A vehicle seat having a drive device for driving a adjustment kinematics of the vehicle seat may have an adjustment arm, and a tensioning device. The drive device may have a pinion which can be rotated about a pinion rotation axis and which is in toothed engagement with a tooth segment of the adjustment arm. The tensioning device pretensions the adjustment arm so that the tooth segment is pretensioned in the direction of the pinion. The tensioning device has at least one sliding element which is in abutment with the adjustment arm. During an actuation of the height adjustment kinematics, the at least one sliding element slides along the adjustment arm. The sliding element is resiliently pretensioned by a resilient element.

VEHICLE

A vehicle includes: a vehicle body frame; a drive unit provided on the vehicle body frame and movable on a floor surface; a seat disposed above the vehicle body frame to support buttocks of a user; a lift unit provided between the vehicle body frame and the seat to raise and lower the seat between a low position and a high position; and an operation device provided on at least one of a left side portion and a right side portion of the seat. The operation device includes an operation panel having an operation surface that faces upward, a lever extending upward and forward from a rear portion of the operation panel, and multiple operation members provided on the operation surface. At least one of the multiple operation members is disposed in a position overlapping with the lever as seen from above.

The support member is provided to be displaceable vertically relative to the seat, and the support member is displaced such that a distance between the seat and the footrest when the seat is in the high position is greater than a distance between the seat and the footrest when the seat is in the low position.

Reduction gear and gear motor

A reduction gear may have a housing, a first gear stage and a second gear stage. The second gear stage may have an externally toothed first gear wheel and an internally toothed second gear wheel which meshes with the first gear wheel and is at least indirectly rotationally fixed to an output. The reduction gear may also have a circumferential eccentric, which is driven by the first gear stage, for driving a rolling motion from the second gear wheel to the first gear wheel. A torque support disc is guided in a linearly movable manner in a first direction along two sliding surfaces of the bearing point. A rib bears against the torque support disc and elastically pretensions the torque support disc in the direction of a further sliding surface of the bearing point. A gear motor having an electric motor may use the reduction gear.

Adjustment mechanism for vehicle seat, vehicle seat comprising such a mechanism

An adjustment mechanism for a vehicle seat comprising a transmission housing and a slider comprising a first longitudinal guide member. The slider engaging with the transmission housing by means of the first longitudinal guide member.

Seating assembly

A lift mechanism for a vehicle seating assembly comprises a gear assembly that includes a first gear and a second gear. A mounting bracket is fixedly coupled to a vehicle and shares a common axis with the first gear, wherein the first and second gears are positionable in a fixedly coupled arrangement at an initial location relative to the mounting bracket or at a final location relative to the mounting bracket, such that, when the first and second gears are in the fixedly coupled arrangement at the initial location relative to the mounting bracket, the seating assembly is in a sitting position, and when the first and second gears are in the fixedly coupled arrangement at the final location relative to the mounting bracket, the seating assembly is in a standing position.

Lifter device

A vehicle seat is provided with a wire that, in the event of a vehicle frontal collision, enables a pulling load applied by a vehicle occupant to a webbing to be transmitted between a cushion frame of a seat cushion and a movable rail of a sliding device. One end portion of the wire is anchored to a first anchoring member of the movable rail, while another end portion of the wire is anchored to a second anchoring member of the cushion frame.

Base frame for a vehicle seat as well as a vehicle seat

A base frame for a vehicle seat comprising two lateral parts and swing arms pivoting in relation to the lateral parts. The base frame can be height adjusted by pivoting the swing arms. Pivoting the swing arms can be caused by operating at least one actuator arm. The actuator arm is rotatably mounted on an anchor point on one of the swing arms so that the swing arms, upon operation of the at least one actuator arm, can be pivoted along a direction of adjustment about a pivot point and, thereby, the lateral parts of the base frame are movable in a direction of height adjustment.

Pivoting seat assembly

A seat assembly includes a base frame supporting a lift mechanism. A seatback is operably coupled to a seat portion. The seatback and the seat portion are vertically adjustable as powered by the lift mechanism. The seat portion is pivotally coupled to the seatback by a support bracket for rotational movement between first and second positions. A seat frame of the seat portion is vertically juxtaposed over the lift mechanism when the seat portion is in the second position.
