HEADREST
A head rest is provided that can secure backward view when it is not used, and enable adjustment of its front-and-rear position in use. A head rest is rotatable from a rearmost position to a stored position in which the head rest is tilted down forward. When the head rest is in a use range from the rearmost position to a forward adjustment limit position located in front, the tilting angle of the head rest is adjustable with in-use tilting-angle adjustment means, and the head rest can be rotated forward to the stored position and rotated backward to the rearmost position with unlock means. By contrast, when the head rest is in the stored position, forward rotation and backward rotation of the head rest are regulated with storage backward rotation regulating means, and the head rest can be rotated backward to the rearmost position with unlock means.
FOUR-WAY RATCHETING VEHICLE HEAD RESTRAINT ASSEMBLY
A head restraint assembly includes a base, a head restraint having a housing, and an internal cavity at least partially defined by the housing. Also included is a lock mechanism assembly disposed within the internal cavity, the lock mechanism assembly comprising a first lock member and a second lock member, the first lock member including a plurality of teeth and the second lock member including a single lock tooth, wherein the plurality of teeth and the single lock tooth are engageable with each other and selectively rotatable with respect to each other. Further included is an actuator arm engaged with the second lock member, actuation of the actuator arm required to selectively permit rotation of the second lock member relative to the first lock member in one direction, wherein disengagement of the plurality of teeth and the single lock tooth is not required to rotate in another direction.
Seat headrest
A seat headrest having at least one side cushion, a base and a plurality of headrest connection points for use in conjunction with existing, standard car headrests. The seat headrest may have a first side cushion and a second side cushion to provide head and neck support by serving as headrests on the sides of a users head. The user may be any individual in a passenger vehicle.
FOLDABLE HEADREST SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE SEAT
A foldable headrest for a vehicle seat includes a headrest assembly including a headrest and a frame with a section. A housing has a pair of side plates, each with a with a groove, and the section of the frame extends through the grooves. A rotating plate is engageable with the section of the frame. A lock lever is engageable with the rotating plate to hold the rotating plate and the headrest in position. A link/cable is connected with the lock lever to move the lock lever to allow the rotating plate and the headrest assembly to rotate.

SEAT HEADREST
A seat headrest comprising: a headrest frame (12) having: a lower frame part (14) configured to be attached to a seat back; an upper frame part (24) pivotally attached to the lower frame part at a pivot point to be moveable between a fully open position and a folded position; and a locking mechanism (40) at the pivot point to releasably lock the upper frame part relative to the lower frame part in the fully open position and the folded position, the locking mechanism including a release member (42) for operation by a user to release the lock to enable the upper frame part to be pivoted relative to the lower frame part.
AUTO-FOLDING HEADREST FOR A VEHICLE
An auto-folding headrest for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a base bracket assembly configured to be fixedly installed on a seat frame constituting a seat of the vehicle; a stay assembly rotatably connected to the base bracket assembly and configured to support the headrest of the vehicle; a locking assembly provided on the base bracket assembly and configured to be changed into a locked state or an unlocked state to fix or release a rotation of the stay assembly; and a sliding bar coupled to the locking assembly and configured to change the locking assembly into the locked state or the unlocked state by a sliding operation.
