COMPOSITE WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLY
An aircraft windshield wiper system includes a wiper arm, a wiper blade coupled to a first end of the wiper arm, and an output shaft coupled to a second end of the wiper arm. The wiper blade includes a support member coupled to a blade element through a clip and a fastener extending through the blade element. The support member can be made from a composite material and the clip and fastener allow for attachment of the blade element to the support member without piercing the support member.
Wiper blade and wiper arm
A wiper arm for use with a wiper blade, which is mechanically and detachably connectable to the wiper arm and to a wiper arm adapter by joining in an assembly direction using a wiper blade adapter, includes an electrical connecting element, disposed on a wiper arm side of the wiper blade adapter, configured to reversibly establish a connection to a second electrical connecting element on a wiper blade side of the wiper blade adapter. The connection between the electrical connecting element and the second electrical connecting element is formed along the assembly direction. The electrical connecting element and the second electrical connecting element are mounted floating. The electrical connecting element and the second electrical connecting element are mounted deflectable in a spatial plane oriented crossways to the assembly direction.
Windshield wiper blade
A wiper blade having a wiper strip having a wide portion and a lip, and an elongate backing element. The backing element having a top portion, and two opposing legs that descend from the top portion, such that each opposing leg has a claw which extends towards the other opposing leg. A gap formed between the claws that is narrower than a width of the wide portion of the wiper strip. The claws, legs, and top portion define a wiper strip cavity sized to receive the wide portion wiper strip.
Composite blade design
A windshield wiper system (WWS) blade assembly is provided. The WWS blade assembly includes a composite frame and a blade that has a length which is normally shorter than a corresponding length of the composite frame. The blade includes first and second ends attachable to corresponding first and second ends of the composite frame, respectively.
Windshield wiper assembly
A windshield wiper assembly for an automobile, comprising a wiper arm, a wiper blade, a plurality of double claw fixtures pivotally mounted onto the wiper arm and adapted to support the wiper blade on the wiper arm, and an actuator adapted to selectively induce rotation of the wiper blade along a longitudinal axis of the wiper blade relative to the wiper arm, each of the double claw fixtures adapted to rotatably support the wiper blade.
Multifunction windshield wiper with distribution of fluid and air assembled with flexible joints
A multifunction windshield wiper includes a wiper arm, a wiper blade holder, and a wiper blade to facilitate, through channels, the direct distribution of the liquid or an air on the windshield surface. The direct distribution of the liquid and an air maximize the wiping effect and minimizes their usage. The wiper arm is assembled with wiper blade holder within the flexible spherical joints to refine the contact with a curved surface during the operational movement of the windshield wiper in the different weather conditions. The windshield wiper arm has a flexible joint with the link arm to facilitate the tension on the windshield surface during the wiping process.
Support mount for a wiper blade, associated wiper blade and wiping system
The invention relates to a support mount (10) for a wiper blade, the mount (10) comprising a body having a main longitudinal extension direction, known as the main direction (X), the body comprising a first means for receiving a bending length and second means defining a lower housing (20), open, to hold an upper mounting stub for a wiper blade of the wiper, characterised in that the first means defines an upper housing (30) designed so as to cover the length along the main direction (X) and in that the upper housing (30) comprises a plurality of recesses (32, 32′, 32″) facilitating the bending of the mount (10), the recesses forming a pattern (M1-M10) on the surface of the upper housing (30), known as the recess distribution pattern (M1-M10). The invention also relates to a wiper blade comprising a mount (10) and a wiping system comprising such a wiper.
CONTAMINANT REMOVAL APPARATUS FOR WINDSHIELDS
A contaminant removal apparatus for windshields includes: driving belts located at both side surfaces of a windshield; a drive unit configured to apply driving force to the driving belts; a wiper assembly located on the windshield; rotary rollers configured to be shifted along the driving belts; idle gears located at ends of the driving belts to change a rotating direction of the rotary rollers; frame connection shafts coupled to both ends of the wiper assembly and located within the rotary rollers so as to contact the idle gears to change the rotating direction of the rotary rollers; and a controller configured to change a rotating direction of the rotary rollers when the idle gears and the frame connection shafts contact.
Variable curvature wiper
A variable curvature wiper comprises a wiper arm with a first and second distal ends. The first distal end is pivotally supported on a pivot post. A flexible wiper blade has a first end, a second end and a mounting hub. The mounting hub is pivotally attached to the second distal end of the wiper arm. A first push rod includes a first end attached to the first end of the wiper blade and a second end attached to a push rod pivot point. The push rod pivot point is spaced from the pivot post axis. Pivotal motion of the wiper arm about the pivot post axis in a first direction causes the first push rod to push against the first end and flex the wiper blade. Pivotal motion of the wiper arm about the pivot post axis in a second direction causes the first push rod to pull the first end of the wiper blade back toward a flat position.
WIPER BLADE AND VEHICLE WIPER DEVICE
A wiper blade wipes a wiping surface. The wiper blade includes a blade rubber that is disposed in contact with the wiping surface, a wiper case that holds the blade rubber, and a state changing member that is accommodated in the wiper case and rotatable in the wiper case. The state changing member is rotatable in the wiper case or movable in a longitudinal direction. The state changing member is configured to change a curved form or rigidity in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade in accordance with a curved form of the wiping surface when a rotational position or a longitudinal position of the state changing member is changed.
