Dispenser for a flowable substance
A dispenser has a bottle (2) and a closure (3) for the bottle (2). The closure (3) has abase (4) forming a dispensing outlet (6) and a flip-cap for openably closing the dispensing outlet (6). The base (4) is attached on the bottle (2). The dispenser (1) further having a hinge (7) which interconnects the flip-cap and the base (4) for swiveling the flip-cap relative to the base (4) between a closed position, in which the flip-cap closes the outlet (6), and an open position in which the outlet (6) is open. The hinge (7) forms a swivel axis. The closure (3) forms a first end (18, 19) in a direction toward the flip-cap and a second end (18, 19) in a direction toward the base (4). The closure (3) in an area between the hinge-level plane and the second end (18, 19) forms an outer surface circumferentially around the longitudinal axis which is at least partly provided by an outer surface of the base (4) and an outer surface of the flip-cap.
Spouted pouch provided with a closure device
A spouted pouch has a spout (10) having an exterior surface provided with a first screw thread (21). The spout body is provided with a rotation preventing boss (25, 26). A closure device (40) secured on the neck and comprises: a socket (50; 150) configured to the screwed onto the neck (12) of the spout (10), a user openable or user removable cap (70; 170) supported on the socket in a manner so as to be openable or removable relative to the socket (50; 150). The socket has a bore (52) with a second screw thread (56) that cooperates with the first screw thread upon screwing the socket onto the neck. An upper section of the exterior surface of the socket body defines a discharge portion (53). At a lower end the socket body is provided with a permanent snap lock anti-back off structure (60) comprising a portion (61, 63; 161, 162) that is configured to flex over the rotation preventing boss (25, 26) upon screwing of the socket onto the neck and then snap behind said boss. This structure is configured to remain intact upon a user opening or removing the cap for the first time. The cap (70; 170), in a closed position thereof, covers the discharge portion (53) and in an opened or removed position clears the discharge portion (53).
VALVE FOR A DISPENSING CONTAINER
A valve assembly for a dispensing container includes a closure body detachably coupled to a co-injected valve. The closure body includes a main closure body coupled to a closure cap via a flexible hinge. The co-injected valve includes a valve head and a valve frame. The valve head includes a valve head portion with multiple valve head slits, a sleeve portion, and a peripheral sealing flange. The valve frame is permanently coupled to the valve head and includes a radial ledge and a radial wall that support the peripheral sealing flange of the valve head. The co-injected valve is fabricated via a two-step injection molding process. The first step includes fabricating the valve frame from a first injection material, and the second step includes fabricating the valve member from a second injection material.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure (40) includes a closure body (54) defining a first latch portion (60) and a lid (56) connected to the body (54) movable between (i) a closed position, and (ii) an open position. The lid includes a flexible, recessed press portion (58) defining a second latch portion (64). The closure body (54) and the lid (56) have (i) a latched configuration with the lid (56) in the closed position wherein the first latch portion (60) and the second latch portion (64) are oriented in a confronting relationship to prevent the lid (56) from moving into its open position, and (ii) an unlatched configuration with the lid (56) in the closed position wherein the recessed press portion (58) is deflected inwardly to move the second latch portion (64) out of the confronting relationship with the first latch portion (60) to permit the lid (56) to move from its closed position.
PACKAGING SERVICE CAPSULE FOR COSMETIC PRODUCT, AND ASSOCIATED PACKAGING DEVICE
The service capsule (20) comprises:an outer skirt (32),a transverse wall (34) defining at least one outlet orifice (48). The service capsule (20) includes, for each orifice (48), a dispensing conduit (36) defining a dispensing passage (51). The service capsule (20) includes a closing cap (40), mounted moving between a clear position and a position applied on the transverse wall (34). A filter (38) is arranged upstream from and/or in the product dispensing conduit (36), and is configured so that the cosmetic product (12) in the container (18) necessarily passes through the filter (38) when the product (12) is extracted from the container (18) through the service capsule (20). The filter (38) is integral with the product dispensing conduit (36).

The co-injected valve is fabricated via a two-step injection molding process. The first step includes fabricating the valve frame from a first injection material, and the second step includes fabricating the valve member from a second injection material.
Selectively Openable Closure for a Container
A closure for a container, and more specifically a closure that is selectively openable and/or lockable providing, for example, one or more child resistant opening features is disclosed.
Travel bottle with slide or rotatable lock
A bottle includes a secure sealing mechanism. A slide switch plate or rotatable plate maintains the contents of the bottle. This is achieved by securing a dispensing mechanism in a closed, locked position and sealing an outlet so that any liquids are prevented from exiting the bottle.
Closure Assembly
A closure including a base, a cutter and a cap is described which is configured to be attached to a container. Upon initial removal of the cap from the base, the cutter is configured to move downwards relative to the base so as to create an opening through the container. The portion of the container through which the cutter creates an opening may be formed of a film that is configured to be easily pierceable by the cutter. Methods of molding the closure components may include co-molding the cutter and base an in integral unit so as to facilitate and expedite assembly of the base, cutter and cap components to form the closure.
