Adjustment system for optical assemblies designed especially for motor vehicle headlights
The adjustment system comprises at least one pair of adjustment apparatuses. For each optical assembly, one adjustment apparatus is adapted to turn the optical assembly around the turning axis (; ) independently of the other optical assembly. The adjustment system further comprises an additional adjustment apparatus connected to a first adjustment apparatus and adapted to transfer its movement to the movement of this adjustment apparatus; and a connecting member connected to the additional adjustment apparatus and to a second adjustment apparatus at the same time, and adapted to transfer the movement of the additional adjustment apparatus to the movement of the second adjustment apparatus (. If the additional adjustment apparatus is connected to the first adjustment apparatus and the connecting member is connected between the additional adjustment apparatus and the second adjustment apparatus, turning movement of one optical assembly will automatically induce a turning movement of the other optical assembly.
VEHICULAR LAMP
A vehicular lamp capable of stably supporting a light source unit and adjusting an optical axis by an optical axis adjusting mechanism is provided. A holder for a light source unit is supported to be tiltable relative to the bracket, and an optical axis adjustment mechanism has three support points supporting the holder relative to the bracket, and includes a first pivot portion located at a first support point among the support points and supporting the holder so that the holder is tiltable relative to the bracket, a second pivot portion located at a second support point and supporting the holder so that the holder is tiltable relative to the bracket, and an actuator located at a third support point and adjusting a tilt of the holder relative to the bracket vertically. In the front view, the first, second, and third support points are located outside the light source unit.
HEADLIGHT HOUSING
A headlight housing comprises an adapter having an adapter opening, a plurality of attachment members extending from the adapter, a mount within the adapter opening coupled to the adapter with a pivot member that permits the mount to pivot within the adapter opening about an axis, the mount having a mount opening adapted to receive a headlight inserted into the mount, and an adjuster attached to the adapter for applying force to the mount to cause the mount to pivot within the adapter.
Headlight for motor vehicles
A headlight for motor vehicles including a supporting housing adapted for securing an optical unit. The optical unit is in the inner space of the supporting housing mounted on three displaceable mounting nodes, each of which includes one system point and the system points are grouped together constituting a system triangle, whereby at least some mounting nodes are coupled to adjusting members located in the outer space of the supporting housing. A primary mounting node is provided with means for turning the system triangle without changing the position of a primary system point, a secondary mounting node is provided with means for changing the position of a secondary system point in the horizontal plane and a tertiary mounting node is provided with means for changing the position of a tertiary system point in all directions of the coordinate system.
ADJUSTING SCREW
An adjusting screw (1) for adjusting a position of a headlight, comprising: a screw element (2) having a larger diameter at one end (2a) and a smaller diameter at another end (2b), and a counter element (3) with an area having a larger diameter (3a), wherein the screw element (2) and the counter element (3) are designed such that the end (2b) of the screw element (2) with the smaller diameter can be connected to the counter element (3), and wherein the screw element (2) comprises in a area with a smaller diameter a profile (4) and a corresponding method.
Straddle-type vehicle
A straddle vehicle which turns in a bank state in which a vehicle body is rotated around an axis extending in a vehicle length direction, includes a head lamp unit which is disposed at a front portion of the straddle vehicle and emits a light beam with which a forward region of the vehicle body is irradiated; a cornering lamp unit which is disposed at the front portion of the straddle vehicle, provided separately from the head lamp unit, and turned on in the bank state; and a duct member included in an engine air-intake system, wherein the cornering lamp unit is disposed below the head lamp unit and below an air-intake inlet of the duct member.
ARC MODULAR LIGHT DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Arc modular light devices, systems, and methods. In at least one exemplary embodiment of a module system of the present disclosure, the module system comprises a plurality of LED modules, each LED module comprising an outer housing, a light source positioned within the outer housing, and a lens positioned so that light from the light source can be emitted through the lens; and a plate configured to couple to each of the plurality of LED modules; wherein the module system is configured to focus light from the LED modules inward when the plate has a concave curvature; and wherein the module system is configured to spread light from the LED modules outward when the plate has a convex curvature.
Motor vehicle lighting device having a lens-free appearance
The invention relates to a light device for a motor vehicle, the device including a housing, members for fastening the housing to a body of the motor vehicle, a plate arranged in the housing and supporting at least one light module, a device for manually adjusting the orientation of the housing relative to the fastening members of the motor vehicle, arranged outside the housing, and a device for dynamically adjusting the orientation of the plate relative to the housing, arranged inside the housing.
ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING A LIGHT MODULE IN A VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE
An adjusting device for adjusting a light module in a vehicle lighting device. The adjusting device includes an adjusting mechanism into which a rotary motion can be transmitted. The adjusting device also includes a transmission element that can be used to transfer the rotary motion. The adjusting mechanism and the transmission element are connected in a way that transmits torque via a coupling that provides torque overload protection. The adjusting mechanism is embodied with at least two parts and features a first part into which a rotary motion can be transmitted and it features a second part that is embodied as a part of the coupling.
Illumination device
Provided is an illumination device mounted in a vehicle. The illumination device includes: a light source; a projection lens unit having a projection lens; a support member that supports the projection lens; a shaft portion including a pivot axis that extends in a direction intersecting with an optical axis; a shaft holding portion that holds the shaft portion to be pivotable around the pivot axis; a screw member provided to be rotatable around a rotation axis that extends in a direction different from the optical axis; and a conversion mechanism that converts a rotating motion of the screw member around the rotation axis into a pivoting motion of the shaft portion around the pivot axis. The screw member and the conversion mechanism are positioned farther away from the optical axis than the shaft portion and the shaft holding portion in the direction intersecting with the optical axis.
