respectively and coupled to the support members to surround external surfaces of the support members.
Module assembly for a vehicle having sealing component for a sill region of a window opening
A module assembly for a vehicle, including a shell construction, defining a window opening, and a module component fixed to the shell construction and forming a part of the sill flange extending along a longitudinal extension direction for attaching a seal in a sill region of the window opening, wherein at least one flange section of the shell construction extending along the longitudinal extension direction and/or at least one flange section of the module component extending along the longitudinal extension direction is provided for forming the sill flange. The flange section of the shell construction and/or the flange section of the module component has at least one contact region protruding transverse to the longitudinal extension direction.
Door Bodyshell of a Framed Door of a Motor Vehicle and Production Method Thereof
A door bodyshell of a framed door of a motor vehicle is provided. The door bodyshell includes a door inside panel and an assembly fastened to the door inside panel. The door inside panel has an inner sill region and a peripheral frame structure, which is connected to the inner sill region, for a motor vehicle side window. The assembly fastened to the door inside panel has a reinforcing structure, which is arranged level with the inner sill region, and a door outside skin, which is connected to the reinforcing structure level with the inner sill region by way of a flange or a welded joint. In a state in which the door body shell is installed on the motor vehicle, the reinforcing structure level with the inner sill region is inclined in the direction of a motor vehicle interior such that the flange or the welded joint and a horizontal plane enclose an angle of less than 90. In the state in which the door body shell is installed on the motor vehicle, the flange or the welded joint is formed as far as at least an outer comer, in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, of an outer sill region of the door body shell.
