A blank for a package configured to retain an article therein can be configured to be wrapped around the article to form a circumferential case around the article and have a longitudinal length longer than the article. The blank can be configured to define the circumferential case to include one or more inward protrusions at or near one or more ends of the circumferential case that is configured to extend into the circumferential case above and/or below the article to retain the article longitudinally.

Packaging System With Folded Sidewalls
20200107901 · 2020-04-09 ·

A packaging system utilizing a thin, planar sheet of material that is folded to have a base and at least three sidewalls. At least one mounting feature is integrated into at least one sidewall to secure at least one medical device component, wherein the at least one medical device component is mountable onto the at least one sidewall.

Slit Paper Method of Expansion, Shipment and Expansion Devices

An expansion devise includes an unexpended slit sheet roll that is wound on a paper core that is wider than the slit sheet paper. The paper core is placed into a yoke that holds the paper in position on each side of the unexpended slit sheet material. An adjustable downward pressure is exerted on the paper core and the paper core exerts pressure on the yoke. As the paper is pulled, this downward pressure creates the friction required to enable the unexpended slit sheet to be unwind and fed while simultaneously expanding. A blank sheet is formed into a box that stabilizes slit paper sheet wound around a core member.

CONTAINER ASSEMBLY

A container assembly for securing one or more bottles that includes an outer box and an insert. The outer box includes a bottom portion, a top pivotably connected to the first wall of the bottom portion and a securing portion pivotably connected to one of the second, third or fourth walls. The securing portion includes a neck slot that is configured to receive the neck of the bottle when the securing portion is in the securing position. The insert includes an upper retainer portion having a neck retaining slot defined therein, a main panel and a lower retainer portion. The neck retaining slot or tunnel in the upper retainer portion is configured to receive the neck of the bottle. The lower retainer portion has a bottom retaining opening defined therein. The main panel extends between the upper and lower retainer portions. When the insert is received in the box interior, the securing portion is positioned over at least a portion of the insert in the securing position, and the top is positioned over the securing portion in the closed position.

Folding Box Made of Cardboard

A folding box made of cardboard includes a blank which forms four lateral surfaces, a cover, and a base of a cuboid and which includes four main folding lines which divide the blank into four main surfaces and a securing surface. Each of the main surfaces has a main surface segment, which forms a respective lateral surface of the cuboid after the securing surface is secured to the opposite main surface, and multiple auxiliary folding lines, which run transversely to the main folding lines and each of which connects one of the main surface segments to an auxiliary surface segment. The auxiliary surface segments form the cover and the base of the cuboid. At least one of the auxiliary surface segments has a plurality of gaps between enclosed parallel webs and a folding line which runs over the auxiliary surface segment orthogonally to the webs and in which the auxiliary surface segment can be folded such that multiple receiving compartments that protrude from the base side arc formed by the webs within the folding box. Accordingly, an improved folding box which is suitable for receiving, positioning, and presenting goods, in particular toothbrushes in blister packs, is provided.

An expansion devise includes an unexpanded slit sheet roll that is wound on a paper core that is wider than the slit sheet paper. The paper core is placed into a yoke that holds the paper in position on each side of the unexpanded slit sheet material. An adjustable downward pressure is exerted on the paper core and the paper core exerts pressure on the yoke. As the paper is pulled, this downward pressure creates the Triton required to enable the unexpanded slit sheet to be unwind and fed while simultaneously expanding. A blank sheet is formed into a box that stabilizes slit paper sheet wound around a core member.
