Motor vehicle washer fluid distribution device and wiping system
The present invention relates to a washer fluid distribution device (1) comprising a connectors support (9) comprising a base (31) equipped with a fixing device (18) configured to hold at least one hydraulic coupling (7, 8) at a location on the base (31), characterized in that a housing (35) accommodating a heating element (36) of the distribution device (1) is formed in the connector support (9), a wall portion delimiting the housing (35) being intended to be in contact with the at least one hydraulic coupling (7, 8).
Windshield touch and clean system
A cleaning device for a surface, such as a windshield of a vehicle, has a housing that holds a spray bar, rotatable brush and a wiper blade. An engagement mechanism moves spray bar, the brush, and the wiper blade out from a disengaged position within the housing to an engaged position outside the housing so that they can be used to clean, brush, and dry the surface. After the spray bar, brush, and wiper blade are used to, respectively, clean, brush, and dry the surface, the engagement mechanism then moves the spray bar, the brush, and the wiper blade to a disengaged position within the housing.
Cleaning arrangement for cleaning a vehicle window
The invention relates to a cleaning arrangement (40; 40a-40d) for cleaning a vehicle window, with a wiper arm (10; 10a-10d) and with at least one hose (31, 32), fastened to the wiper arm (10; 10a-10d), for a cleaning fluid. It is provided according to the invention that the hose (31, 32) is connected by a form-fitting fastening, secure with regard to rotation angle, at least indirectly to the wiper arm (10; 10a-10d).
VEHICLE SURFACE CLEANING DEVICE
A vehicle surface cleaning device comprising a vehicle integrated housing including a nozzle carrier extendable from and retractable into the bodywork of a vehicle, said nozzle carrier being provided with at least one fluid nozzle, and comprising means for contactlessly heating the fluid nozzle while being in a retracted position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERCEPTION SURFACE CLEANING, DRYING, AND/OR THERMAL MANAGEMENT WITH FLUID RECIRCULATION
Systems and methods for cleaning, drying, and thermally managing vehicle components are described herein. In some embodiments, the vehicle components can include various sensors and, more particularly, the surfaces of cameras, LIDAR sensors, etc., that need to be clean to effectively perceive the environment around the vehicle. In one embodiment, a cleaning system includes a central delivery system configured to route fluid, such as washer fluid, along one or more delivery channels to remote holding chambers. The holding chambers can hold and/or heat the fluid before delivering the fluid to nozzles that spray the fluid on nearby vehicle components to clean the components.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERCEPTION SURFACE CLEANING, DRYING, AND/OR THERMAL MANAGEMENT WITH LOCALIZED HEATING
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERCEPTION SURFACE CLEANING, DRYING, AND/OR THERMAL MANAGEMENT WITH MANIFOLDS
WASHER LIQUID HEATING DEVICE
A washer liquid heating device is provided. The device includes a heating unit that is positioned at a lower end of a reservoir. A washer pump is connected to one end of the heating unit and a controller adjusts a heat generation of the heating unit. Accordingly, at least some of washer liquid contained in the reservoir flows into the heating unit and is then discharged to the washer pump.
Surface Wiper System
A surface wiper device which includes a carrier which supports a blade. The carrier attaches to a wiper arm which urges the blade against and moves the blade across the surface of a windshield. The carrier further provides a plurality of outlets each of which communicate between a hollow passage inside the carrier and a location on the external surface of the carrier. A fluid can be delivered from a fluid source fluidicly coupled to the hollow passage of the carrier under sufficient pressure to be dispersed from the plurality of outlets onto the windshield during movement of the blade. A fluid heater can be thermally coupled with the fluid delivered from the fluid source to the plurality of outlets to increase the temperature of the fluid dispersed onto the windshield. The fluid can be sufficiently heated to generate a heated gas.
Pipe for heating and transporting a washer fluid for a windscreen wiper blade with two spray lines, wiper device and method of manufacture
A pipe for heating and transporting a washer fluid for a windscreen wiper blade with a first spray line and a second spray line is disclosed. The pipe includes an extruded sleeve with at least two washer fluid circulation channels, in which sleeve at least two electric wires that are provided with heating elements of said pipe are embedded within the mass of the sleeve. In the pipe, the at least two electric wires are parallel to the at least two washer fluid circulation channels, the first washer fluid circulation channel is connected to said first spray line of the wiper blade, and the second circulation channel for the washer fluid is connected to said second spray line of the wiper blade.
