Seat rotating device of autonomous vehicle
A seat rotating device of an autonomous vehicle is provided. The device includes a floor panel on which a plurality of members configuring load paths during a collision are formed. A rotating unit is rotatably installed on the floor panel while supporting a seat and integrally rotates with the seat, and connects the load paths with the members formed on the floor panel.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes a swivel assembly coupled to a seat base and a rail bracket. The swivel assembly can be external to an impact load-path and can include a ring gear and a spur gear.
Adjustable vehicle seat assembly
A vehicle seat assembly is provided with a seat bottom pivotally mounted to an actuator and a vehicle floor. A controller is in electrical communication with the actuator and programmed to receive input indicative of a seating position angle, and input indicative of a potential vehicle impact. A signal is output to the actuator to pivot the seat to a nearest one of the plurality of predefined seat orientations if the seating position is not one of the plurality of predefined seat orientations when the input indicative of the potential vehicle impact is received. The signal is not output to the actuator if the seating position is one of the plurality of predefined seat orientations when the input indicative of the potential vehicle impact is received. The plurality of predefined seat orientations is offset radially at sequential increments.
Motor vehicle seat rotation mechanism
A motor vehicle seat rotation mechanism includes a connecting plate connected to a seat, a moving plate, located below the connecting plate and connected to the connecting plate, and a fixed plate, located below the moving plate and connected to an upper slide rail in a seat slide rail assembly. An upper ball assembly is located between a press plate and the moving plate. A lower ball assembly is located between the moving plate and the fixed plate. A lower anti-detachment hook ring is located between the connecting plate and the fixed plate and fixed to the fixed plate. An annular lower anti-detachment hook is provided at an inner edge of the lower anti-detachment hook ring. An annular upper anti-detachment hook is provided at an outer edge of the moving plate. The lower anti-detachment hook and the upper anti-detachment hook are engaged with each other.
VEHICLE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT DEVICE
The invention describes a vehicle occupant restraint device for the protection of a vehicle occupant (2) in a vehicle seat (6) comprising plural restraining elements and a controller, wherein at least one first restraining element comprises an airbag module (28) including an airbag (22) and at least one second restraining element comprises a seat belt (4) including a belt retractor, with the seat belt (4) being operatively connected with a tensioning unit. The controller includes at least one sensor element for determining the position of the vehicle seat (6) so that, in a situation of restraint, the controller differentiates between a first situation in which the vehicle seat (6) with the vehicle occupant (2) is in a position within the range of a standard position relative to the airbag (22) of the first restraining element, and a second situation in which the vehicle seat (6) with the vehicle occupant (2) is in a position beyond the standard position, and, when the first situation is given, the controller activates the first and second restraining elements only, especially the tensioning unit for tensioning the seat belt (4) of the second restraining element and the airbag (22) of the first restraining element, whereas, when the second situation is given, a third restraining element integrated in the vehicle seat (6) and/or operatively connected with the vehicle seat (6) can be activated and/or connected by the controller so that the vehicle seat (6) is moved initially via the third restraining element to a position within the range of the standard position.
Vehicle Seat Console
A vehicle seat console includes at least one vehicle-side guide element and at least one seat-side guide element arranged parallel to the vehicle-side guide element. A length-adjustment device, which is acted on by a drive device and which is designed to bring about a relative displacement between the vehicle-side guide element and the seat-side guide element, is designed such that the length-adjustment device is provided between the seat-side guide element and a force-limiting apparatus, which is in turn coupled to the vehicle-side guide element.
SEAT ASSEMBLY ACTUATABLE FOR POTENTIAL VEHICLE IMPACT
A vehicle seat assembly is provided with a seat bottom that is adapted to be mounted to a vehicle floor. A seatback is adapted to be pivotally mounted adjacent to the seat bottom. An actuator is in cooperation with the seat bottom or the seatback. A controller is in electrical communication with the actuator and programmed to receive input indicative of a potential vehicle impact. In response to receiving the input indicative of the potential vehicle impact, the controller outputs a signal to the actuator to tilt the seatback, or to tilt the seat bottom.
CONTROLLER, VEHICLE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIA
According to various aspects, a controller includes one or more processors configured to: determine when a predicted event occurs, at which a velocity of a vehicle is changed; and provide an instruction for a reorientation of one or more seats of the vehicle based on when the predicted event occurs.
Occupant safety systems
Occupant safety systems suitable for use in both traditional and opposed seating systems include various combinations of passive safety components: sensors that provides an output signal indicative of an imminent collision, seats selectively moveable relative to seat support structures in response to the output signal, inflatable restraints deployable from lap portions of a tensioned restraint based on the output signal, airbags deployable from a roof of a vehicle based on the output signal, cabin dividers deployable from a side of a cabin of the vehicle or the roof of the vehicle based on the output signal, and curtain airbags deployable between an occupant and the side of the cabin of the vehicle based on the output signal.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is provided with a wire that, in the event of a vehicle frontal collision, enables a pulling load applied by a vehicle occupant to a webbing to be transmitted between a cushion frame of a seat cushion and a movable rail of a sliding device. One end portion of the wire is anchored to a first anchoring member of the movable rail, while another end portion of the wire is anchored to a second anchoring member of the cushion frame.
