Tamper-evident closure
A flip-top dispensing closure (10) is provided. The closure comprises: a base (12) connectable to a container neck (1); a lid (14) hingedly connected to the base so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position; and a dispensing member (20). The closure further comprises a tamper-indicating member (5). The tamper-indicating member (5) activates either: upon first opening of the lid (14); or if the base (12) is removed from the neck (1).
Closure Assembly
A closure including a base, a cutter and a cap is described which is configured to be attached to a container. Upon initial removal of the cap from the base, the cutter is configured to move downwards relative to the base so as to create an opening through the container. The portion of the container through which the cutter creates an opening may be formed of a film that is configured to be easily pierceable by the cutter. Methods of molding the closure components may include co-molding the cutter and base an in integral unit so as to facilitate and expedite assembly of the base, cutter and cap components to form the closure.
CONTAINERS AND METHODS FOR ISOLATING LIQUIDS PRIOR TO DISPENSING
A container (100) for isolating first and second fluids, such as beverage concentrate components, until dispensing is provided, as well as methods of assembly and dispensing. The container can have first (111) and second (113) enclosed bodies for containing the first and second fluids to be dispensed and an insert (130) directing fluid from the enclosed bodies, such as toward one or more valves or separate discharge paths (148a, 148b).

FITMENT FOR A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
A fitment (20, 20A) is provided for a flexible, collapsible container (22) with an opening. The fitment (20, 20A) has a body (24, 24A) with an inner end (31) and an outer end (32) and an access passage (30) for communicating with an interior of the container (22). The body (24, 24A) has a height defined between the inner end (31) and outer end (32). The body (24, 24A) has a sealing portion (36, 36A) for being attached to the interior of the container (22). The sealing portion (36) has a major dimension (MD) oriented generally transverse of the height of the body (24, 24A). The fitment (20, 20A) further has a pour lip (46, 46A) that extends from the body outer end (32) and projects laterally relative to the access passage (30). The pour lip (46, 46A) defines a pour path (PP).

Container Closure with a Vent Capability
A container closure manufactured or adapted to be appended to a container that permits the discriminatory disbursement of the container contents; the container closure consisting of at least one vent on, within, or part of the container closure that allows for air, liquid, gas, or some substance to pass from one side or section of the container closure to another, while providing the ability of the container closure to secure contents within an appended container.
HINGED CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure (100) for a container comprises a base (102) and a cap (104) comprising a top member (104A) and a body member (104B); and a connecting member (110) extending between and connecting said base (102) and said cap (104), said cap (104) being mobile between a first, closed position and a second, opened position, said body member (104B) further comprising a recess (114) in said body member (104B) where said connecting member (110) is fastened along a first hinge (112) to said recess (114) at a side (115B) thereof proximate to said top member (104A), such that when said cap (104) is disposed in said first, closed position the connecting member (110) lies within said recess (114) substantially flush with an exterior surface of said body member (104B); said connecting member (110) being capable of rotating through at least 90 about said first hinge (112) in which the connecting member (110) comprises a plurality of intermediate hinge (116) providing rotation of said connecting member (110) over a deflection of at least 270.
Pressure equalization apparatus for a container and methods associated therewith
A device is provided that assists with equalizing air pressure within a container with the atmospheric air pressure as liquid is being poured from the container and includes one or more relatively short air tubes. The device is provided with the ability to simultaneously equalize pressure in the container while also providing a drip collection mechanism. The device may be configured for unidirectional pouring or multi-directional pouring.
