The purpose of the present invention is to provide a headrest to be infallibly locked when returned from a forward tilted position to a using position, without requiring high part accuracy and assembly accuracy. A vehicle seat headrest (4) according to the present invention, having: a stay (402) held on the seat back side; and a headrest main body (4A) supported forward rotatably from a using position with respect to the stay (402), includes: a locking mechanism (500) that fixes a rotation position of the headrest main body (4A) with respect to the stay (402) in the using position; and a stopper mechanism (600) that is not engaged with a regulation part in the using position, but is engaged with the regulation part when the headrest main body (4A) is tilted backward from the using position, to regulate backward tilting of the headrest main body (4A).

A vehicle head restraint assembly includes a base portion coupleable to a vehicle seat back, the base portion including a cross member portion. Also included is a head restraint operatively coupled to the cross member portion and rotatable about the cross member portion. Further included is a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a lock surrounding the cross member portion and fixed in a non-rotatable manner thereto. The locking mechanism also includes a lock slide having at least one lock tooth engageable with the lock, the lock tooth moveable relative to the lock between a locked condition and an unlocked condition.

A reversible seat for an automotive vehicle having a head restraint which rotates between a forward-facing position and a rearward-facing position as the seat is moved between the forward-facing position and the rearward-facing position. The head restraint folds towards the seat back as the reversible seat passes through the peak of its locus to increase clearance with a headliner of the automotive vehicle. The head restraint returns to an upright rotated position as the seat reaches the opposing position.

A reversible seat for an automotive vehicle having a head restraint which rotates between a forward-facing position and a rearward-facing position as the seat is moved between the forward-facing position and the rearward-facing position. A headrest assembly is provided herein. A mounting assembly is pivotally coupled to a seatback. A frame is movably coupled to the mounting assembly. A locking device is coupled to the mounting assembly and is movable between an unlock position to enable at least one of translational displacement and rotational displacement of the frame, and a lock position to retain the frame in a selected position.

A headrest assembly is provided herein. A mounting assembly is pivotally coupled to a seatback. A frame is movably coupled to the mounting assembly. A locking device is coupled to the mounting assembly and is movable between an unlock position to enable at least one of translational displacement and rotational displacement of the frame, and a lock position to retain the frame in a selected position.

In the vehicle seat headrest, a resin lower cover (408), having an opening (408a) through which the stay (402) is inserted, covers a lower surface of the headrest main body (4A).

A headrest includes a headrest body which is tiltably supported by a stay held on a seat back, a lock part which locks the headrest body in a non-tiltable manner, and a lock release part which releases lock of the lock part. The lock release part includes an operation button to be pressed, a biasing member which biases the operation button in an opposite direction to a pressing direction of the operation button, and a bezel which has a cylinder wall and a bottom wall for containing the operation button to be movable back and forth in the pressing direction, and is provided with a locking part which locks the operation button biased by the biasing member to hold the operation button in the cylinder wall. The locking part is provided in the bottom wall.
