A windshield wiper connector is disclosed for connecting a variety of wiper arms with a wiper blade. The connector may include a rotating cap as well as an adapter. The adapter may be inserted into a trapezoidal groove, and the adapter may have a pin passage for receiving a pin from a wiper arm. The groove may receive a trapezoidal roller from a wiper arm. The connector may include a channel, and a bayonet style wiper arm may be secured in the channel as well as by the cap and by a pillar projecting from the channel. Other similar wiper arms may be connected with a wiper blade using the disclosed inventive concepts. A wiper blade assembly having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure, and a connector is also disclosed.

A wiper device having a wiper arm and a wiper blade device, wherein the wiper blade device has a wiper strip, a spoiler, and a wiper blade, and wherein the wiper blade device furthermore has an adapter with a fluid inlet and two fluid outlets to conduct fluid into fluid channels of the spoiler. The adapter is of multi-part design such that the adapter has a first part, which has the fluid inlet, a first outlet region and a second outlet region. The first part furthermore has a deflection geometry for conducting a fluid entering the fluid inlet to the first outlet region and the second outlet region. The adapter furthermore has a second part and a third part, wherein the second part closes the first outlet region and has the first fluid outlet, and wherein the third part closes the second outlet region and has the second fluid outlet.

A wiper blade and a wiper. The wiper blade comprises a wiping strip and a connection structure, the connection structure comprising: an adapter fixed to the wiping strip, the adapter comprising a first side part and a second side part which are opposite each other, with a first surface and a second surface being disposed on the first side part and the second side part respectively; a connector, the interior of the connector having an opening, a foolproofing part facing the second surface, and a hole in communication with the opening; when the connector is fitted to the adapter in an opposite direction, the first surface obstructs the foolproofing part and the shaft cannot be hinged into the hole via the opening. The foolproofing part can prevent a wiper arm from being fitted to the wiper blade incorrectly.

The invention relates to a connection device (1) for a vehicle, intended to connect a wiper blade to a driving arm, comprising at least one connector configured to be secured to the wiper blade (12) and at least two adapters (25, 29), one of the adapters (25) being configured for connecting the connector (24) to a first type of driving arm, and a combination of the two adapters (25, 29) being configured for connecting the connector to a second type of driving arm (59), characterized in that each of these adapters (25, 29) comprises a locking member (85, 89) configured to lock the combination of the two adapters to the second type of driving arm (59), these locking members (85, 89) being superposed in order to secure the combination of the two adapters (25, 29) to the second type of driving arm (59).

The present invention relates to a connector (1) for a wiper blade, designed to be interposed between an adapter and a structural element of the wiper blade. The connector (1) extends longitudinally between a first longitudinal end (14) and a second longitudinal end (14). The connector (1) comprises at least one fixing block (22) configured such as mechanically to connect the connector (1) to the structural element of the wiper blade and a linking block (13) configured such as mechanically to connect the connector (1) to the adapter. The connector (1) comprises at least one skirt (23) that extends longitudinally from the fixing block (22). The skirt (23) comprises at least one rib (24) that extends between the fixing block (22) and one of the longitudinal ends (14).

A wiper arm for use with a wiper blade, which is mechanically and detachably connectable to the wiper arm and to a wiper arm adapter by joining in an assembly direction using a wiper blade adapter, includes an electrical connecting element, disposed on a wiper arm side of the wiper blade adapter, configured to reversibly establish a connection to a second electrical connecting element on a wiper blade side of the wiper blade adapter. The connection between the electrical connecting element and the second electrical connecting element is formed along the assembly direction. The electrical connecting element and the second electrical connecting element are mounted floating. The electrical connecting element and the second electrical connecting element are mounted deflectable in a spatial plane oriented crossways to the assembly direction.

The invention relates to an adapter intended to connect a wiper blade (7) to a drive arm (5) of a wiper system (800) for a vehicle, the adapter (IO0) comprising a head (I) and a body (2), the adapter (IO0) being formed by an upper wall (IO, 20) and two lateral flanks (I la, I lb, 2la, 2lb), the adapter (IO0) comprising a centring means (3) for centring in a vertical direction (Oz) perpendicular to the upper wall (IO, 20), characterised in that the centring means (3) is extended longitudinally by a guide member (9) configured to be engaged with the drive arm (5), the adapter (IO0) comprising a tab (4) configured to wedge the adapter (IO0) in the vertical direction (Oz). The invention is applicable to motor vehicles.

A wiper blade having a wiper strip having a wide portion and a lip, and an elongate backing element. The backing element having a top portion, and two opposing legs that descend from the top portion, such that each opposing leg has a claw which extends towards the other opposing leg. A gap formed between the claws that is narrower than a width of the wide portion of the wiper strip. The claws, legs, and top portion define a wiper strip cavity sized to receive the wide portion wiper strip.

A wiper blade assembly comprises a blade having upper and lower major surfaces, a wiper element extending from the lower major surface of the blade, a connector mounted on the upper major surface of the blade, and spoilers extending from opposite sides of the connector. The spoilers and the connector ore configured to positively engage each other. The spoiler includes a slice which will form a tear in the spoiler should the spoiler be moved axially relative to the connector to at least discourage reattachment of the spoiler should the spoiler be removed. The connector is a connector assembly comprising a connector base mountable to the blade of the wiper and an adapter which is separate from the connector base. The adapter is removably mountable to the connector base. Several different adapters are disclosed to allow the wiper assembly to be connected to different types of vehicle wiper arms.
