ROOF-MOUNTED AIR BAG
A roof-mounted airbag includes a cushion having a first chamber and a second chamber deployed downward from a vehicle roof while being inflated toward passengers facing each other, and a support chamber deployed between the first chamber and the second chamber and configured to push intermediate portions of the first and second chambers toward the passengers facing each other.
Airbag apparatus
To effectively retain a deployed airbag without increasing installation man hours, in addition to suppressing rotation of this airbag in a direction away from a seat. For example, a side airbag apparatus 1 installed inside a backrest SB of the seat S includes: an airbag 2; an inflator 3 provided inside the airbag 2; a tether 4; and a bracket 5. The airbag 2 is deployed in a first direction in which a base end side 2a thereof is attached to a seat back frame SBF and the tip side thereof is distant from the backrest SB. The tether 4 includes: one end 4a attached to the seat back frame SBF; and the other end which extends in the first direction on the outer surface of the airbag 2 in the deployed state so as to be attached to the part on the tip side 2b of the airbag 2. A bracket 5 is attached to the seat back frame SBF and provided in the direction in which the tether 4 extends. The tether 4 is supported by the front end of the bracket 5.
Roof mounted airbag
A roof mounted airbag is proposed. The roof mounted airbag includes: an airbag cushion having an upper portion fixed to a roof of a vehicle and configured to be expanded downward when gas is supplied therein; a vent hole formed on the airbag cushion, and configured to discharge the gas in the airbag cushion to the outside of the airbag cushion during opening of the vent hole; and a closing tether having a first end fixed to the roof of the vehicle, and a second end connected to the vent hole to close the vent hole when tension is applied thereto.
Vehicle center airbag
A vehicle center airbag may include a main cushion and a plurality of sub-cushions. The main cushion is mounted on a lateral surface of a seat back and is deployed in a forward direction, being positioned beside a passenger when a side collision occurs. The sub-cushions are configured to communicate with the main cushion and are deployed upwards from the top portion of the main cushion. When the sub-cushions are deployed, they extend in a forward-backward direction of the vehicle and are positioned above the torso of the passenger.
ROOF AIRBAG APPARATUS FOR MOBILITY
The present disclosure describes a roof airbag apparatus for mobility which protects the occupant seated in the cabin in such a manner that the roof airbag is deployed downward from the cabin roof, and safely protects the occupant from impact in such a manner that the occupant is securely restrained by the airbag as the deployment shape of the airbag is maintained.
Seat airbag apparatus for vehicle
A seat airbag apparatus for a vehicle is disclosed. A side cushion is deployed so as to protrude forward from a seatback in order to protect the lateral sides of an occupant, and a front cushion is deployed so as to protrude from the side cushion to the front of the occupant in order to protect the front side of the occupant. The deployment of the side cushion and the front cushion is limited by an upper dual-surface tether structure, formed by an upper-side surface tether and an upper-front surface tether, and a lower dual-surface tether structure, formed by a lower-side surface tether and a lower-front surface tether, thereby increasing force with which movement of the occupant is restricted, thus further enhancing an occupant protection effect.
Airbag assembly for a vehicle seat of a motor vehicle
A vehicle seat of a motor vehicle has a side airbag provided on the vehicle seat, and a tension band assembly which includes a first tension band and a second tension band. The first tension band has an upper end and a lower end. The upper end of the first tension band is fixed in the region of the upper end of the backrest of the vehicle seat while the lower end is arranged in the region of the seat surface of the vehicle seat. The second tension band has an upper end and a lower end. The upper end of the second tension band is fixed in the region of the head support on the vehicle seat while the lower end is rigidly connected to the first tension band below the upper end of the first tension band. The tension band assembly is rigidly connected to the side airbag.
SIDE AIRBAG DEVICE
A side airbag device capable of restricting an occupant from moving to the inner side in the vehicle width direction while restraining the head of the occupant is inflatable and deployable in a space beside an occupant seated in a vehicle seat. The side airbag device includes an inflator configured to generate a gas and a bag-shaped airbag inflatable and deployable in response to the gas upon activation of the inflator to protect a lateral portion of the occupant. The airbag includes a torso protection portion, and a head protection portion configured to be provided above the torso protection portion and inflatable and deployable between an upper portion of a shoulder of the occupant and a lateral portion of a head of the occupant. The head protection portion is bendable at an acute angle relative to the torso protection portion in an inflated and deployed state of the airbag.
CURTAIN AIRBAG FOR FAR-SIDE IMPACTS
An apparatus for helping to protect an occupant of a vehicle in the event of a far-side collision in which the vehicle is impacted on a side opposite the seat in which the occupant is seated includes a curtain airbag configured to inflate and deploy from a roof of the vehicle in response to a far-side collision. The curtain airbag has an inflated and deployed condition in which the curtain airbag is positioned inboard of the vehicle occupant.
Side airbag device
A side airbag device is to be attached to a side portion of a seat back and includes an inflator and a bag-shaped airbag. The airbag includes a first inflation part at which a gas ejection hole of the inflator is disposed and configured to be inflated and deployed beside a body of an occupant, and a second inflation part communicating with the first inflation part and configured to be inflated and deployed beside a head of the occupant. A portion of the first inflation part is configured to be inflated and deployed above a console box and to come into contact with an upper surface of the console box. In a state where the airbag is folded, the second inflation part is folded to overlap the first inflation part such that the second inflation part is arranged inward of the first inflation part in a vehicle width direction.
