VEHICLE CLEANER SYSTEM AND VEHICLE INCLUDING VEHICLE CLEANER SYSTEM
A vehicle cleaner system that includes a single pump and a plurality of cleaners which are connected to the single pump and clean different cleaning target objects with a cleaning medium is disclosed. The cleaning target objects include a sensor which detects information on outside of a vehicle and a cleaner control unit which operates the plurality of cleaners in accordance with input of a signal. The cleaner control unit is capable of operating the plurality of cleaners such that cleaning methods of the plurality of cleaners are different from each other.
Actuated Sprayer System
This technology relates to system for clearing a sensor cover. The system may include a sprayer, a support, and a positioning device. The sprayer may be mounted to the support and direct a flow of fluid to the sensor cover. The positioning device may be configured to adjust the position of the sprayer on the support. The system may include a nozzle and the nozzle may be positioned to direct the flow of fluid to an area of the sensor cover. The system may include additional sprayers.
VEHICLE CLEANING SYSTEM
A vehicle cleaning system is provided including a foreign object detection section configured to detect a foreign object present on a windshield, a foreign object removal device configured to clean the windshield to remove the foreign object, an actuation notification section configured to notify a user of actuation of the foreign object removal device, and a control section that, when the foreign object detection section has detected the foreign object, controls the actuation notification section so as to notify of actuation of the foreign object removal device before controlling the foreign object removal device so as to clean the windshield.
AUTONOMOUS CLEANING SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An electronically regulated cleaning system independently adjusted of the driver and adaptively to continuously variable operating conditions, for installation in a vehicle for cleaning at least one transparent element with a fluid cleaning agent, includes: at least one additive container storing additive for mixing with the cleaning agent, at least one electrically switchable metering device controlling mixing of the additive and cleaning agent, at least one electronic control unit adaptively controlling the electrically controllable components of the cleaning system, at least one cleaning agent filling level sensor monitoring the filling level of the cleaning agent and communicating with the electronic control unit, at least one freezing point sensor monitoring the mixture-dependent freezing point of the cleaning agent in the container and communicating with the electronic control unit, at least one surroundings temperature sensor monitoring the temperature of the surroundings outside the vehicle and communicating with the electronic control unit.
Sensor cleaning devices and systems
Sensor cleaning devices, methods, and systems are provided. Output from sensors of a vehicle may be used to describe an environment around the vehicle. In the event that a sensor is obstructed by dirt, debris, or detritus the sensor may not sufficiently describe the environment for autonomous control operations. In response to receiving an indication of an obstructed sensor, the sensor cleaning devices, methods, and systems described herein may proceed to remove the obstruction from the sensor.
SENSOR DIRTINESS DETECTION
An occluded area on a vehicle sensor is identified by localizing the vehicle in space. A discrepancy between historic image data and real-time image data from the sensor is determined, and a cleaning actuator is actuated based on the determined discrepancy.
Water-repellent coating applying system
An exemplary system for applying a water-repellent coating to the outside of a window of a vehicle includes at least one reservoir for a hydrophobic fluid, at least one wiper with a wiper blade, and a control device. A first line leads from the reservoir to the wiper. The first line extends at least over part of the length of the wiper and has, in the region of the wiper blade, at least one opening by way of which the hydrophobic fluid can be applied to the window. An exemplary method for applying a water-repellent coating to a window of a vehicle, includes, among other things, determining a status of the water-repellent properties of the window with reference to a threshold value of a quantity of water on the outer-facing surface of the window, transmitting a signal from the control device to initiate a communicating of a hydrophobic fluid from a reservoir to a wiper when the status indicates that the quantity of water on the window has reached the threshold value, communicating hydrophobic fluid from the reservoir to the wiper, distributing hydrophobic fluid on the window by means of a movement of the wiper.
CLEANING DEVICE AND ROOF MODULE WITH A CLEANING DEVICE AND MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A ROOF MODULE
A cleaning device for cleaning a see-through area of an environment sensor of a motor vehicle and for determining an operating-pressure-dependent functional state of at least one cleaning nozzle, the cleaning device having the at least one cleaning nozzle, which is configured to dispense a cleaning fluid. The at least one cleaning nozzle may have a pressure sensor configured to assume at least one position as a function of an operating pressure of the cleaning fluid at the cleaning nozzle and thus determine an operating-pressure-dependent functional state of the at least one cleaning nozzle, in particular as at least one measuring signal.
SYSTEM FOR CLEANING A GLAZED SURFACE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A system for cleaning a glazed surface of a motor vehicle including a liquid-spray cleaning device provided with a storage reservoir for storing cleaning liquid, an alternative cleaning device and a control module configured to selectively control the liquid-spray cleaning device and/or the alternative cleaning device. The cleaning system also includes a data acquisition unit configured to detect a qualitative or quantitative characteristic of the cleaning system, the control module being configured to control the liquid-spray cleaning device and/or the alternative cleaning device according to the qualitative or quantitative characteristic detected.
SENSOR SYSTEM
A cleaner for cleaning a transmissive portion of a sensor including a light receiving unit that receives light from a detection target via the transmissive portion is not operated by a cleaner control unit within a predetermined time after the drive of the cleaner is complete.
