The connection device (1) comprises a base adapter (25) and at least one complementing adapter (26, 27), this base adapter (25) being equipped with at least one pivot member (50) connecting it to the connector (24), the base adapter (25) being configured to connect this connector (24) to a first type of driving arm, the base adapter (25) bearing at least one reference, the complementing adapter (26, 27) bearing at least one marking, a combination of the base adapter (25) and the complementing adapter (26, 27) generating a code visually associated with another type of driving arm, different from the first type of driving arm, from a combination of the reference and the marking.
WINDSHIELD WIPER CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLY
Embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly may include a support structure, a wiper blade connector assembly for connecting the support structure with a wiper arm of a vehicle, a wiper blade cover fittable over the wiper blade connector assembly, and a wiper blade strip secured to the underside of the support structure. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover. The various embodiments of a wiper blade connector assembly permit the embodiments of the wiper blade assembly to be connected with a plurality of wiper arm types.
Windscreen wiper device
The windscreen wiper device includes a wiper element and a carrier element. A base of a connecting device is fixedly attached with the carrier element, and a joint part is pivotably attached with the base. The joint part has a top wall and a pair of side walls and a button configuration for locking attachment with different types of oscillating arms. The button configuration includes a first button and a pair of resilient strips that extend from the side walls to the first button and bias the first button into a raised position. The resilient strips also allow the first button to move to a pressed position. A second button is attached with the first button, and the second button is pivotable about a living hinge from a first position, wherein the second button projects above the top wall, to a second position wherein the second button is recessed.
Wiper blade with modular mounting base
A wiper blade with a modular mounting base, having a wiper strip and a primary frame. The primary frame may be provided with a recessed portion having a base portion, a proximal end and a distal end, and may further be provided with a projection disposed on the proximal end, and with receiving holes on the base portion. The primary frame is capable of securing a mounting base having a bottom, a proximal end and a distal end such that one or more locking legs descending from the bottom of the mounting base can engage the receiving holes in the bottom portion of the primary frame, and such that the projection on the proximal portion of the recessed portion engages a guiding channel on the proximal end of the mounting base.
Windshield Wiper Connector
A windshield wiper connector having a peripheral wall having at least two opposing peripheral side walls, a top surface extending from one of the two opposing peripheral side walls to the other; and a channel formed in the top surface, and extending longitudinally along the top of the connector. The connector including a groove near to the proximal end of the connector and sized to be capable of engaging a trapezoidal roller of a wiper arm. The opposing peripheral side walls having a retaining pin aperture aligned with one another and sized to be capable of accepting a retaining pin of at least one pin-type windshield wiper arm. The channel on the top of the connector sized to be capable of accepting a bayonet style wiper arm. A wiper blade assembly having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure, and a connector as described above.
Wiper adapter and wiper assembly incorporating the same
An adapter for attaching to a wiper arm attachment member having a track defined by a base and walls depending therefrom, a bent tab extending outwardly from the base, and fins that extend from the walls. The adapter has a body with a first and second ends. A stop wall formed at the first end abuts the track. A pair of outer walls extend between the first and second ends. A strap connects the outer walls for engaging the base. A pair of inner walls are spaced laterally between the outer walls and are arranged at least partially under the strap. A cantilevered finger extends from each of the inner walls with a tab formed adjacent to the second end. The tabs extend away from each other and are arranged to engage respective fins to prevent movement between the adapter and the attachment member when the stop wall abuts the track.
