ATTACHMENT MEMBER, AND SEAT EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAG MODULE
An attachment member allowing a connected state between the attachment member and a guide member to be more easily checked is provided. The attachment member for attaching a stay cloth, which guides a deployment direction of an airbag module, to a seat back frame has a holding portion which includes a holding space for housing an attachment portion of the stay cloth. The holding portion is inserted into an attachment hole to be fitted into the attachment hole that is formed in the seat back frame. A through-hole which allows the attachment portion of the stay cloth in the holding space to be exposed in a penetrating direction of the attachment hole is formed in the holding portion.

Side airbag device
A side airbag device having an airbag cushion that restrains an occupant by expanding and deploying and an inflator disposed on an inner side of the seat frame that supplies expansion gas to the airbag cushion; and a holding part that holds the airbag cushion. The airbag cushion includes an inner expanding portion internally containing the inflator and an outer expanding portion connected to the inner expanding portion and is disposed on an outer side of the seat frame by being folded back at a front edge portion of the seat frame. The outer expanding portion includes a folded portion of the airbag cushion. A forward portion of the holding part contacts an outer surface of the folded portion of the outer expanding portion, and a rearward portion is connected to the seat frame. Furthermore, the holding part is configured to cover a part of the outer expanding portion.
VEHICLE OCCUPANT PROTECTION DEVICE
A side air bag device restraining an occupant at the early stage of the deployment. A seat back has a side support part bulging in a vehicle forward direction at a side part in a vehicle width direction. A seat frame of the seat is provided inside the seat. The side air bag device has an air bag deploying to restrain an occupant and an inflator supplying inflating gas. A side frame part of the seat frame is inside the side support part, and the side air bag device is on an outer side of the side frame. The air bag has a main chamber deploying forward and to an outer side of the side support part and a sub-chamber deploying inside the side support part. The sub-chamber deploys further toward a forward side than a vehicle forward edge of the side frame, at least a front part of the side support part protrudes and deforms toward an occupant side.
Side airbag device
A side airbag device includes: an inflator configured to inject gas into an airbag; a case including a mount wall for the inflator to be mounted thereto; an inflator anchoring member provided on a side of the mount wall opposite to an inflator side and attached to the inflator by a mounting member with the mount wall held between the inflator anchoring member and the inflator; an outer covering material configured to cover the case; a restriction member fixed at a position around a seam of the outer covering material and configured to restrict a direction of deployment of the airbag; and an engaging portion provided at an end portion of the restriction member and configured to engage with the case, the engaging portion being located in place at the case, to thereby be restricted in movement.
Structure for deploying seat side airbag
A structure for deploying a side airbag installed in a seat of a vehicle is provided. The structure includes an interior pad is disposed adjacent to a first side of a side airbag and an exterior portion surrounded by an interior covering. An exterior pad is disposed adjacent to a second side of the side airbag and has an exterior portion surrounded by an exterior covering. An interior reinforcing fabric penetrates a pad aperture portion formed between the interior pad and the exterior pad and surrounds a first side of the side airbag. An exterior reinforcing fabric is integrally coupled to the exterior covering and surrounds the exterior portion of the exterior pad. The interior reinforcing fabric is spaced apart from the interior covering and disposed in a path different from a path of the interior covering. The collision performance is easily adjusted and production costs and weights are reduced.
BACKREST FOR A VEHICLE SEAT AND VEHICLE SEAT WITH THE BACKREST
A backrest for a vehicle seat having a backrest side rail for supporting a side of a body of an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat, having an airbag and having a gas generator for protecting the occupant, having a hard cover housing for arrangement on the backrest side rail, wherein the hard cover housing in a lateral plan view is designed as a half shell arranged along a longitudinal extent of the backrest side rail with two longitudinal edges spaced from one another, wherein the airbag and the gas generator can be pushed in and/or are pushed in between the two longitudinal edges.
VEHICULAR SEAT
A vehicular seat capable of reducing a tensile force, which acts on a sewing thread in a webbing sewn part, enables desired expanding operation of a side air bag in the case of emergency. The vehicular seat has an air bag body, provided in the side part of the seat back, which tear-opens the extending part of the trim cover by expansion, to expand from the seat back. A wrap-sewn part, with its terminal end wrap-folded, is provided at an end sewn to the trim cover. The wrap-sewn part has an overlap part where the webbing is overlapped, and a non-overlap part provided at an end of the overlap part in a direction along a sewing line of sewing to the trim cover. The wrap-sewn part is sewn over the overlap and the non-overlap part with respect to the trim cover.
Airbag device and passenger protecting device
An airbag device has an airbag. The airbag has a front-rear chamber and an airbag main body. The front-rear chamber has a left and right pair of front-rear extending portions that pass by respective left and right sides of a head of a passenger seated in a vehicle seat and inflate and deploy toward the seat front side, and a connecting portion connecting front end portions of the pair of front-rear extending portions in a seat left-right direction. The airbag main body inflates and deploys toward a side of the passenger at a seat rear side of the connecting portion, later than the front-rear chamber. At a time when the passenger is restrained, the airbag main body is compressed in a seat front-rear direction while stretching the front-rear chamber in the seat front-rear direction.
