A baby carrier system is disclosed herein. The baby carrier system includes a baby carrier and a waist strap. The baby carrier includes a main body, a baby securing system, and shoulder straps. The waist strap may preferably be detachable and adjustable. In some embodiments, the baby carrier system may be a multi-functional baby carrier system that includes a multi-functional baby carrier configured for use as a car seat insert, where the multi-functional baby carrier includes fastener slits that allow for a car seat harness to secure a baby when the fastener slits are unfastened.
Child safety seat and assembly system warning device thereof
An assembly system warning device includes a first assembly member, a second assembly member, a main circuit, a power supply, an alarm device, a first circuit, a first switch, a second circuit and a second switch. When the first assembly member is located at an assembly position and the second assembly member is located at an idle position, the main circuit and the second circuit are connected in series to form a closed circuit. When the second assembly member is located at an assembly position and the first assembly member is located at an idle position, the main circuit and the first circuit are connected in series to form a closed circuit.
Locking harness
A retainer apparatus including a first retainer portion, a second retainer portion, a wireless transceiver, and a sensor. The sensor includes a first sensor portion physically contained within the first retainer portion and a second sensor portion physically contained within the second retainer portion. The first retainer portion is removably attached to the second retainer portion. The sensor is configured to detect the first retainer portion being disconnected from the second retainer portion and generate a warning signal. The wireless transceiver is configured to wirelessly transmit the warning signal to a controller in a vehicle to activate an audible warning alert to warn a user in the vehicle of the first retainer portion being disconnected from the second retainer portion.
Child safety seat with a triggerable harness belt tensioning mechanism
The invention relates to a child safety seat (100) comprising an integral harness belt (106) for restraining a child in the child safety seat (100), a deflector (102) for the harness belt (106), an elastic mechanism (104) adapted for forcing the deflector (102) from a first position (114) to a second position (112), the harness belt (106) being guided by the deflector (102), wherein due to the guidance by the deflector (102) the harness belt (106) length available for buckling in the child is shorter in the second position (112) than in the first position (114), a latch mechanism transferable between a blocking position and a release position, the latch mechanism being adapted for blocking in the blocking position the deflector (102) against a movement toward the second position (112) and for releasing in the release position the deflector (102) for a movement induced by the forcing toward the second position (112), a release mechanism adapted for transferring the latch mechanism from the blocking position to the release position upon receiving a trigger signal, and a force-transmitting element (116) coupled to a motion element (130), the force-transmitting element (116) being adapted for transmitting a motion force from the motion element (130) to the deflector (102) that acts to force the deflector (102) from the second position (112) to the first position (114).
CHILD CARRIER, AND BUFFER ASSEMBLY FOR A SAFETY BELT
A child carrier having a carrier body for carrying a child; a safety belt connected to the carrier body) the safety belt being capable of restraining the child seated in the carrier body; and a buffer assembly connected to the carrier body and the safety belt, the buffer assembly configured to generate a buffering movement responsive to the child carrier being subjected to an impact or sudden deceleration. Responsive to the child carrier being subjected to an impact or sudden deceleration, the buffer assembly connected to the safety belt can generate a buffering movement under the action of inertia, thereby absorbing some of the energy of the impact or sudden deceleration and preventing the safety belt from exerting an excessive restraining and pulling force on the child.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT FOR ATTACHING TO A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a child safety seat for attaching to a motor vehicle seat, comprising a seat region, a back portion, an impact shield, the impact shield comprising an integrated airbag and/or an airbag being provided in the seat region, an acceleration-sensing device for sensing an acceleration of the child safety seat, and a control device, which is configured in such a way that the airbag is deployed on the basis of an acceleration sensed by the acceleration-sensing device.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat body, and a restraining harness coupled to the seat body. The seat body has a front surface and a rear surface opposite to each other, the front surface being adapted to provide support for a child placed in the seat body. The restraining harness includes a restraining belt and an adjusting buckle coupled to each other, the restraining belt having a front belt portion extending in front of the front surface and a rear belt portion extending behind the front surface, the adjusting buckle being provided on the rear belt portion and being operable to adjust a length of the front belt portion.
SUPPORT BASE FOR A CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A support base for a child safety seat includes a shell, a belt clamp and a latching mechanism. The shell is adapted to receive a child seat thereon, and has a belt anchoring region including a first surface and a second surface. The belt clamp is pivotally connected with the shell, and is operable to clamp a first belt portion and a second belt portion respectively adjacent to the first surface and the second surface. The latching mechanism is operable to lock the belt clamp in a clamping state.
QUICK-ACTING BELT TENSIONER FOR A CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A quick acting belt tensioning mechanism for securing a child safety seat into a vehicle having a tensioning member with a hook-like engagement structure rotatably mounted on the safety seat adjacent to a belt path for a vehicle seat belt. Engaging the seat belt in the engagement structure and rotating the tensioning member by movement of the lever tensions the seat belt by wrapping the seat belt around the tensioning member. The lever is slideably disposed on the tensioning member to close the opening of the hook-like structure and prevent disengagement of the seat belt therefrom and to inhibit rotation of the tensioning member to the tensioned position unless the lever is properly positioned. A latching mechanism is provided to restrain the tensioning member and lever in the tensioned and closed position. The seat shell and lever may include structures to further constrain seat belt tensioning unless the lever is properly positioned.
Switchable retractor
A switchable retractor system includes a retractor with a spool. The spool is rotatable in an extension direction for extending a web and in a retraction direction for retracting the web. A first clutch has an engaged state where the first clutch inhibits rotation of the spool in the extension direction and a disengaged state where the first clutch allows rotation of the spool in the extension direction. A release actuator actuates the first clutch into the disengaged state when actuated by a user to allow extension of the web. A second clutch has a locked state where the second clutch inhibits rotation of the spool in the retraction direction and an unlocked state where the second clutch allows rotation of the spool in the retraction direction. A tension actuator actuates the second clutch into the unlocked state when actuated to allow retraction of the web into the retractor.
