The present invention relates to an illumination apparatus in which a light source module 100 is mounted on a steering wheel 10, an illumination element 200 is mounted on a driver airbag cover 20, and the light of the light source module 100 is transmitted to the illumination element 200 through an optical fiber 300. When the driver airbag cushion is deployed due to an accident, it is possible to prevent the scattering of the light source module 100, thereby preventing injuries to the passengers due to the light source module 100, simplifying the structure of the driver airbag cover 20 and achieving weight reduction.

A driver side airbag device with an airbag module including a steering wheel, an inflator, and a cushion. The steering wheel includes a housing portion that stores the airbag module; and a cover member that seals the housing portion. The cover member has a design region on an occupant side, and a thin-walled portion formed from an upper portion region to a lower portion region of the design region that is cleaved open by an expansion pressure of the cushion to open cover doors. A driver airbag apparatus for vehicle with an illumination emblem, capable of preventing the deployment pressure of an airbag cushion 10 from being directly transmitted to a cover hinge part 43 of an airbag cover 40, thereby preventing the cover hinge part 43 from being broken due to the deployment pressure of the airbag cushion 10 and the departure of the illumination emblem 50 from a driver airbag module, by using a guide support 60 installed to cover the cover hinge part 43 of the airbag cover 40 at an inner position of the illumination emblem 50.

A driver airbag module with a lighting device installed in a steering wheel of a vehicle is proposed. The driver airbag module includes an inner cover extending in a direction of a plane parallel to the steering wheel and having an accommodation space recessed downwards; an emblem panel accommodated in the accommodation space to be disposed in an upper portion of the inner cover and integrally coupled with the inner cover; a lighting device accommodated in the accommodation space to be disposed between the emblem panel and the inner cover; and an outer cover extending in the direction of the plane parallel to the steering wheel and integrally coupled with an upper surface of the inner cover while covering the emblem panel and the inner cover.

A driver airbag module with a lighting device installed in a steering wheel of a vehicle is proposed. The driver airbag module includes an inner cover extending in a direction of a plane parallel to the steering wheel and having an accommodation space recessed downwards; an emblem panel accommodated in the accommodation space to be disposed in an upper portion of the inner cover and integrally coupled with the inner cover; a lighting device accommodated in the accommodation space to be disposed between the emblem panel and the inner cover; and an outer cover extending in the direction of the plane parallel to the steering wheel and integrally coupled with an upper surface of the inner cover while covering the emblem panel and the inner cover.

A driver airbag with an emblem is proposed. The driver airbag with an emblem includes: a first cover mounted to a steering wheel; an emblem arranged on an upper portion of the first cover; a second cover having an emblem hole exposing a portion or all of the emblem upward, covering the emblem or the first cover from above the emblem, and coupled to the first cover or the steering wheel; and an airbag module coupled to the steering wheel below the first cover, and configured to deploy an airbag cushion toward a front portion of an occupant while rotating the first cover or the second cover during an operation thereof.

In some embodiments, a locking piece for coupling an emblem assembly to an airbag assembly may comprise a tapering slot narrowing in width, at least in part, from a first end of the tapering slot to a second end of the tapering slot defining a first fastener seat configured to engage a first fastener extending from a decorative emblem. The invention relates to a cover cap (10) for an airbag module (12), especially for a driver airbag module, comprising a front panel (14) including an outer face (16) as well as an opposed inner face (18) which in the assembled state of the airbag module (12) faces a folded airbag (20), and an emblem (22) including two separate emblem elements (24, 26) fastened to the front panel (14), wherein the front panel (14) has a tear line (32) along which the cover cap (10) tears upon activation of the assembled airbag module (12), and wherein the tear line (32) extends between the two separate emblem elements (24, 26). The invention relates to a cover cap (10) for an airbag module (12), especially for a driver airbag module, comprising a front panel (14) including an outer face (16) as well as an opposed inner face (18) which in the assembled state of the airbag module (12) faces a folded airbag (20), and an emblem (22) which is arranged and fastened at the inside of the front panel (14), wherein in the area of the emblem (22) the front panel (14) has an emblem opening (24) through which the emblem (22) is visible from the outer face (16) of the front panel (14), wherein the front panel (14) includes a tear line (26) along which the cover cap (10) tears upon activation of the assembled airbag module (12), and wherein the tear line (26) opens into the emblem opening (24) at an edge point (28) of the emblem opening (24). To provide an emblem having a high engagement force and a cover body for an airbag apparatus provided with the emblem by means of a simple configuration. Emblem body has pin. Pin has shaft section provided with rib and enlargement section formed to be enlarged on the distal end side of shaft section. Pin is inserted through an opening section formed in a cover main body section. Back plate has hole section into which pin is inserted. Back plate has elastic piece section formed at the inner edge of hole section and elastically deformable in the insertion/removal direction of pin with respect to hole section. Elastic piece section abuts against rib of shaft section.
