AIR BAG MODULE
The invention relates to an airbag module comprising a housing (14) for an airbag (16) and a cover (12), the housing including a fabric part (14) which at least partly encloses the airbag (16), characterized in that means (20; 30; 60) for fastening the housing (14) which are formed integrally with the cover (12) are provided and in that the fabric part (14) is arranged directly on the fastening means (20; 30; 60).
Touch sensor and airbag cover integrated input device
A touch sensor usable in a portion which an airbag comes out of, such as the center portion of a steering wheel, and an airbag cover integrated input device including the touch sensor are provided. More specifically, a touch sensor attached to an airbag cover provided outside the airbag, and having end portions that form an insertion portion which the airbag passes through during the deployment of an airbag system is provided. Moreover, an airbag cover integrated input device in which the airbag cover has a thin wall portion that tears open during the deployment of the airbag system, and the end portions of the touch sensor are placed along the thin wall portion of the airbag cover is provided.
DRIVER AIRBAG COVER WITH EMBLEM
A side airbag cover (20) having a top surface (22) upon which can be positioned a decorative emblem (30), the top surface (20) and emblem (30) are configured to break when subjected to a determinable force pressuring on an undersurface (25) of the cover (20), the undersurface (25) including a tear seam (40) which breaks when subjected to a determinable pressure or load, the emblem (30) having its own tear seam (50), wherein the emblem tear seam (50) is displaced laterally relative to an adjacent portion of the tear seam (40).
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH SIDE-IMPACT AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT MECHANISM
A vehicle seatback assembly includes an outer shell coupled to a seatback carrier via a releasable coupling arrangement. The releasable coupling arrangement can take various forms in order to securely couple the outer shell to the seatback carrier. A seatback frame is disposed between the seatback carrier and the outer shell in assembly. An airbag module is coupled to the seatback frame, and the releasable coupling arrangement is configured to release upon deployment of an airbag from the airbag module to define a peripheral gap between the outer shell and seatback carrier through which the airbag can be deployed.

Safety apparatus for vehicle
A safety apparatus for a vehicle includes a coupling device to couple an airbag device with a cowl cross bar. The coupling device includes a plurality of mounting brackets coupled with the cowl cross bar while being spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance, mounting b locks coupled with the mounting brackets, and fitting members protruding from an outer bottom surface of the housing and fitted on the mounting blocks.
Knee airbag device
A knee airbag device including an airbag cushion, a storage case in which is formed a horizontally long opening part where the expanded and deployed airbag cushion pops outs, a first flap for covering the airbag cushion exposed through the opening part such that the airbag cushion is retained in the storage case, and having a first weak part that breaks when pressed by the airbag cushion during expansion and deployment, and a second flap, which is a component with a larger dimension in a length direction than the first flap and for covering an outer surface of the first flap so as to transverse in a short direction of the opening part a center part of the airbag cushion in a lateral direction, the second flap having a second weak part that breaks when pressed by the airbag cushion after rupture of the first weak part.
AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
An airbag assembly includes an airbag cushion to be deployed downward and having an insertion hole formed in an upper end portion thereof and a mounting tab inserted into the insertion hole and fixed to a vehicle frame. The mounting tab is folded around a center portion thereof while inserted into the insertion hole, sides opposite to the center portion are fixed to each other so that the airbag cushion is hung on the mounting tab, and the mounting tab is rotatable in a state in which the airbag is hung thereon.
COVER ELEMENT, AIRBAG MODULE, DASHBOARD, VEHICLE SAFETY SYSTEM AND METHOD
The invention relates to a cover element for an airbag module comprising a tear line and at least one hinge area for opening the cover element by swiveling at least one flap which is formed by the tear line when the cover element is opened, wherein at least one stiffening rib having a weakened material portion extends between the tear line and the hinge area. The cover element excels by the fact that the weakened material portion is configured on the side of the hinge area.
