The invention relates to a wiping device, in particular a wiping device for a motor vehicle pane, comprising a wiper blade adapter (12a; 12b). According to the invention, the wiper blade adapter (12a; 12b) comprises a pivot bearing (26a; 26b) that is designed to pivotally mount a spring element (20a; 20b).

A front structure of a vehicle includes a front vehicle component and a wiper device installed on the front vehicle component. The wiper device includes a first supporting component and a second supporting component. The first supporting component rotatably supports a first wiper component and is installed at a first position in the front vehicle component close to a driver's seat side. The second supporting component is spaced apart from the first supporting component, rotatably supports a second wiper component, and is installed at a second position in the front vehicle component closer to a center side than the first position in a vehicle width direction. The front structure of the vehicle further includes a driver's seat side pedestrian airbag installed between the first position and the second position in the front vehicle component.

A front structure of a vehicle includes a front vehicle component and a wiper device installed on the front vehicle component. The wiper device includes a first supporting component and a second supporting component. The first supporting component rotatably supports a first wiper component and is installed at a first position in the front vehicle component close to a driver's seat side. The second supporting component is spaced apart from the first supporting component, rotatably supports a second wiper component, and is installed at a second position in the front vehicle component closer to a center side than the first position in a vehicle width direction. According to the present disclosure there is provided a wiper assembly for removing contaminants from a surface of a housing provided around a sensor, comprising: a drive system; a moveable part connected to the drive system to be driven by the drive system; and at least one wiper connected to the moveable part, wherein the drive system is configured to drive the moveable part, thereby to cause movement of the at least one wiper at least partially around the housing thereby to wipe the surface of the housing to remove contaminants therefrom. Further, according to the present disclosure there is provided: a sensor assembly comprising a sensor and a wiper assembly; a vehicle; and a method of operating a wiper assembly.

According to the present disclosure there is provided a wiper assembly for removing contaminants from a surface of a housing provided around a sensor, comprising: a drive system; a moveable part connected to the drive system to be driven by the drive system; and at least one wiper connected to the moveable part, wherein the drive system is configured to drive the moveable part, thereby to cause movement of the at least one wiper at least partially around the housing thereby to wipe the surface of the housing to remove contaminants therefrom. Further, according to the present disclosure there is provided: a sensor assembly comprising a sensor and a wiper assembly; a vehicle; and a method of operating a wiper assembly.
