Folding top for a vehicle
A folding top for a vehicle includes a folding top fabric for covering a vehicle interior in a closed position and opening up the vehicle interior in an open position. The folding top has an A pillar portion for mechanical connection to an A pillar of the vehicle, a C pillar portion for mechanical connection to a C pillar of the vehicle, a B pillar portion between the A pillar portion and the C pillar portion for lateral connection to a B pillar of the vehicle. A tensioning cable extends from the A pillar portion via the B pillar portion into the C pillar portion on each side of the folding top fabric in order to tension the folding top fabric in the closed position.
Top of a convertible vehicle, comprising a headliner assembly
A top of a convertible vehicle, including a top linkage which can be displaced between a closed and a storage position has a linkage assembly on either side of a vertical longitudinal center plane. Each linkage assembly includes a main multi-bar assembly, which is pivotably mounted on a respective vehicle-attached main bearing, and a front roof link, which pivots relative to the main multi-bar assembly when the linkage assembly is actuated, and is covered with a headliner assembly when the top linkage is in the closed position. The headliner assemblies comprise a front headliner flap which is articulated to the respective front roof link via a link assembly and which can be pivoted between a covering and an uncovering position, in which the front headliner flap is located when the top linkage is in the storage position and in which the respective front roof link is accessible from above.

Top of a convertible vehicle having an unfoldable headliner
A top of a convertible vehicle having a top linkage displaceable between a closed position, in which the top covers a vehicle interior, and a storage position, in which the vehicle interior is open toward the sky, and which has a linkage arrangement on either side of a vertical longitudinal center plane of the top, the linkage arrangement being covered by a headliner when in the closed position. A fabric deflecting element for the headliner is attached to each of the linkage arrangements, the fabric deflecting element moving relative to a roof side rail when the top linkage is being displaced between the closed position and the storage position, an edge of the headliner being attached to the roof side rail. The headliner slides on a fabric contact surface of the fabric deflecting element when the top linkage is being displaced between the storage position and the closed position.
Top Of A Convertible Vehicle, Comprising A Headliner Assembly
A top of a convertible vehicle, including a top linkage which can be displaced between a closed and a storage position has a linkage assembly on either side of a vertical longitudinal center plane. PUSHING AND/OR PULLING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE TOP AND TOP FOR AN OPENABLE VEHICLE ROOF
A pushing and/or pulling device for a vehicle top, with two link chains, which are respectively provided with a plurality of link elements and extend at a predetermined distance to each other. The link chains are respectively guided at one end in a guide, which defines a movement direction and a distance of the link chains to each other, which are connected at the other end via a transverse connection to each other, so that the link chains extend upon exiting the guide in a joint plane. Two adjacent link elements of the link chains are movably connected to each other via a joint, so that at least one part of the link elements is upon entering the link chains put away in the respective guide in a corresponding storage area.
Openable vehicle roof structure
An openable roof includes an expandable and retractable awning frame, and an awning cloth for covering the outside of the awning frame. The awning frame is provided with an awning bow which supports the awning cloth when the awning frame is expanded. The awning bow includes a pair of left and right leg portions extending in up and down directions, and an upper side portion which connects between upper ends of the leg portions in a vehicle width direction. Each of the leg portions of the awning bow is formed with two or more bent parts. At least one pair of the bent parts on each of the leg portions are configured such that moments generated in the awning bow due to a tensile force exerted from the awning cloth when the openable roof is in an expanded state act in such directions as to cancel out each other.
Top for an openable vehicle roof
A top for an openable vehicle roof, includes a front section constructed coupleable to a windshield cross member of a vehicle, a rear section configured pivotal and/or lowerable, a flexible section arranged between the front section and the rear section, wherein at least one of the front section and the flexible section is configured shiftable, and a self-supporting pushing- and/or pulling device for moving the flexible section, wherein during an opening process of the top the flexible section is foldable above the rear section so that an outer surface of the flexible section faces an outer surface of the front section.
