Container lids with latches
A container lid including a container top and a closure coupled to the container top. The container top defines a lid opening. The closure is rotatable about a closure rotation axis between a closed position in which the lid opening is closed and an open position in which the lid opening is open. The closure has a proximal end positioned at the closure rotation axis and a distal end positioned away from the axis. A push button is movably coupled to the closure and is movable between first and second push button positions. In the first push button position, the closure is retained in the closed position. In the second push button position, the closure is not retained in the closed position. The push button is positioned at the proximal end of the closure. The push button is rotatable about the closure rotation axis.
Valve assembly
Disclosed herein is a valve assembly for a feeding or drinking vessel. The valve assembly comprises a valve seat surface (229), and a valve element having a valve face opposing said valve seat surface (229), a center axis and a rim (232). The valve element further comprises a biasing element (242) configured such that, in a rest position, the valve face is biased against the valve seat surface (229), wherein the valve element rim (232) is arranged to be anchored and the biasing element (242) is arranged intermediate the valve element center axis and rim (232).
PROTECTED TUMBLER LID HAVING A SPRING-BIASED HINGED PROTECTIVE CAP
A protected tumbler lid with a protective cap for use with a beverage tumbler. The protected tumbler lid includes a tumbler lid with an upper portion and a lower portion that includes a sealing gasket that can be pressed into the mouth of a tumbler to fit snugly and prevent leakage past the sealing gasket. It also includes a protective cap that covers the upper portion of the tumbler lid when the protective cap is in a closed position. A spring-biased hinge is connected to both the protective cap and to the tumbler lid. The spring-biased hinge enables pivoting of the protective cap between the closed position and an open position. The protective cap of the protected tumbler lid substantially protects the top and side of the tumbler lid from accumulating dust, grass clippings, and/or insects that ordinarily would find their way onto the top surface of the tumbler lid.
Lid assembly for a container
A lid assembly for a container includes a seal assembly coupled to a base portion, and the seal assembly includes an intermediate arm pivotably coupled to the base portion and an engagement portion disposed adjacent to a second end. The seal assembly also includes a plunger arm pivotably coupled to the intermediate arm and a seal member disposed on the plunger arm. Displacing a button member coupled to the base portion actuates the seal assembly from a closed first position in which the seal member seals a fluid aperture formed in a spout of the base portion to an open second position in which the fluid aperture is not sealed.
CONTAINER LIDS WITH LATCHES
A container lid may include a container top, a closure, and a push button. The closure may be coupled to the container top and movable between a closed closure position in which a lid opening of the container top is closed and an open closure position in which the lid opening is open. The push button may be movably coupled to the closure. The push button may include a latch configured to selectively engage the container top when the closure is in the closed closure position. The push button may be movable between a first push button position in which the latch is engageable with the container top and a second push button position in which the latch is disengaged from the container top. The closure defines a push button recess and the push button is disposed substantially within the push button recess and substantially enclosed by the closure.
LID FOR A CONTAINER
A closure for a lid that has at least one opening may include an activator pivotally coupled to the lid, a cover pivotally coupled to the lid, and a connecting member pivotally coupled to the activator and the cover. The activator, the cover and the connecting member may form an over center latching mechanism. In addition, the activator may be pivotally connected to the lid about a first axis of rotation, the cover may be pivotally connected to the lid about a second axis of rotation, the connecting member may pivotally connected to the activator about a third axis of rotation, and the connecting member may be pivotally connected to the cover about a fourth axis of rotation. The distance between the first and second axes of rotation may be constant, and the distance between the third and fourth axes of rotation may change as the cover is moved.
Closure for an opening in a lid
Lid for a container
A lid may include a lower portion and an upper portion that is pivotally attached to the lower portion. The lid may also include a locking member coupled to a bottom surface of the upper portion of the lid. The locking member may be slidable between a locked and an unlocked position. When the locking member is in the locked position, the upper portion of the lid may be pivotally coupled to the lower portion of the lid and movable between an open position that allows the one or more fluids to be poured from the container and a closed position that prevents the one or more fluids from being poured from the container.
DUAL DRINK MODE LID ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER
A lid assembly is adapted to be removably coupled to a container, and the lid assembly includes an actuation member and a seal member each pivotably coupled to a base member. In a sealed position, a sealing portion of the seal member seals a fluid aperture. When the actuation member pivots from a first actuation position to a second actuation position, an engagement portion of the actuation member contacts an engagement portion of the seal member to displace the seal member from the sealed position to a first open position in which the seal member is disposed at a first angle from the base member. When a straw is inserted through the fluid aperture, the straw pivots the seal member from the sealed position to a second open position in which the seal member is disposed at a second angle from the base member.
DRINKING CONTAINER WITH MULTI-POSITION VALVE
The present technology discloses a multi-position valve for use with a container. The valve can have a frustoconical structure having apertures thereon, and a concentric flap attached to the frustoconical structure by a hinge, wherein the concentric flap pivots from a first closed position to a second open position. When the concentric flap of the interior valve is in the first closed position, the concentric flap abuts against the frustoconical structure and blocks fluid flow through the apertures. When the concentric flap of the interior valve is in the second open position, the concentric flap is pivoted upward at the hinge and away from the frustoconical structure and permits fluid flow through the apertures.
