METHOD OF MINIMIZING ICE BUILDUP ON A WINDSHIELD OF A VEHICLE
A method of minimizing ice buildup on a windshield of a vehicle is provided. The method includes the steps of: (a) monitoring a state of the vehicle; (b) determining a state of the windshield wiper; (c) determining an ambient temperature of the vehicle; and (d) initiating a timer when the state of the vehicle changes from an on state if the ambient temperature is below a threshold temperature and the state of the windshield wiper prior to the vehicle changing to the off state is an on state, and turning the windshield wiper to the on state after a period of time. The windshield wiper may remain on at least through a full cycle from a park zone, to a fully extended position, and back to the park zone. The wiper may remain on for a predetermined period of time determined based upon the ambient temperature or other condition.
VEHICLE GLASS CLEARING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A vehicle includes a glass clearing system that performs method of clearing a glass surface of a vehicle. The vehicle includes a glass surface. The glass clearing system includes a glass clearing device and a processor. The glass clearing device is configured for clearing a glass surface. The processor receives a signal from a remote device indicative of an instruction for operating the glass clearing device, selects the glass clearing device, and activates the glass clearing device to clear the glass surface based on the instruction.
Automatic vehicle window cleaning method and apparatus
An automatic vehicle window cleaning method and apparatus includes obtaining a vehicle window image; determining a dark channel image corresponding to a single frame of vehicle window image; further determining, based on a quantity of pixels whose gray values exceed a preset gray threshold in the dark channel image and/or definition of the dark channel image, that a first-type foreign object exists on a vehicle window, and/or determining, based on RGB values of pixels in i consecutive frames of vehicle window images, that a second-type foreign object exists on the vehicle window, and controlling a cleaning tool to remove a foreign object. The foreign object includes the first-type foreign object and/or the second-type foreign object.
VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, VEHICLE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle control method is provided for a vehicle having an ultra wide band (UWB) sensor configured to measure a rainfall value. The method includes waking up the UWB sensor in response to a trigger instruction for starting rainfall detection, to cause the UWB sensor to measure a rainfall value; acquiring the rainfall value measured by the UWB sensor; and controlling the vehicle to execute a preset control instruction action according to the rainfall value.
CLIMATE-BASED WINDSHIELD WIPER CONTROL
Disclosed is a wiper blade control system for a vehicle comprising: a wiper blade electronic control unit, a temperature sensor, at least one of a windshield monitoring camera, a windshield precipitation monitor, or combinations thereof, and a wiper blade elevation motor. The wiper blade electronic control unit is connected to the temperature sensor to the at least one of the windshield monitoring camera or the windshield precipitation monitor, to the wiper blade elevation motor, and to a vehicle transmission electronic control unit. Provided the vehicle is in park, the system raises a set of wiper blades off the windshield if the external temperature either exceeds a high temperature threshold or is below a low temperature threshold. The system also raises the wiper blades if snow or ice are detected on the windshield. The system lowers the wiper blades when the conditions are no longer met.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A CLEANING ASSEMBLY OF AN EXTERIOR SENSOR MODULE
A method for controlling a cleaning assembly of an exterior sensor module for a roof of a vehicle. The method including receiving a contamination signal; assessing whether a trigger threshold is triggered for initiating a cleaning cycle, and on triggering of the trigger threshold, initiating a cleaning cycle comprising at least one cleaning action by providing an activation signal to a cleaning assembly. Herein assessing the trigger threshold includes at least one of assessing a position of the contamination on the visor for satisfying a relevance condition, assessing size of the contamination for satisfying a surface condition; and/or assessing a vehicle speed for satisfying a speed condition. An exterior sensor module and a roof equipped with such a sensor are further provided.
NEW ENERGY AUTOMOBILE WINDSHIELD WIPER CONTROL METHOD, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A windshield wiper control method of a new energy automobile includes the following steps: when a windshield wiper controller is in a first wiping state, if the windshield wiper controller receives a high-speed gear signal sent by a windshield wiper control terminal or receives a rainstorm instruction sent by a central control display screen, the windshield wiper controller entering a rainstorm mode; when the windshield wiper controller is in a second wiping state, if the windshield wiper controller receives a rainstorm instruction sent by the central control display screen, the windshield wiper controller entering a rainstorm mode; wherein the rainstorm mode is used for indicating the windshield wiper controller to control the windshield wiper windshield wiper, the key area of the automobile windshield is wiped at the safety frequency.
POOR VISIBILITY DETERMINATION DEVICE
The poor visibility determination device includes a processor configured to determine whether or not a field of view in an imaging area of a camera that is mounted on a vehicle and captures surroundings of the vehicle is in a poor visibility state based on a plurality of images generated within a predetermined determination period by the camera, and set the determination period so that a length of the determination period when at least one visibility ensuring device for ensuring visibility of the field of view of the camera is operating is shorter than the length of the determination period when the visibility ensuring device is not operating.
Motor control device, motor device, wiper device, and motor control method
A motor control device which controls a motor having an output shaft includes a vehicle speed detection part and a driving control part. The vehicle speed detection part detects a vehicle speed, which is a traveling speed of a vehicle mounted with the motor. Based on the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detection part, the driving control part performs control of switching between a first driving mode which drives the motor, and a second driving mode in which a number of revolutions of the output shaft and an output of the motor are higher than in the first driving mode.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WIPER CONTROL BASED ON DRIVER GAZE DETECTION
A vehicle including a glazing, a wiper, a detection unit and a processor is disclosed. The detection unit may be configured to capture images of a vehicle interior portion and a vehicle surrounding. The processor may be configured to determine a precipitation intensity and that the vehicle may be in a stationary state. The processor may further determine that a user located in the vehicle interior portion may be looking out of the vehicle through the glazing based on inputs obtained from the detection unit, responsive to determining that the vehicle may be in the stationary state. The processor may further cause a wiper movement at a speed associated with the precipitation intensity, when the user may be looking out of the vehicle through the glazing.
