Adapter for motor vehicle wiper blade mount
The invention relates to an adapter for a wiper blade mount, the adapter comprising a cover configured to accommodate, inside a central opening, a removable attachment system which allows subsequent temporary fastening of said adapter to an articulated wiper blade arm, when said adapter is implemented on a wiper blade. To this end, the removable attachment system comprises one or more mounting members which take the form of U-clips configured to be removably inserted in the central opening and held in this configuration by means of temporary fastening means. The invention also relates to a wiper blade comprising such an adapter mounted on a wiper blade mount.
Windshield wiper connector and assembly
Embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly may include a support structure, a wiper blade connector assembly for connecting the support structure with a wiper arm of a vehicle, a wiper blade cover fittable over the wiper blade connector assembly, and a wiper blade strip secured to the underside of the support structure. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover. The various embodiments of a wiper blade connector assembly permit the embodiments of the wiper blade assembly to be connected with a plurality of wiper arm types.
Windshield Cleaning Appliance and Cleaner Composition
Presently disclosed are embodiments of devices for expedient removal of insect and other debris from vehicle surfaces including windshields. A surfactant-based chemical impregnation of porous material is central to various tools used for such cleaning. Embodiments include a wiper attachment, tools for dispensing disposable chemically-impregnated pads, mitts, and wiper fluid formulations. A disposable windshield wiper blade attachment that incorporates chemicals that will expedite insect and other debris removal when attached to the wiper blades and the wiper action is performed. The attachment can take the form of fabric, foam, or other porous enclosure of synthetic or natural material that is impregnated with chemicals that will facilitate rapid removal of the windshield and automobile surface debris.
Blade guard for a wiper
The invention relates to a blade guard (1) for a wiper (100) of a vehicle (200), the blade guard (1) comprising a first part (11) and a second part (12), the first part (11) being configured to allow the blade guard (1) to be attached on the wiper (100), the second part (12) being intended to come into contact with a glazed surface (50) of the vehicle (200), characterized in that the second part (12) is configured to contain a product to be applied onto the glazed surface (50). The invention also relates to a wiper (100) comprising such a blade guard (1).
WIPER DEVICE
A wiper device (10) having a wiper arm adapter (16) and having a cover unit (30) which is mounted on the wiper arm adapter (16) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis (36) between an open position (34) and a closed position (32) and which, in the closed position (32), at least partially covers the wiper arm adapter (16) in relation to an environment. The cover unit (30), in the closed position (32), is displaceable translationally between an unlocked position (38) and a locked position (40).
WIPER BLADE
A wiper blade is presented having a wiper strip, a primary frame, and a pair of secondary frames. The primary frame having a connection device capable of connecting the wiper blade to a wiper arm disposed on a top side of the primary frame, and a connection structure disposed, on opposite ends of the primary frame. The pair of secondary frame, each have a central pivot connection portion and two leg portions extending from the central pivot connection portion, a pivot structure disposed on the central pivot connection portion of the secondary frames wherein the pivot structure of the secondary frames are connected to the connection structures on the ends of the primary frame. A wiper blade is also presented having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure having opposite ends, and a cover.
Windshield wiper blade
A wiper blade having a wiper strip having a wide portion and a lip, and an elongate backing element. The backing element having a top portion, and two opposing legs that descend from the top portion, such that each opposing leg has a claw which extends towards the other opposing leg. A gap formed between the claws that is narrower than a width of the wide portion of the wiper strip. The claws, legs, and top portion define a wiper strip cavity sized to receive the wide portion wiper strip.
Wiper blade with cover
A cover for windshield wiper blades having an elongate body with a central collar and first and second elongate portions extending from the central collar. The first and second elongate portions having outer ends, and the central collar defining an interior passageway having a snap-fit tongue. A channel is disposed along each of the first and second elongate portions extending from the central collar towards the outer ends; and an end retainer or other securing mechanism is located at the outer ends. Also, windshield wiper blades incorporating such covers.
Windshield Scrubbing System
A windshield scrubbing system for scrubbing insects and debris from a windshield includes a windshield wiper is mountable to a wiper arm of a vehicle for wiping across a windshield. A bag is positionable around the windshield wiper to frictionally engage the windshield. Moreover, the bag is comprised of an abrasive material to scrub insects and debris from the windshield. A wiping blade is coupled to the bag to contact the windshield. The wiping blade is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to remove precipitation from the windshield without abrading the windshield.
