TRACK ASSEMBLY
A track assembly includes a support assembly, an electronic control unit and a track. The track may include a first track. The first track may include one or more segments. The one or more segments may include a plurality of first features. The support assembly may include a first sensor and/or a second sensor that may be connected to the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit may be configured to determine a first location of the support assembly along the one or more segments via the plurality of first features, the first sensor, and/or the second sensor. The first sensor and/or the second sensor may be disposed substantially in the track. The first sensor and/or the second sensor may be configured to sense information from the plurality of first features. The first features may include a first portion and/or a second portion.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a swivel assembly coupled to a seat base and a rail bracket. The swivel assembly can be external to an impact load-path and can include a ring gear and a spur gear.
NETWORK OF RAILS FOR A VEHICLE
A network of rails for a vehicle includes lateral rails that extend primarily along a lateral axis of the vehicle, longitudinal rails that extend primarily along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a circular rail that is positioned at a junction between the lateral rails and the longitudinal rails.
Seat rotating device
A seat rotating device for a vehicle includes: a plate used to support a seat; and a pair of guide rails arranged side by side in a vehicle width direction and supporting the plate. The guide rails each have a fixed rail and a sliding member that supports the plate and is slidable along the fixed rail. The plate includes guides that guide each of the sliding members. The guides are configured such that the plate rotates while causing the sliding members to move in directions opposite to each other or the plate rotates based on movement of the sliding members in directions opposite to each other.
Seat tracking system
A seat tracking system includes a longitudinal tracking member mechanically coupled to a first portion of a seat, and a tracking block mechanically coupled to a second portion of the seat. The tracking block includes a bore that is adapted to receive the tracking member, such that the tracking member slides within the tracking block to enable the first portion and the second portion to slide longitudinally with respect to each other. At least one stand is mechanically coupled to the second portion of the seat and has a through-hole that is adapted to receive a lateral tracking member, which is mechanically coupled to the first portion of the seat. The lateral tracking member enables the first portion and the second portion to slide longitudinally with respect to each other. A swivel plate mechanically couples the at least one stand to a seat base such that the seat is rotatable.
SEAT RAIL MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
The structure for mounting a seat rail includes a floor panel constituting the floor of a cabin; a seat rail disposed on the upper surface of the floor panel; and a retainer for supporting the floor panel at a position where the seat rail is present thereabove with the floor panel in-between. The seat rail, the floor panel, and the retainer are attached to one another with a bolt and a nut (a first attachmenting portion) at a position where the seat rail, the floor panel, and the retainer are placed overlapping one on the other. The floor panel is welded on the retainer at a position (a second attachmenting portion) away from the first attachment portion. The retainer has a bead formed between the first attachment portion and the second attachment portion. The bead extends along the longitudinal direction of a seat rail.
SEAT RAIL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE AND A VEHICLE COMPRISING A SEAT RAIL SYSTEM
A seat rail system for a vehicle. The seat rail system includes an upper rail and a stationary lower rail attached to a floor structure of the vehicle. The upper rail is configured for being attached to a vehicle seat and the upper rail is movably arranged in relation to the lower rail in a longitudinal vehicle direction. The seat rail system further includes an elongated load member attached to the lower rail, where an upper part of the load member is extending into a lower portion of the upper rail. One or more lower parts of the load member are extending through the floor structure. The load member is configured for being directly in engagement with the floor structure and the lower portion in a vehicle impact event for establishing a load path from the floor structure to the upper rail via the load member.
Vehicle having transformable rear seat
A vehicle includes a cabin interior, a floor, and a tailgate at the rear end of the cabin interior, wherein at least a portion of the tailgate pivots between a vertical closed position and a horizontal open position. The vehicle has a first seat track assembly is supported on the floor in the cabin interior, a second seat track assembly supported on the tailgate, and a seat assembly. The seat assembly including a first seat panel, a second seat panel, a bracket that allows the first seat panel and the second seat panel to pivot between a forward facing position and a rearward facing position, and a guide supporting the bracket on one of the first and second seat track assemblies, wherein the seat assembly may slide rearward along the first seat track assembly onto the second seat track assembly when the tailgate is in the open position.
ENERGY ABSORBING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
An assembly includes a vehicle floor. The assembly includes a seat including a pedestal supported by the vehicle floor. The assembly includes a track supported by the vehicle floor. The pedestal is slidable along the track. The assembly includes an energy absorbing device supported by and slidable along the track. The energy absorbing device is between the track and the pedestal. The energy absorbing device is deformable relative to the track.
Vehicle seating arrangement
A vehicle seating arrangement includes a rail system that has a plurality of lateral and longitudinal rails. The vehicle seating arrangement also includes at least one seating assembly coupled to the rail system. The seating assembly includes one or more armrests coupled to a seat-base. The armrests are configured for articulation in a vertical direction relative to the seat-base. The armrests enable the seating assembly to transition between captains' chair, loveseat, and bed configurations.
