An adapter for connecting a wiper blade to a U-shaped front end hook of a wiper arm includes a front body with convex external profile, configured to be received in a concave front closed-end of the end hook, at least one branch which extends longitudinally towards the rear from the front body and which carries a single projecting locking stud intended to be received in a locking slot of the end hook, of the wiper arm, and at least two transverse notches for the longitudinal positioning of the adapter. The at least two notches are longitudinally offset relative to one another. One or another of the at least two notches collaborates with a transverse edge of the end hook according to a dimension of the end hook. The locking stud is configured to push against the end hook in a first longitudinal direction.

The arrangement of a nozzle on the wiper arm ensures that a cleaning fluid is quickly wiped off, the driver is given a clear field of vision, and the cleaning fluid usage may also be reduced.

The wiper arm has a wiper arm holder, connected at one end to an output portion of a driving mechanism for the wiper arm that drives the wiper arm to swing back and forth in an outward-swinging direction, an extension arm pivotally connected to the other end of the wiper arm holder, a wiper arm end member located on the side of the wiper arm opposite to the wiper arm holder and configured to hold a wiper blade, and a washer assembly having at least a first nozzle, and a first conduit in fluid communication with the first nozzle. The first nozzle includes a nozzle unit, a first connector for the first conduit, and a bridge channel located between them, above the blade. The bridge channel is partially aligned with a segment of the wiper arm end member that is located above the blade.

A streamlined flat windscreen wiper for a vehicle is disclosed. The flat wiper includes a longitudinal wiper blade, at least one longitudinal stiffening member, a longitudinal member for retaining the wiper blade and the stiffening member, a longitudinal streamlined portion having two terminal caps and a central mounting extending between the terminal caps and being connected thereto. The mounting has means for fixing to the stiffening member or to the member for retaining the stiffening member, and each cap includes means for guiding in translation terminal parts of the member.

A system and method are provided that enables windshield wiper blades to be replaced without the complexity of removing and reattaching adapters to the wiper arms with every wiper blade replacement cycle. The wiper blade adapter is reusable and stays connected to the windshield wiper arm while providing a simple connecting system that enables the attachment of the wiper blade to the base of the adapters. The adapters are made of engineered plastic that does not wear as quickly as the rubber squeegee and does not need to be replaced as often as the wiper blade. The reusable wiper blade adapter employs a simple mating connector on the wiper blade that provides for an intuitive motion to attach and detach from the base of the adapter thus providing for a simpler blade replacement process.

The cleaning fluid supply section is at an opposite side of a rubber holder from the windshield, extends from the nozzle body so as to extend across the rubber holder from the outward movement side toward a return movement side of the wiper blade, is connected to the hose, and supplies cleaning fluid to the nozzle body.
