VALVE UNIT FOR MODULATING THE PRESSURE IN A PNEUMATIC BRAKE SYSTEM
The invention relates to a valve unit for modulating the pressure in a pneumatic brake system, comprising a brake pressure inlet, a brake pressure outlet, a vent outlet, a diaphragm inlet valve, a diaphragm outlet valve, and a pilot valve for each diaphragm valve, the pilot valves being arranged in an elongate valve housing (having a main housing and a housing cover. The inlet valve pilot valve and the outlet valve pilot valve are arranged substantially centrally above the diaphragms of the inlet valve and the outlet valve in the housing cover and with the actuation axes of the pilot valves running parallel to the parting plane, and the housing cover includes a central insert which has valve bores and control channels and into which the solenoids and the mechanical components of the pilot valves are inserted, the central insert being encapsulated with a plastic material.
Connection structure for electrical component assembly, hydraulic pressure control apparatus, and method for producing electrically conductive member
A connection structure for electrical component assembly including: an electrical component assembly provided with a coil energized through a pair of electrically conductive members; and a housing that covers the electrical component assembly and that is provided with housing-side connection terminals. The electrically conductive member has a connection terminal section connectable to the housing-side connection terminal. The connection terminal section is bent toward a side departing from the coil so as to protrude toward a side of the electrical component assembly, and one of the connection terminal sections is arranged at a position deviated in an axis direction of the coil relative to the other of the connection terminal sections.
Connection Device for a Pressure Sensor, Pressure Sensor, and Method for Producing a Connection Device
A connection device for a pressure sensor includes a supporting unit and a circuit board. The circuit board carries an electronic circuit having at least one of at least one electronic component and at least one electrical component. The supporting unit includes a multi-part main body that is electrically and mechanically connected to the circuit board via at least one soldered connection. The supporting unit further forms an external interface having at least one electrical contact point that enables tapping of at least one electrical output signal of the electronic circuit, and that is electrically connected to a corresponding contact point of the circuit board via an electrical connection. A pressure sensor includes such a connection device, and a method pertains to producing such a connection device.
BRAKE MODULATOR WITH MULTI-INTERFACE COVER PLATE
A brake modulator (1) for providing an ABS brake function to a vehicle (200) includes a main body (17), a first ABS valve unit (47) configured to provide a first brake pressure (pB1) and a second ABS valve unit (53) configured to provide a second brake pressure (pB2), and a main cover (19) for closing of an assembly side (27) of the main body (17). The cover portions (127, 131, 133, 135) for covering corresponding valve cavities (33, 35, 37, 39) are formed separately from a main cover plate (20) of the main cover (19). A relay valve cover plate (137) is formed integrally with or separately from the main cover plate (20). The present disclosure further relates to a commercial vehicle (202) and to an assembly method (300) for a brake modulator (1).
Electronic Treadle Valve
An electrically controlled valve for electrically controlling air brakes by releasing pressurized air at a controlled rate. The electrically controlled valve is useful for connecting a trailer with air brakes to a standard electrical connector on a towing vehicle that provides a proportional braking signal. The proportional signal is sent to the electrically actuated valve and a controller within the valve process the signal. When electrically actuated valve receives the proportional braking signal from the towing vehicle representing no braking force, electrically actuated valve to produce no air pressure to the air brake. When the electrically actuated valve receives the proportional braking signal from the towing vehicle representing full braking force, the electrically actuated valve provides air to the air brakes corresponding to full braking force of the air brakes.
