Portable beverage container with self opening hinged lid
A portable beverage container (e.g., an insulated, double-walled bottle) is disclosed. The container includes a lid pivotably connected to it by a hinge. The lid is arranged to be automatically pivoted open by the spring assembly when a catch on the lid is released so that the lid opens in a controlled, non-jarring manner. The spring assembly comprises an elastomeric member and a contact surface (e.g., a recess in a cap of the bottle). The elastomeric member is arranged to cooperate with the contact surface whereupon the elastomeric member operates bi-modally to effect the automatic opening of the lid.
CLOSURE FOR A VESSEL AND VESSEL COMPRISING SUCH A CLOSURE
A closure for a vessel is provided, including a first closure part to which a cover is pivotably attached, which can be kept closed by way of a push-push locking mechanism. The invention enables a large-surface-area cover, which does not impair filling and emptying of the vessel. The closure covers a seal of the vessel.
Cover body structure and bottle thereof
Disclosed is a cover body structure and a bottle thereof. The cover body structure includes: a rotary cover, a dust-proof cap, a driving assembly, and a toggle member. The rotary cover is provided with a straw and the dust-proof cap is rotatably connected to the rotary cover, to enable the dust-proof cap and the rotary cover to have a buckled state and a flip state. By connecting one end of the driving assembly to the dust-proof cap, rotatably disposing the toggle member on the rotary cover, and rotatably connecting the other end of the driving assembly to the toggle member, the toggle member can be driven to enable the toggle member to rotate to a liquid path blocked state in which the straw is bent in the buckled state and rotate to a liquid path conducted state in which the straw is rebounded and restored in the flip state.
LID FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
Some embodiments described herein are directed to a lid for beverage container having a lid body having a spout, a closure rotatably coupled to the lid body, a latch, and a lock disposed around the spout having a ring and an actuator. The closure can rotate between a closed position to cover the spout and an open position. The latch can move between a first position in which the latch engages with the closure in the closed position and a second position in which the latch does not engage with the closure. The ring can rotate around the spout between an unlocked position in which the button is allowed to move to the second position and a locked position in which the button is inhibited to move to the second position. The actuator extends from the ring and is accessible from a top surface of the lid body.
Novel Lid Assembly
The present invention is about a hinge mechanism, for a lid assembly for a container, comprising: a first mounting structure with a first profile on a main lid member of said lid assembly; a coupler having a first end and an opposing second end, said first end being engaged with said first mounting structure and being provided with a second profile operably coupling to said first profile of said first mounting structure, said coupler being configured to operably move reciprocally towards and away from said first mounting structure; and a first lid movably connecting to said main lid member to move between a first position covering a passage on said main lid member fluidically communicable with the interior of said container and a second position uncovering said passage, and operably connecting to said coupler, and characterized in that, when said first lid being at said first position and said second position, said first mounting structure and said first end of said coupler coupling with each other due to the coupling between said first profile and said second profile; and during the movement of said first lid, said coupler moving axially away from said first mounting structure due to the decoupling of said first profile and said second profile.
