The present disclosure is directed to a container assembly including a container sealed by a closure. The container has a main chamber in which a highly nutritive liquid food product can be filled and stored aseptically or through retort processing. The closure includes a separate chamber in which a supplement sensitive to thermal processing of the liquid food product can be filled and stored. The container assembly permits the closure filled with the supplement to be attached to the container after severe thermal processing conditions have subsided, and permits the supplement to be conveniently and hygienically mixed with the liquid food product immediately prior to use.

Provided is an accommodating device for accommodating a different type of material and opening an accommodating part via a main body. The accommodating part, which is sealed, is disposed around a container spout part and coupled to the container spout part in a discharge direction of a material contained in the container and includes a storage space having a separate storage function. While the main body is disposed around the container spout part coupled to the accommodating part and is coupled to the container spout part, the storage space disposed in the accommodating part is opened to perform a dropping and mixing process in a storage space disposed in the container.

The invention relates to an improved capsule for substances to be mixed at the time of use. The capsule object of the present invention is applied to close the mouth (1a) of a container (1) containing a solvent (10), and comprises a first part (2), of the known type, intended to be connected to the mouth of the container, and a second part (3), connected to the first part, by a wall (4) which firmly closes the bottom (3a) of the second part (3) and the mouth of the container intended to contain the active substance; the second part has an open upper mouth (3b), which is closed by hermetically removable sealing means when the second part contains the active substance.

A method and apparatus for powder dosing a nutritional composition may include a container body and a closure removably coupled to the container body. A nutritive substance may be retained between an upper portion of the container body and the closure. The nutritive substance may be released and mixed with the contents of the container body prior to consumption. The nutritive substance may be sealed prior to use in order to prevent contamination of the nutritive substance.

Consumer-interactive fluorescent beverages are disclosed, in particular, a user-operable retention-release system for releasing at least one florescent medium into a beverage for obtaining an attractive visual effect. A bottle cap that is an apparatus for containing heterogeneous materials, applied in the discharge direction of materials in a container, comprises: a main body coupled to a bottle neck; and a containing unit assembled inside the main body with a storage space. An activated unit is assembled in the center of the upper support unit of the main body. An activation unit for downward movement is coupled to the activated unit so that the activated unit may move downward by a separate activation unit. An opening/closing unit is coupled with the lower part of the activated unit with the above structure in order to seal an opening/closing hole of the storage space.

A dispensing cap sealingly mountable within the throat of a beverage container has an open-bottomed flow tube connected to a surrounding skirt by a resilient diaphragm, forming a reservoir surrounding the flow tube. A membrane attached to the periphery of the skirt seals off the bottom of the reservoir. The lower end of the flow tube extends into the reservoir and is adapted for piercing the membrane. A downward force applied to the flow tube will resiliently deform the diaphragm, causing the lower end of the flow tube to pierce the membrane, thus allowing the contents of the reservoir to flow into the container. The flow tube extends above the diaphragm and terminates in a flow assembly operable between a closed position and a consume position in which the contents of the container can flow through the flow tube and out an opening in the cap sleeve.

A cap device and methods for use with a container are provided. The cap device can include a piercer cover and a shell for comprising a composition. The piercer cover has one or more side walls comprising one or more piercers attached to the top wall and disposed toward the bottom portion of the piercer cover for breaking a film covering the bottom portion of the shell.
