Assembly for attaching a trim element
An assembly for attaching a trim element (2) to a structural element (3) of a vehicle, between which a safety airbag (27) is inserted that is able to take a folded stand-by position, a deployed protection position and a deflated post-deployment position, the attachment assembly comprising primary attachment means that allows the trim element (2) to be held against the structural element (3) when the airbag (27) is in stand-by position, and secondary attachment means allowing the trim element (2) to be held when the airbag (27) is in protection position comprises, in addition, means for bringing the trim element (2) back toward the structural element (3) when the airbag (27) is in post-deployment position.

Airbag device
An airbag device includes an airbag, an airbag cover which covers the airbag, and a holder which holds the airbag and the airbag cover. The airbag cover includes a door portion which is pushed by the inflating airbag and opened with a hinge portion around a rotation center. A functional component is provided on the door portion and connected to and held by a deformable holding member. The holding member includes a distal side connecting portion connected to the functional component, a proximal side connecting portion connected to a part which can ensure an attachment strength, and a deformation portion which is provided between the distal and proximal side connecting portions and deformed to maintain a connection and holding state of the distal side connecting portion with the functional component and reduce a centrifugal force of the functional component acting on the hinge portion when the airbag is inflated.
Airbag device
An airbag device includes a curtain airbag deployed to a vehicle width direction outer side of an occupant seated in a vehicle seat; a front airbag provided at a front side of the vehicle seat, which is deployed to a vehicle front side of the occupant; an airbag housing, provided at the front side of the vehicle seat, in which the front airbag is housed before inflating; and an airbag door that covers the airbag housing from a cabin side and that is displaced toward a cabin side, in a case in which the front airbag inflates such that the cabin side of the airbag housing is opened. The airbag door includes plural door portions and the airbag device is provided with a limiting member that restricts tilting of a door portion that tilts about a hinge portion disposed at a vehicle width direction inner side of the airbag housing.
AIRBAG AND AIRBAG DEVICE
Provided are an airbag and an airbag device, which are capable of restraining a front passenger seat occupant moving obliquely forward. This airbag 1 is used for a front passenger seat and is inflated and expanded between the front passage seat and an instrument panel. The airbag 1 is provided with a main body 2 and also with a left sub-bag 3 and a right sub-bag 4, which are connected to the left and right side portions of the main bag 2. The left sub-bag 3 is inflated so as to protrude further rearward than the main bag 2. The upper surfaces of the left sub-bag 3 and the right sub-bag 4 are connected by a tie panel 5.

Tethered fastener apparatus and method
A tether fastening device for an automobile body structure includes a fastener clip, at least one tether strap, a tether clip bracket, a clip strap coupler, and a bracket strap coupler. The clip strap coupler operably couples to a slot in the automobile chassis. The tether clip bracket attaches to the fastener clip when in an attached position. The bracket strap coupler is attached to the body panel. The tether strap allows for controlled detachment between the clip strap coupler and the bracket strap coupler. The strap may include a mesh to absorb the deployment energy and decelerate the body panel in a controlled manner. In the event of an airbag activation, the tether clip bracket and the fastener clip initially accelerate and then decelerate from each other. The pair of tether straps control the deceleration and separation distance of the clip strap coupler and bracket strap coupler.

SIDE AIRBAG MODULE AND VEHICLE SEAT
A side airbag module for being attached to a seat frame (40) is described. Said airbag module has an inflator and at least one mounting stud (14) extending from said inflator. An airbag defining a gas space and being in fluid communication to said inflator is provided and is at least partially rolled and/or folded to an airbag package (20). The airbag package (20) is held by a wrapper (23) encircling at least a part of the airbag package (20). In order to simplify the mounting process of upholstery, at least one additional flexible flap (30) extends from the wrapper (23) and said additional flexible flap (30) has or carries at least one connection means for connecting the flexible flap to the frame (40) of a vehicle seat.
Clip
An airbag device attached to a vehicle body frame member and covered by a garnish is configured such that when a bag body is deployed, the airbag device pushes out the garnish to create a gap between the garnish and the vehicle body frame member to allow the bag body to be inflated out of the gap. A clip for securing the garnish to the vehicle body frame member includes a first member configured to be fixed to the vehicle body frame member, a second member configured to be fixed to the garnish, and a connecting member for keeping the first member and the second member connected when the airbag is deployed. The first member and the second member are provided with a first inclined planar surface and a second inclined planar surface, respectively, that are slidable relative to each other.
