WIPER UNIT FOR A WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A WIPER UNIT
A wiper unit for an automobile windshield wiper system has at least one wiper arm connectable to a wiper drive of the windshield wiper system and at least one wiper blade supported by the wiper arm. In order to provide a lightweight wiper unit that can be produced cost-effectively and offers greater design freedom, at least one fiber-reinforced nonmetallic strip is arranged on the outside of the wiper arm and/or the wiper blade. That nonmetallic strip extends over at least half the length of the wiper arm or wiper blade, is connected to the wiper arm or the wiper blade in a substance-bonded manner, and is arranged at least in part on a side of the wiper arm or wiper blade which is arranged facing or facing away from an automobile windshield which is to be wiped.
Windscreen wiper device
A windscreen wiper device comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped, which wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove, in which groove at least one longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed, which windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device for an oscillating arm, wherein said oscillating arm is pivotally connected to said connecting device about a pivot axis near one end thereof, with the interposition of a joint part, wherein said wiper blade comprises a spoiler at a side thereof facing away from the windscreen to be wiped, characterized in that a free end of said spoiler, facing towards an A-pillar of the windscreen to be wiped, is provided with a beveled surface, seen from the windscreen to be wiped.
Windscreen wiper device
A windscreen wiper device includes an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped, which wiper blade includes opposing longitudinal grooves on its longitudinal sides, in which grooves spaced-apart longitudinal strips of the carrier element are disposed. Neighboring ends of the longitudinal strips are interconnected respective connecting pieces. The connecting piece comprises engaging members engaging around the longitudinal strips, wherein the strips and the connecting piece are slidably connected by means of a snap connection. At least one pin extending in a direction perpendicular to the windscreen to be wiped engages the wiper blade at a location of a hole in one of the longitudinal strips to block longitudinal movement of the wiper blade relative to the strip in a longitudinal direction thereof away from the connecting piece.
Fastening device for a windscreen wiping device
The invention relates to a windshield wiper device (100) for a vehicle, comprising a wiper blade (2) having an elongated upper part (10) and an elongated lower part (12), which are configured to be flexible, at least in part. Furthermore, the device comprises a plurality of connecting elements (18) for connecting the upper part (10) and the lower part (12), which are spaced apart from each other along a longitudinal extension (8) of the wiper blade (2), and which are configured to allow a movement of the upper part (10) and the lower part relative to one another with a motion component along a longitudinal extension (8) of the wiper blade (2). The windshield wiper device (100) further comprises a fastening device. The fastening device comprises a wiper-blade-side fastening part (20) and a fastening element (50). The wiper-blade-side fastening part (20) and the fastening element (50) are configured in such a manner that, by means of rotation of the wiper-blade-side fastening part relative to the fastening element, an engagement can be formed in order to fix a position of the wiper-blade-side fastening part relative to the fastening element.
RUBBER WIPER BLADE ELEMENT WITH FRICTION REDUCING AGENT THAT CONTINUOUSLY MIGRATES TO THE SURFACE
A windscreen wiper device is provided including a longitudinally extending wiper strip of a flexible material. At least one carrier of a spring-like material operatively supports and biases the wiper strip into a predetermined configuration. The windscreen wiper device further includes a connecting device for connection with a wiper arm. The flexible material is formed of flexible material, such as rubber, with a friction reducing agent consisting of at least one amide distributed homogeneously throughout the flexible material. Upon vulcanization, a portion of the friction reducing agent migrates to an outer surface of the flexible material to form a friction reducing film having hydrophobic properties. The friction reducing film provides a low friction interface between the flexible material and a windshield under wet and dry conditions. The low friction minimizes the load on the wiper device and thus extends the life of the wiper device.
AN ELONGATED PACKAGE FOR A WINDSCREEN WIPER DEVICE OF THE FLAT BLADE TYPE
An elongated package (12) for a windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type, with the special feature that the package has a quadrangular cross-section having four walls enclosing four vertices, wherein the package has an internal partition wall (13) extending along the length of the package, wherein the partition wall forms inside the package two chambers (16, 17) having along their length an at least substantially triangular cross-section, wherein each chamber is arranged to hold a windscreen wiper device (18, 19) of the flat blade type, and wherein at least one vertex (14, 15) of the triangular chambers has an acute angle.
Wiper blade adapter unit
The invention relates to a wiper blade adapter unit with a wiper blade adapter (10), which is provided for a connection to a wiper arm adapter and has at least one receiving area (12, 14) having at least one contact surface (16, 18) provided for fastening at least one carrier element (20, 22) of a wiper blade. The invention states that the at least one contact surface (16, 18) has a maximum length of 20 mm.
