Roof-mounted type airbag
An embodiment roof-mounted type airbag includes a housing to be mounted to a roof part, a center cushion foldable inside the housing and able to be vertically unfolded between facing seats of a vehicle, wherein the center cushion is pillar-shaped, a side cushion foldable inside the housing and able to be unfolded partially along a circumference of the center cushion, and an inflator connected to the center cushion or the side cushion.
OCCUPANT RESTRAINT DEVICE
An occupant restraint device including: right and left airbags stored inside right and left sides of a seat back of a vehicle seat, respectively; right and left tension cloths connected to outer surfaces of the right and left airbags, respectively; and a lower tension cloth disposed inside a seat cushion of a vehicle seat, the lower tension cloth being continuously connected between lower parts of the right and left tension cloths. The lower tension cloth is movable in right and left directions with respect to an occupant sitting in the vehicle seat. When the right and left airbags are expanded and deployed, the right tension cloth, the left tension cloth, and the lower tension cloth are configured to push the expanded and deployed right and left airbags toward the occupant.
Airbag housing for an airbag module
An airbag housing with a receiving space for a gas generator and an airbag, wherein the receiving space is confined at least by a bottom, side walls, and end walls connecting the side walls, and wherein a fastening section projects from at least one of the walls enabling the airbag housing to be fastened to a vehicle. The bottom, the side walls, the end walls, and the fastening section are formed from a single sheet metal blank.
AIRBAG DEVICE FOR KNEE PROTECTION
A case for housing an inflator includes a protruding region for storing a connector of a wire harness which is connected to an inflator body. A body of the wire harness extends from the connector in a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the inflator body. The protruding region protrudes from a circumferential wall of the case partially. The protruding region includes a stopper wall that is opposed to the connector as stored in the case in the axial direction of the inflator, and a pair of limiting walls that are engageable with the wire harness by the leading ends and thus limit an angle range with respect to the inflator body within which the wire harness is rotatable. The limiting walls each extend from the stopper wall and are disposed on both sides of the connector in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the inflator,
AIRBAG DEVICE FOR PANORAMA ROOF
An airbag device for a panorama roof may include: a roller disposed under a panorama roof and having a blind wound therearound, the blind serving to cover the panorama roof; a head liner covering the roller; an inflator disposed at sides of the panorama roof; a guide tunnel connected to the inflator to guide gas; and a cushion connected to the guide tunnel, and deployed by gas guided through the guide tunnel so as to cover the panorama roof.
AN AIRBAG UNIT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY DEVICE
An airbag unit for a motor vehicle safety device includes an inflatable airbag and a cover. The inflatable airbag is formed of flexible material and provided in a rolled and/or folded package. The cover extends around at least part of the package. The cover includes a first cover portion and a second cover portion. The first cover portion is located on a first side of the package, and at least a region of the second cover portion being located on an opposite second side of the package. The second cover portion is substantially flexible and is connected to or formed integrally with the first cover portion, and the first cover portion has a predetermined stable shape and is relatively rigid in comparison to the second cover portion.
VEHICLE SEAT
A seat includes an airbag module fixed to a seat frame, a trim cover including a breaking part which breaks according to an inflation and a deployment of an airbag of the airbag module, a first stay cloth and a second stay cloth which guide the inflating and deploying airbag to the breaking part, a first fixing member which is attached to the backside frame and stretches and supports the first stay cloth, and a second fixing member which stretches and supports the second stay cloth, in which the backside frame is provided with a pair of first attachment holes into which both end portions of the first fixing member are inserted and a pair of second attachment holes into which both end portions of the second fixing member are inserted.
SIDE AIRBAG WITH ACCORDION PELVIS FOLD
Side airbag cushions, side airbag assemblies and related methods for stowing a side airbag cushion in a cover to provide, upon deployment, improved timing of pelvis coverage for an associated vehicle passenger are provided. The side airbag cushion desirably includes a first rolled portion and a second accordion folded portion and, wherein, upon deployment, the accordion folded portion provides improved timing allowing for better pelvis coverage for the associated vehicle passenger
Airbag device and manufacturing method thereof
An airbag device includes: an airbag having an inflow opening for introducing an inflation gas and being formed in a folded body; a bag holder attached to a peripheral edge of the inflow opening; an airbag cover attached to the bag holder; and an inflator disposed by inserting an upper side in the folded body from the inflow opening, wherein: the airbag cover has a ceiling wall that covers an upper surface remote from the inflow opening of the folded body; the folded body is equipped with a housing recess that is capable of housing a top of a main body unit of the inflator; a part around the housing recess is supported by the bag holder; and a ceiling surface of the housing recess is formed as a shape in which a clearance is provided between the top of the main body unit of the inserted inflator.
