Seat for vehicles

A seat for vehicles includes: a seat back frame; and a pressure receiving member that is mounted on the seat back frame to support a back of an occupant. The seat back frame includes a lower seat back frame and an upper seat back frame mounted on an upper portion of the lower seat back frame in a forwardly and rearwardly swingable manner, and the pressure receiving member is disposed from an area corresponding to the shoulder of an occupant to an area corresponding to the waist of the occupant and is supported by the upper seat back frame.

Active head restraint

An active head restraint for a seating assembly of a motor vehicle comprises a structural support for a seatback of the seating assembly, a movable head restraint pad having a stowed position and a deployed position, and a linkage deployment mechanism. The linkage deployment mechanism comprises an upper and lower bar pivotally attached at a forward end to a rear surface of the movable head restraint pad and pivotally attached at a rearward end to an outer tube fixed to an upper portion of the structural support. An inner tube reciprocates within the outer tube. A trigger mechanism is operatively connected with a lower end of the inner tube and urges the inner linkage and an actuating link to a raised deployed position in response to a rear impact event. The actuating link applies an upward force to the lower bar to deploy the movable head restraint pad.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat including a controller configured to, in a case where an excessive external load in a front and rear direction, by which a first back frame part is configured to be pressed and bent toward a second back frame part, is applied to the first back frame part, adjust an inclination angle of each back frame part by driving and controlling a reclining adjuster so that the first back frame part can be pressed against the second back frame part by being bent due to the excessive external load, the first back frame part being one of a front back frame part and a rear back frame part of a seat back, and the second back frame part being another of the front back frame part and the rear back frame part.

Seat structure of vehicle

A headrest which supports a head portion of a passenger in a vehicle rear collision is attached to an upper portion of a frame of a seatback. A blower to perform ventilation for a passenger's back is arranged at the upper portion of the frame at a position below the headrest. The blower is held at the frame via attaching members, for example. When receiving a large rearward-load from the passenger in the vehicle rear collision, the blower moves rearward relatively to the frame and the headrest according to a rearward move (a rearward swing around an upper frame, particularly) of the attaching member and the like.

KINEMATIC BACK PANEL

A seating assembly for a vehicle includes a seat having a seat cushion assembly. A seatback is pivotally coupled with the seat and includes a seatback cushion assembly. A polymeric hard back panel is operably coupled with the seatback and includes a recessed portion. A controlled deformation portion includes a rupture line configured to split during a rear impact collision of the vehicle, resulting in flaps of the controlled deformation portion extending rearward relative to the seatback. The controlled deformation portion is generally concealed from rearward view by a pocket wall.

VEHICLE SEAT, AND HEADREST SUPPORT DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame. The vehicle seat includes a suspension mat disposed within the seat back frame. The vehicle seat includes a linking member that elastically supports the suspension mat at the seat back frame. The vehicle seat includes a bushing that is disposed at an upper portion of the seat back frame. The vehicle seat includes a hollow stay inserted into the bushing, the stay protruding upward from the upper portion of the seat back frame. The vehicle seat includes a headrest fixed at an upper end of the stay. An upper end of the linking member is inserted into the stay from a lower end of the stay that is inserted into the bushing.

Vehicle seat having an elevation mechanism and a cushion frame with rigid portions

Realized is a vehicle seat capable of improving the rigidity of a cushion frame with respect to a load input to a seat back while suppressing an increase in weight and size of the cushion frame. In a vehicle seat including a height adjustment mechanism which is driven to adjust the height of a seat cushion and a brake mechanism which maintains the height of the seat cushion when the height adjustment mechanism is not driven, the brake mechanism is connected to a second connection portion different from a first connection portion connected to the seat back in the cushion frame, and reinforcement portions and which extend in a direction from the first connection portion toward the second connection portion are provided between the first connection portion and the second connection portion in the cushion frame.

Safety device for vehicle seats

A vehicle safety device for reducing whiplash in a vehicle includes a curved guide configured to allow a seat to slide thereon, an impact sensor that can detect an impact on a rear end of the vehicle; and a locking mechanism that can allow the seat to slide on the curved guide when an impact is detected by the impact sensor. The locking mechanism can prevent the seat from moving relative to the curved guide when there is no impact detected by the impact sensor.

Provided is a seat frame for a vehicle seat capable of supporting the back of a seated person during a rear-end collision by using a simple structure and few component portions. The seat frame includes a top frame portion on the top of the seat, lateral frame portions on the right and left of the seat, and a connection frame connecting the tops of the lateral frame portions to bridge them. The connection frame includes a bent protrusion portion bent in the longitudinal direction and arranged in a standing condition from a surface formed by the connection frame, at a position between a pair of the lateral frame portions. The bent protrusion portion is provided over the entire length of the up and down direction of the connection frame.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat with a child seat may have an engagement member, comprising anchors to hold the child seat. Each anchor may have a pair of left and right side bars and a front bar coupled to the side bars. The front bars are engaged with the engagement member. The side bars are secured by brackets to a connecting pipe of the seat cushion or the seatback. Each recess may be made in a pad. A trim cover may have openings each above the recess. The engagement member may have a bifurcated shape and has a groove engaged with the front bar. The connecting members, having one end connected to a trim cover terminal behind the opening and the other end engaged with the bracket, may be wound around the connecting pipe and stretched between the bracket and the trim cover terminal, each drawing the terminal into the recess.
