Recyclable cable tie
09868573 · 2018-01-16 ·

A recyclable cable tie has a single-aperture buckle, at least one multi-aperture buckle and a belt. The top of the single-aperture buckle is connected to the bottom of the most proximal multi-aperture buckle via the connecting tape. Each one of the at least one multi-aperture buckle has at least two up-down symmetrically arranged engaging cases. Each engaging case has an engaging pawl and an opening. Multiple unidirectional ratchets are formed on the top of the engaging pawl and extend up into the opening of the multi-aperture buckle. The belt is connected to the bottom of the single-aperture buckle. The belt may first engage with the single-aperture buckle, and the extra tail of the belt may be cut off. The extra tail that is cut off may be further used to engage with the multi-aperture buckles continuously so as to be recyclable.

The tie teeth are provided on and fixed to outer walls of two sides of the tie body, and in combination with the locking teeth provided on the inner walls of the two sides of the locking head.

OBJECT BUNDLING APPARATUS
20240410498 · 2024-12-12 ·

An object bundling apparatus includes an opening defining an engagement channel having an inner wall. At least one body engagement member is disposed on the inner wall having a holding surface laterally bound by a first end and a second end. The holding surface has a non-linear surface profile between the first end and second end. A strap is adapted to be passed through the opening in a direction of insertion, the strap having a plurality of strap engagement members. Each of the strap engagement members includes a contact surface laterally bound by a first strap end and a second strap end. The contact surface has a non-linear surface profile between the first strap end and second strap end. The non-linear contact surface profile of the strap is configured to nest within the non-linear holding surface profile upon advancement of the strap in a direction opposite the direction of insertion.

IN-LINE CABLE BUNDLING SYSTEM
20240409286 · 2024-12-12 ·

An in-line object bundling system including a body and a strap is disclosed. The body has an insertion channel extending through the body, the channel including a first channel wall and a second channel wall opposite the first channel wall. At least one engagement member is disposed on the first channel wall. At least one biasing member is disposed on the second channel wall. The strap has a first strap surface and a second strap surface. The second strap surface includes strap engagement members. When the strap is inserted in the insertion channel the at least one biasing member contacts the first strap surface and thereby urges the strap engagement members proximate the at least one engagement member on the first channel wall.

Twist off cable tie fastener

An improved twist off cable tie fastener having an elongate flexible strap defining a plurality of parallel adjacent transverse teeth. First end portion of elongate strap is tapered to a rounded tip for insertion through a channel defined in a dimensionally larger head portion carried at opposing end of the elongate strap. At least one angulated tooth carried by a flexing arm within the channel irremovably engages with the transverse teeth defined in the elongate strap. The head portion has two opposing and spaced apart wings to facilitate grasping and rotation by a user about a minor transverse axis of the elongate strap. Partial rotation of the wings concentrates strap fracturing forces at a position immediately adjacent to the head portion causing destruction of the cable tie fastener and allowing removal thereof without tools.

Fastener with Support Feature for Pawl Component

A fastener assembly having a unique pawl design for the head portion of a fastener assembly. The fastener assembly may be a cable tie that includes a head portion having a pawl that includes a primary pawl tooth, at least one set of secondary pawl teeth, and a shelf support feature for pawl. The fastener assembly of the present invention prevent pawl roll out which is a failure that currently occurs with fastener assembly currently available in the market place.

LOW PROFILE COMPONENT TIE

A low profile component tie includes a strap having a top and a bottom. The strap is configured to wrap around a component with the bottom facing the component. The strap has sides between the top and the bottom. The strap has teeth disposed along at least one of the sides. The strap extends between a root end and a distal end. A head is provided at the root end of the strap. The head has a channel configured to receive the strap. The head has at least one pawl provided in the channel. The pawl engages at least one of the teeth along the side of the strap to secure the strap in the head.

A cable tie has a buckle member, an engaging band, and an insertion band. The buckle member has an engaging hole and an engaging block. The engaging block is resilient, is formed in the buckle member, and extends into the engaging hole. The engaging band is selectively inserted into the engaging hole and has two side faces and a thickness. At least one of the side faces has a channel having multiple unidirectional teeth. The insertion band is integrally formed on and extends from the buckle member and has a thickness. The insertion band is stacked with the engaging band when the insertion band and the engaging band are inserted into the engaging hole in the buckle member. The sum of the thicknesses of the insertion band and the engaging band is substantially equal to the height of the engaging hole.

Wire harness and connector component

Provided is a wire harness that enables a connector component and a cable bundle to be attached to an external member while facilitating the operation and preventing wobbling of the connector component. The connector component is connected to a cable branch line on the radially outward side of the cable bundle, and includes a pair of confining surfaces on each of two sides in the circumferential direction of the cable bundle. The pair of confining surfaces face each other across a gap. The bundling member is disposed between the pair of confining surfaces, and is wound around the connector component and the cable bundle together from the outer side. The fixture is fixed to the bundling member and to an external member.

BAND
20170074299 · 2017-03-16 ·

A band that enables preventing an extra length region of a band main body from interfering with a peripheral component or the like. The band includes a head that has a through-hole, and a band main body that extends from the head. A wrapping region that is to be wrapped around an object, an insertion region that is to be inserted into the through-hole, and an extra length region that is to be pulled out from the through-hole are successively arranged in the extending direction of the band main body. The through-hole of the head is provided with an inclined surface that orients the insertion region such that the extra length region extends from the through-hole in a direction of approaching the wrapping region.
