MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING A MULTI-FUNCTION MOUNTING APPARATUS
A motor vehicle multi-function mounting apparatus is disclosed comprising a support pedestal and a two part quick release mounting assembly for selectively attaching one of a selection of differing objects to an upper end of the support pedestal.
Locking device, especially for locking a backrest of a vehicle seat to a vehicle structure
A locking device (100), especially for locking a backrest (4) of a vehicle seat (1) to a vehicle structure (6), includes a rotary latch lock (20) for locking a mating element (8). The locking device (100) further includes an ejection lever (133) which, in an unlocked state of the rotary latch-type lock (20), moves the mating element (8) relative to the rotary latch-type lock (20) by actuating an operating handle (121).
Seat Assembly Using J-Track Seats
The present invention includes a movable seat assembly for a vehicle, comprising: first and second predetermined paths located on the floor of the vehicle, each path having an operational location at a first end and an ingress/egress location at a second end, the paths having a substantially straight portion and a curved portion; a seat slidably connected to the paths and capable of translation between the first and the second position; two or more openings on the floor of the vehicle on or about the first and second predetermined paths that provide a locking position for the seat, wherein the two or more opening are connected via a conduit below the surface of the floor; and at least one locking pin/plunger connected to the seat and capable of engaging the two or more openings to lock the seat in place along the first and second predetermined paths.
ADAPTER RAIL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING AN OBJECT TO A FLOOR RAIL IN A TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
An adapter rail system for mounting objects to a floor rail in a transportation means includes an elongate adapter rail element, an arresting element and a movement rail element. The adapter rail element has a surface contour having regularly consecutively arranged neckings and widenings, which surface contour corresponds to an opening contour of a floor rail, which includes regularly consecutively arranged grid openings, which are penetrated by a slit. The adapter rail element has protrusions extending perpendicular to the plane spanned by the surface contour and are each arranged in the region of a necking. The arresting element has a surface contour corresponding to the opening contour of at least one grid opening. The arresting element is dimensioned to be flush between two adjacent protrusions of the adapter rail element onto the adapter rail element. The movement rail element is connectable with the protrusions of the adapter rail element.
Device for Anchoring a Seat in a Motor Vehicle
A device is provided for anchoring a seat of a motor vehicle on a vehicle floor, wherein, on its lower side, the seat has at least one seat rail which extends in an X-direction of the motor vehicle. An adapter plate is arranged underneath at one end of the seat rail in a Z-direction, which adapter plate has a first hook which extends at one end of the seat rail downwards in the Z-direction and back again in the X-direction of the seat rail. The vehicle floor has an attachment pot, with a first aperture and a second aperture which extend in the X-direction. The first hook can be introduced downwards in the Z-direction into the first aperture and can be displaced in the X-direction until the hook is hooked onto a stop which is arranged within the attachment pot and is oriented in a Y-direction. One and the same device can be used for seats of different widths, and can be used for different Y-positions of the seat reference point in different vehicle derivatives.
Adaptable vehicle seat fitting
A seat support for use with a vehicle seat and configured to engage a track on the floor of the vehicle. The track including two inwardly-directed lips on opposed sides of a slot, the lips providing first alternating protrusions, a spacing distance apart, and recesses along the length of the track. The seat support having an elongate main body and including an interface portion having second alternating protrusions and recesses. The second protrusions are spaced apart by the same spacing distance as the first protrusions. The seat support includes first and second bracing members and a locking arrangement. The locking arrangement configured to restrain the longitudinal movement of the seat support when engaged.
Longitudinal adjusting device for a vehicle seat, comprising a separable upper and lower rail
A longitudinal adjusting device for a vehicle seat, includes a lower rail and an upper rail, wherein the upper rail is arranged longitudinally displaceably in the lower rail. The upper rail is engaged with the lower rail. A retaining and guiding element is designed, integrally formed or arranged on an upper edge of the lower rail. The element holds the upper rail on the lower rail in the operating position. At least two locking elements are arranged on and/or integrated in the upper rail and after same are unlocked. The upper rail and a vehicle seat attached thereto in a predefined position can be separated from the lower rail.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT
An aircraft passenger seat (100) is fixed to a floor via a seat track fitting (110), and a reclining assembly of the seat is supported by pipes (130, 132) passed through left and right legs (120) and spreaders (170). A linear actuator (300) operates a reclining motion. A curved arm for deformation is provided to a mount (320) on which the actuator (300) is mounted, and a slit (145) is provided in a link plate (140) to which a rod is connected, and in a state where a forward force F is applied, the curved arm deforms and absorbs the impact. An impact absorbing structure is also provided to the legs (120).
SEAT RAIL AND A SEAT MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR AN AIRCRAFT
A seat mounting system having a seat rail and a seat fitting, wherein the seat rail has an upper flange with a plurality of heads thereon. The seat fitting comprises a main body having a void configured to receive the upper flange and at least some of the plurality of heads.
Adjustable vehicle seat
An adjustable vehicle seat (1) includes a seat part (2) and a backrest (3) which is pivotable relative to the seat part via a backrest adjustment fitting (5) and is lockable in a plurality of angular positions. A locking device (90) locks the seat part to a vehicle structure. An unlocking lever (30) transmits an unlocking movement to the locking device. A first interlock element (54), with the fitting unlocked, prevents a movement of the unlocking lever for unlocking the locking device and with the locking device unlocked, prevents an unlocking of the backrest adjustment fitting. The first interlock element, as a blocking lever, is connected to a transmission rod (60) for rotation therewith, to unlock the fitting. The unlocking lever has or interacts with a blocking element (36, 37) which, when the locking device; is unlocked, prevents a movement of the blocking lever for unlocking the backrest adjustment fitting.
