An apparatus for facilitating dispensing payloads into a container. The apparatus is couplable with an opening of the container and includes a placing element and a dispensing element. The placing element is coupled with the opening, includes first openings fluidly coupled with the opening, and defines payload receptacles around the first openings. The payload receptacles define recesses for receiving payload holders. The payload holders include breakable layers for releasably securing the payloads into the payload holders. The dispensing element is coupled with the placing element, transitions from a first position to a second position based on an external action, and includes a pressing element. The pressing element presses the payload holders based on the transitioning for breaking the breakable layers and releasing the payloads from the payload holders. The payloads pass through the first openings for dispensing the payloads into the container based on the releasing.

Blister package for contact lens

A blister package for a contact lens is provided. A deformable slider supporting a lens is movable via pull-tab or hinge to lift the contact lens out of a lens well. The deformable slider can include a hinge connected to a flexible peel-away top of the blister package or connected to a pull tab that can be pulled to pull taut the deformable slider. A blister package is also provided that includes a hinged shell having a lateral opening opposite the hinge, and a deformable slider that is folded over onto itself and seals both a top chamber and a bottom chamber. By pulling a tongue of the deformable slider, which extends from the lateral opening, the deformable slider can be removed from the closed shell and the closed shell can be opened enabling access to the contact lens.

Metering device made of plastics material

The metering device includes a metering container which can be fitted with screwing action on a standard bottle neck. The metering container has a funnel-shaped base, which is adjoined by a cylindrical lateral wall having, at the upper end, a cross-sectionally u-shaped collar, to which a cover surface can be applied in a form-fitting manner. At the top of the metering device is a pressure-exerting head with an encircling, detachable periphery. A puncturing mechanism having a two-part pressure-exerting pin can be actuated by the pressure-exerting head. The puncturing mechanism is fixed to the cover surface, prior to initial use, and is separated out of the cover surface by a cylindrical casing wall on the pressure-exerting head. The second part of the puncturing mechanism has a punching sleeve, which severs membranes which close the metering container, whereupon the contents of the metering container can be supplied into the bottle.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PERSONALIZED DRUG PRODUCTS

A system and method for determining an optimal combination drug product for a particular patient includes a processor that receives patient information and determines an optimal combination drug product based on the received information. A system which can provide information regarding predicted events or pathologies based on received patient information and guidance on subsequent steps to ameliorate, treat or intervent. A drug production device includes a plurality of drug containers, each of which are coupled to a drug dispensing channel. A controller controls the dispensing of drug through each channel, and a combination drug product is produced from the dispensed drugs. A combination drug product includes a plurality of discrete units of a first drug, and a plurality of discrete units of a second drug. A transdermal patch includes a plurality of drug compartments, each containing a quantity of drug product, and a controller for controlling the release of drugs from each compartment. Feedback loop elements can enable iterations to optimized personalized doses.

Dispensing device having a peripheral outer wall
10023370 · 2018-07-17 · ·

A simple, cost-effective dispensing device is proposed which can be independent of a container. The dispensing device has a peripheral outer wall which defines a dispensing space. The dispensing space is closed by a tear-resistant film on the push-open side, whereas the cover side is closed by a cover plate which can be formed in one part with the peripheral outer wall. The dispensing space can be subdivided into chambers by connecting walls. The plunger can be used to successively push open the tear-resistant film and the active ingredients in the chambers are thus dispensed.
