A pallet for supportively carrying and transporting goods as a unit load in a stable efficient manner is disclosed. The pallet can be configured as a rigid or easily disassemblable compact collapsed structure. Interlocking frame members form an upper planar surface with one or more gap or void areas. A sheet of flexible material operatively secured to the frame is tautly stretched to overlie the void areas and forms a structural part of the upper planar surface to counteract downward load forces applied to the fabric over the pallet surface void areas. The sheet material preferably comprises woven polypropylene material.

A nail plater apparatus includes at least one nail plate magazine configured to hold a plurality of nail plates, and at least one nail plate extractor assembly associated with the at least one nail plate magazine and configured to position at least one nail plate therefrom to at least one nail plate pressing area. A board feeder is configured to position a board to a board receiving area. At least one nail plate presser assembly is adjacent the board receiving area and aligned with the at least one nail plate pressing area and configured to press the at least one nail plate into the board.

A nail plater apparatus includes a board magazine configured to hold stacked boards, and a pair of spaced apart nail plate magazines, with each nail plate magazine configured to hold stacked nail plates. The nail plater apparatus includes a pair of spaced apart nail plate extractor assemblies, with each nail plate extractor assembly associated with a respective nail plate magazine and configured to position a nail plate therefrom to a respective nail plate pressing area. A board feeder is configured to position a board from the board magazine to a board receiving area, with ends of the board being aligned with the nail plates positioned in the respective nail plate pressing areas. A pair of spaced apart nail plate presser assemblies overlie ends of the board receiving area and is aligned with the respective nail plate pressing areas to press the nail plates into the ends of the board.

The invention relates to a plastic pallet (1) with an upper part (2) provided with female foot parts (4, 4) and skids (3, 3) provided with male foot parts (5, 5). The male foot parts (5, 5), together with the female foot parts (4, 4), form feet (21, 21), with the foot parts (4, 4) of the upper part and the foot parts (5, 5) of the skids (3 3) being fastened to one another by means of snap connections (6). Each male foot part (5, 5) includes at least two snap hooks (8), which are arranged with mirror symmetry in pairs and which each have a hook head (9) with undercut (91), a snap arm (8) and a rear side (10), the undercuts (9) of the hook heads (9) facing away from one another and the rear sides (10) of the snap hooks (8) facing towards one another. Each female foot part (4, 4) includes at least one latch element (7), into which the hook heads (9) are engaged, forming a snap connection (6) in each case. The female foot parts (4, 4) are integrally connected to the upper part (2). Each female foot part (4, 4) includes at least one securing element (12), each with at least one free end (13), the securing element (12) being integrally connected to the female foot part (4, 4), and the securing element (12) protruding into an intermediate space (24) between the rear sides (10) of the snap hooks (8) so that the snap hooks (8) remain in the engaged position.

A device for storing, transporting and/or handling a liquid or liquids and methods for using the device are described. The device is suitable for use with sterile or aseptic liquids, particularly with large liquid volumes such as 10-1000 liters or more, and avoids the need for bags, bins and carriers commonly used for storing and transporting large volumes of liquids. The device comprises a coiled tubing. The coiled tubing can be loaded onto a spool to support the coiled tubing. The tubing can be filled, sealed, stored and transported in a more robust manner than previously achieved with bags, bins and carriers.

A pallet includes fire retardant coatings to improve the overall fire performance of the pallet. First, the coatings may be used in combination with fire retardant additives in the plastic material of the pallet in order to reduce the amount of additives, thereby reducing cost and improving the structural performance of the pallet. Alternatively or additionally, the fire retardant coatings may be placed inside the pallet. This eliminates the chance that the fire retardant coating will get worn off during use. For example, the coating could be placed between the reinforcement sheet and the deck or runners, within the columns, etc.

A composite pallet is made of concrete fill material that is enclosed in a frame structure. The frame structure includes a first frame member and a second frame member. The first frame member has a first frame member cavity that contains the concrete fill material. The first frame member has a tenon, and the second frame member has a mortice in which the tenon of the first frame member is received. The tenon of the first frame member defines a fill gap through which the fill material is able to flow during manufacturing. The frame structure is made of sheet metal that has seams located inside the frame structure.

A composite pallet structure includes a unit pallet including: upper and lower basic supporting boards, at least two spaced-apart auxiliary rods attached to each of the corresponding sides of the upper and lower basic supporting boards, a plurality of spacers distributed between the auxiliary rods on the upper basic supporting board and the auxiliary rods on the lower basic supporting board, and a plurality of fixing elements for restricting the spacers within the space between the upper and lower basic supporting boards in order for the unit pallet to have high supporting strength. The composite pallet structure needs no soldering and, therefore, can be easily repaired and recycled.
