A vehicle front section structure includes a hood; a front windshield glass; a cowl louver; a front pillar; a front side door; a wiper arm including an arm base portion; and a flow regulating member that is provided at the cowl louver, that is disposed in a wiper storage section at a vehicle width direction outer side and at a vehicle front side of the arm base portion in a state wherein arm base portion is stored in wiper storage section, and includes a vertical wall extending in a vehicle front-rear direction and an inclined wall disposed at the vehicle front side of arm base portion, in the state wherein the arm base portion is stored in wiper storage section, and extending out from a rear end portion of the vertical wall toward the vehicle width direction outer side and toward the vehicle front side along the arm base portion.

A support panel adjacent to the windshield opening has an upper surface and a lower surface with a first shaft opening. A wiper drive mechanism is supported to the vehicle body structure and extends along the lower surface of the support panel. The wiper drive mechanism includes a shaft housing and a wiper shaft pivotally supported within the shaft housing. A water diverting panel at least partially covers the wiper drive mechanism and is attached thereto and has a cylindrically shaped portion extending upward therefrom. The cylindrically shaped portion defines a second shaft opening with the shaft housing and wiper shaft extending upward through the second shaft opening and further extending upward through the first shaft opening. A filter member is mounted to the cylindrically shaped portion above the water diverting panel and below the support panel encircling the shaft housing.

A vehicle front section structure includes a hood; a front windshield glass; a cowl louver; a front pillar; a front side door; a wiper arm comprising an area base portion; and a flow regulating member that is provided at the cowl louver, that is disposed in a wiper storage section at a vehicle width direction outer side and at a vehicle front side of the arm base portion in a state in which the arm base portion is stored in the wiper storage section, and that comprises a vertical wall extending in a vehicle front-rear direction and an inclined wall disposed at the vehicle front side of the arm base portion, in the state in which the arm base portion is stored in the wiper storage section, and extending out from a rear end portion of the vertical wall toward the vehicle width direction outer side and toward the vehicle front side along the arm base portion.

A windshield glass peripheral structure is provided including a molding that couples a windshield glass with a cowl louver. The molding includes an attachment portion that is attached to an inner side of an upper end portion of the cowl louver, an interposing portion that is interposed between and seals between a lower end portion of the windshield glass and an upper end portion of the cowl louver, and has a leading end at a vehicle outer side making contact with a lower edge portion of the windshield, glass, and a joining portion. The joining portion extends in a vehicle width direction following, the lower end portion of the windshield glass, is formed with a water drainage portion cut out from a vehicle up-down direction upper end portion of the joining face further toward a vehicle width direction outer side than a wiper unit.
