Windshield cleaning assembly
A windshield cleaning assembly for a vehicle includes a wiper that is operationally coupled to a wiper motor of a vehicle. A pipe is coupled to the wiper and extends from proximate to opposing ends of a blade of the wiper. The pipe has a first end that is closed. A pump is coupled to the vehicle is operationally coupled to an electrical circuit of the vehicle. A tank is coupled to the vehicle and is fluidically coupled to the pump. The tank is configured to position a fluid. A tube is fluidically coupled to and extends between the pump and a second end of the pipe. The pump is positioned to selectively pump the fluid from the tank through the tube and the pipe. The fluid exits the pipe under pressure through a plurality of holes to clean the windshield.
Motor vehicle window deicing fluid, deicing process and process for conveying the deicing fluid
The invention relates to a motor vehicle deicing fluid comprising: at least one alkali metal salt, the weight percentage of all of the at least one alkali metal salt, in the fluid, being between 0.0001% and 50%, and at least water, the weight percentage of water in the fluid being between 0.0001% and 99.9999%.
Control for passive wiper system
A system includes a dome, a wiper assembly, a position sensor and a control device. The wiper assembly includes a wiper blade configured to rotate around the dome. The position sensor may be configured to send a signal to a control device when a wiper blade passes the position sensor. The control device may include one or more processors configured to receive the signal from the position sensor and determine a location of the wiper blade relative to the dome based on the received signal.
WINDSHIELD TOUCH AND CLEAN SYSTEM
A cleaning device for a surface, such as a windshield of a vehicle, has a housing that holds a spray bar, rotatable brush and a wiper blade. An engagement mechanism moves spray bar, the brush, and the wiper blade out from a disengaged position within the housing to an engaged position outside the housing so that they can be used to clean, brush, and dry the surface. After the spray bar, brush, and wiper blade are used to, respectively, clean, brush, and dry the surface, the engagement mechanism then moves the spray bar, the brush, and the wiper blade to a disengaged position within the housing.
Wiper arm and vehicle wiper apparatus equipped therewith
A wiper arm includes an arm main body having a blade joining portion at a distal end side in a length direction of the arm main body; a first nozzle portion disposed at a proximal end side from the blade joining portion in the length direction of the arm main body; a second nozzle portion disposed at a distal end side from the first nozzle portion in the length direction of the arm main body; a first line hose; and a second line hose, wherein the second nozzle portion jets washing fluid toward a wiping direction forward side when the arm main body moves toward an upper turning position, and the first washer nozzle portion jets washing fluid toward a wiping direction forward side and further toward the proximal end side than a length direction center of the wiper blade when the arm main body moves toward a lower turning position from the upper turning position.
MOTORIZED WINDSHIELD SCOURER
A motor-powered windshield scourer for any type of a motor-powered vehicle and or motor craft. The motorized windshield scourer may have a motor propelled appendages or a singular appendage that have replaceable scouring attachments joined to the appendages. The motor that propels the appendages can be positioned anywhere on or in the motor vehicle/craft, whether under the hood, in the cabin or elsewhere. The motor driven appendages with joined scouring attachments may be mounted on the windshield of the vehicle directly opposite of the windshield wiper blades. When turned on, the motor may move the appendages with joined attachments in a side to side and/or up and down motion across the windshield. The appendages may include an unpliable metal such as: steel, titanium, tungsten, or inconel, and the scouring attachments may include nylon scouring pads or a vinyl coated mesh attached to and covering rubber or foam.

POWER HEAD OR POWER ARM ASSEMBLY FOR LINEAR RECIPRICATION OF WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE
A Power Head assembly includes a motor having a rotating shaft and a converter configured to convert rotational motion of the shaft to reciprocating linear motion. The Power Head assembly also includes a weatherproof housing configured to house the motor and an inner portion of the converter. The Power Head assembly also includes a receptacle configured to receive a windshield arm of the vehicle and a fastener configured to attach an outer portion of the converter to a windshield wiper blade directly or indirectly, causing the windshield wiper blade to reciprocate along the windshield wiper blade. The Power Head assembly also includes a controller control the motor of the Power Head assembly.
METHOD FOR A RETROFITTING OF A VEHICLE, METHOD FOR AN OPERATION, CLEANING APPARATUS, RETROFITTING SYSTEM, KIT, AND VEHICLE
A method for retrofitting a vehicle, which is equipped with a spray unit mounted to be fixed relative to a vehicle window of the vehicle, having a wiper comprising a further spray unit mounted to be movable relative to the vehicle window. The fixed spray unit comprises at least one pump, which is provided for supplying a cleaning fluid pressure for the fixed spray unit. In at least one installation step, the further spray unit of the wiper is connected to the pump of the fixed spray unit.
